I have reviewed other AXIS-Y skincare products in the past (reviews here and on IG) and I am glad that I am getting the chance to review some more skincare items from them, as I am impressed with their products, especially their New Skin Resolution Gel Mask (review here). All AXIS-Y products were complementarily provided by AXIS-Y for review purposes.  AXIS-Y is formulated more for dehydrated, oily and blemish prone skincare, or those who live in humid regions.   
 
AXIS-Y is a cruelty-free, vegan brand that does not contain any artificial colors or fragrances.  Any scent from the product is from the ingredients and not added fragrances.  AXIS-Y also curates their products based on the climate, as someone in a hot, humid area would have different needs from someone in a cold, arid area.

AXIS-Y has a skincare line that focuses on hydrating your skin, something all skin types need, especially oily skin!   They curated a mini version of all the productions in the hydrating line  ~ Water Your Skin Ultra Hydration Set.   This is a great way to try out the products if you are new to Axis-Y.   I have the full sized versions, so you will see those in the photos, but this mini kit is perfect for traveling too.  All products have no fragrance unless I mention it.

Sunday Morning Refreshing Cleansing Foam is a dense foaming cleanser with a low pH.  It contains patented  Aquaxyl, a hydrating compound made from ingredients derived from vegetable origin sugars ~ xylitylglucoside, anhydroxylitol, xylitol and glucose. Aquaxyl will also reinforce your skin barrier function, limiting water loss in your skin and preventing skin dehydration on a cellular level.

Coconut derived surfactants help gently cleanse the skin, with soothing chamomile, anti-inflammatory licorice, centella,calendula and heartleaf while 2000ppm of  birch sap is full of compounds that will help tone, moisturize and make your face smooth, supple and radiant.  It  contains high concentrates of amino acids, minerals, vitamins such as magnesium, potassium, enzymes, sodium, iron, vitamin C and sugars.  Birch sap has been traditionally used  in Northern European countries and the Baltic regions and it will protect and combat free radicals due to its powerful anti-aging and antioxidant ingredient

This is a very creamy and dense product and it does have a lovely thick lather.  It’s pH is 5.5 to 6, so it is mildly acidic and good for all skin types.  This did a great job cleansing my skin, removing any oils and makeup residue,  without stripping it dry.  Great for oily skin.

Aqua Boosting Essence Toner contains 10 different hyaluronic acids of varying molecular weights, so your skin will be hydrated from outer most to inner most layers of you skin and uses Oligo-Hyaluronic technology to help improve skin elasticity and wrinkles by reducing the size of hyaluronic acid molecules. Additional  hydrating  ingredients  beta-glucan, polyquarterium-51, panthenol and glycerin help keep the skin supple while moisturizing squalane  has the ability to penetrate the skin quickly and completely, which makes it valuable in skincare products, as it is a powerful antioxidant, UV damage preventative, prevents hyper-pigmentation due to age, promotes cell growth.

This also contains soothing and healing mugwort, which has been used in traditional herbal medicine to help heal skin wounds and contains a rich source of antioxidants.  It is famous for its skin purifying properties and its primary benefit is as an anti-inflammatory ~ it is quite soothing and gentle on the skin.  Artemisia helps reduce redness, rashes and other skin issues, including allergic reactions.  Mugwort helps heal skin wounds, such as blemishes, as it has anti-bacterial and anti fungal properties.

More healing ingredients in the form of CICA care, with centella asiastica and madecassoside , helping to soothe, reduce redness and inflammation and helps heal your skin.  This also has healing and calming heartleaf, antioxidant green tea, along with probiotic bifida ferment lysate ~ the claims behind this bacteria is that it works as a DNA repair agent when applied to your skin. Bifida lysate is the fermented result of bifida and it should help revitalize skin so it is clear and radiant, increase hydration and prevent dehydrated, rough skin.   It should also firm and restore elasticity to your skin while strengthening your skin barrier to help prevent damage from environmental factors.

PHA lactobionic acid  is a  sugar derived, gentler exfoliator as its molecules are larger and do not penetrate deeply into the skin.  They have hydrating and moisturizing benefits that can help strengthen your skin barrier function and they contain anti-oxidant properties.

This is such a great toner!  It is very bouncy and thick, yet doesn’t leave any sticky or tacky residue.  It has a pH balance of 5, so it is mildly acidic, helping to balance your skin.  It is VERY hydrating and perfect as the first step of a hydrating skincare routine.

I like using it with my GX-P01 Skincare Air Brush ~ This device turns your liquids into a fine mist and you spray it all over your face and skin.  It produces a fine mist (.3mm nozzle), so your skin is evenly hydrated and this has been my best friend lately for applying several layers of a hydrating toner.  It’s so easy to use, just add your liquid to the cup, place the lid back onto the cup and then turn on the device.  Press back on the Jet Button and mist away! 

You can adjust the atomization by rotating the screw located at the tail end of the spray gun ~ anti-clockwise will loosen the screw and increase the mist, while clockwise will tighten the screw and decrease the mist.

The GuXin GX-P01 Skincare Air Brush is an oxygen-enriched skincare device that uses  high-pressure atomization to reduce the liquid into nano molecules, according to their specifications. This helps water-based serums and toners to penetrate more deeply into the skin.

The Skincare Air Brush is rechargeable, lightweight and comes in several colors and designs.  I purchased this on my own and I am just sharing how much I love it.  

Advanced Aqua Boosting Ampoule is another soothing, hydrating skincare product in concentrated form.  Our skin brightening and antioxidant licorice friend shows up again  along with an eight hydrating HA complex that consists of sodium hyaluronate, hydroxypropyltrimonium hyaluronate, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, sodium acetylated hyaluronate, hyaluronic acid, hydrolyzed sodium hyaluronate, sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer and potassium hyaluronate. 

Additional CICA care is in here with saponin-rich, anti-inflammatory centella and four of its derivatives: asiaticoside helps form collagen to strengthen your skin and speeds up wound  healing.  Asiatic acid is an anti-aging compound, that helps to plump up your skin, prevents wrinkles, fine lines and scar tissue. Madecassic acid helps aid in the production of collagen and tissue while madecassoside helps soothe, reduce redness and inflammation and helps heal your skin.

This also has 0.5% of Anti Sebum P(HD), a patented complex consisting of evening primrose, arrowroot, pine needles and elm root which helps against oxidative damage to your skin, while healing and regenerating damaged skin, controlling sebum production, providing pore care and is an anti-bacterial.

This is a watery ampoule ~ in fact, it is more lightweight than the essence toner!  It applies nicely on the skin, providing hydration and leaves my skin semi-matte due to its oil controlling properties.   It doesn’t leave a sticky or greasy residue and is quite nice.
 

Heartleaf My Type Calming Cream was originally called the My Heartleaf Moisturizing Cream and this is one of my favorite gel creams!   Made with heartleaf (houttuynia cordata), a medicinal herb that is found in a lot in Asian skin care products. It is an antibiotic, which helps with preventing infection from skin problems, such as blemishes. It is also a potent antioxidant, as it contains anti-aging compounds such as flavonoids and triterpenoid, which helps strengthen, purify and revitalize your skin . It also has powerful detox properties, is an astringent and anti-inflammatory.

Centella asiatica,  another common herbal ingredient that is used medicinally to help speed up wound healing, such as blemishes and skin rashes. ~ great for healing and soothing care. This probably isn’t good for really dry skin types, but if you are even the tiniest bit oily or live in a hot humid climate, you will enjoy this quickly absorbing moisturizing gel-cream.⁣  There is also skin brightening, anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory licorice, antiseptic, astringent, antibacterial and  anti inflammatory sage, which also helps  stimulate your circulation to help heal your skin quickly.

Allantoin moisturizes, exfoliates and softens skin, making it look smooth and refined, while reducing and relieving irritation.  Patented technology ANTOXYL_S II ferments sorghum with aspergillus ferments to create a skin brightening, anti-aging, skin protecting compound so that your skin will stay healthy.

I don’t know why this went through a name change, but this is  actually the T-Zone cream from the Cera-Heart My Type Duo Cream, which I love!  I love the applicator ~  it’s a rounded bulb so you don’t scratch your skin if you apply it directly on your face. This is a lightweight yet deeply hydrating gel cream, doesn’t leave a sticky or greasy residue nor does it have a fragrance. 

It applies smoothly without any tugging on the skin and absorbs quickly, leaving my skin feeling soft and smooth.  It also helps with reducing irritated skin, such as skin blemishes. 

For healing, soothing and blemish care for oily and sensitive skin, I also received two full sized products to cover those special needs over the hot months.

Brand new Spot The Difference Blemish Treatment is made for oily, blemish prone and sensitive skin.  This contains 1% Phyto-Oligo complex made with hollyhock and aloe vera ~ highly moisturizing, highly anti-inflammatory, soothing, full of vitamins, amino acids and helps heal the skin.   2% of skin brightening, antioxidant niacinamide will help with pore care, while tea tree is known for its topical antiseptic and anti-fungal properties and help target and treat blemish-prone skin.  It also reduces oil and sebum production on your skin, while not disrupting the moisture level. Antibacterial, antioxidant 4-terpineol helps cleanse and purify your skin and pores while drying out blemishes.  This does comes from tea tree but doesn’t comes with the irritation of pure tea tree oil.   

This also has camphor, which does relieve skin inflammation, irritation and itching, and that is what provides that cooling feeling.  This contains hydrating pink ceramide capsules, which will help restore the skin’s barrier and provide moisturize. Other good stuff ~ soothing, moisturizing beta-glucan,  hydrating hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, anti-inflammatory, skin brightening licorice, AHA exfoliating glycolic acid and BHA salicylic acid, to go deep within the pores to unclog them of oils and debris. Rosemary antimicrobial effects and prevents bacteria from infecting pores and neem has antiseptic properties so it will help control and heal blemishes.

This comes in such a cute little bottle with an aqua cap. It has a pipette applicator and you can see the little pink ceramide capsules floating around ~ I am not sure what is causing the capsules to be pink like that as there is no added dye and I can’t think of any ingredient in the list that would cause the ceramide capsules  to be pink.  This has a very light scent with the tea tree and camphor but nothing overpowering. 

The capsules do dissolve into the skin as I pat the product in and you don’t need a lot of this ~ it is a spot treatment, not an all-over face serum!  If you suffer from acne that does cover a large portion of your face, I do recommend that you try to talk to your doctor or dermatologist first as you probably need something more potent than this.  This works well on my existing blemishes, drying them up quickly and reducing oil as well as healing them.  It is a nice little product for spot treating. 

Green Vital Energy Complex Sheet Mask is probably my favorite item here ~ Made with 61% mugwort extract, a soothing and healing ingredient, which has been used in traditional herbal medicine to help heal skin wounds and contains a rich source of antioxidants.  It is famous for its skin purifying properties along with  anti-aging benefits to keep your skin healthy.  Its primary benefit is as an anti-inflammatory and it is quite soothing and gentle on the skin.  Mugwort helps heal skin wounds, such as blemishes, as it has anti-bacterial and anti fungal properties.

Peony root is an anti-inflammatory, skin clarifying and brightening  ingredient. Some antioxidant veggies are coming your way ~ soothing cabbage helps cool down the skin,  moisturizing  anti-inflammatory okra strengthens the skin barrier, mineral rich spinach to help the skin better absorb nutrients and vitamin C and E rich broccoli helps with skin brightening and hyper-pigmentation.  These ingredients will help fight free radicals and help to reverse or diminish damage caused by them

Patented MultiEx BSASM  complex contains seven botanical extracts ~ green tea, centella, licorice, rosemary, chamomile, scutelaria baicalensis and polygonum cuspidatum root ~ which  are anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, soothing and healing ingredients, making this serum ideal for even those with dry or sensitive skin. The sheet mask is made from a plant based cellulose fiber.

This is truly a jelly mask!  Look at that rich green color with all of that jelly!  This has a refreshing herbal scent due to the oils in here ~ eucalyptus, save and juniper.  The mask is almost gelatinous in its texture due to all of the essence in here. 

The fit is really good and I have so much left over jelly essence in the pouch that I apply it over the textured mask and on my neck too.  I left it on for about 30 minutes and then removed ~ my skin REALLY was hydrated, cool to touch, no sticky or greasy residue.  I used this prior to my night time skin care routine and I could skip some of my hydrating steps as my skin was so plumped up with moisture!  In the morning, my little blemishes that were painful and red, were no longer painful or bright red.  They had calmed down and flatted out, so this mask really helps sooth and heal!  Another bonus with this mask is that it’s very cooling on the skin while wearing it, so I plan on putting the remainder in the frig for those hotter nights.
