I love trying out new brands and Jolse recommended that I try Needly, one of their more newer brands offered at their website. Jolse Cosmetic, a premier K-Beauty online store, sent me Needly Peony Jelly Mask for review purposes.
Skin Type/Concerns: oily, blemish prone, dehydrated, aging concerns, pores, fine lines/wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation
I received these products complementary to review and was not paid. All reviews are my own honest opinion and I never have been asked to write copy for a brand. I love sheet masks and I REALLY love a jelly mask, so Needly Peony Jelly Mask combines the best of two worlds. Harvested from Korea’s first national park in the Jirisan mountains, May flowers, also known as peonies, are fantastic for anti-inflammation benefits and the peony root is known for its skin clarifying and brightening properties. Another skin brightener is water soluble vitamin B3, niacinamide, which not only even outs your skin tone, but also provides antioxidant and pore care.

Pantolactone and panthenol offer intense moisture help the skin retain moisture, leaving skin looking glowy, healthy and plump. Trehalose supplies concentrated moisture to your skin and helps retain moisture, preventing your skin from drying out. Glutathione is an anti-aging antioxidant ingredient that will help fight free radicals and repair skin damage, resulting in a brighter skin tone.
Centella is a common herbal ingredient that is rich in saponins and is used medicinally to help speed up wound healing, such as blemishes and skin rashes. It also helps minimize the appearance of pores and is an anti-inflammatory. Allantoin moisturizes, exfoliates and softens skin, making it look smooth and refined, while reducing and relieving irritation
Rice bran is full of amino acids, vitamins, minerals and other nourishing compounds to help clear your skin, improve the appearance of pores, stimulates cellular renewal, treat acne ~ and if that wasn’t enough ~ has skin brightening and firming benefits. Honeysuckle is a soothing ingredient, that helps with skin irritation, improve uneven skin tone and it is anti-bacterial and antiseptic as well. It also tones and balances your skin. Orange flower blossoms will nourish your skin, leaving your skin more bright and soft.
Achillea millefolium is really an all purpose herb. It has been used for wound healing and calming skin issues and as an antimicrobial, helps keep wounds free from infection. Since it contains salicylic acid, it helps heal blemishes and prevent new outbreaks. It is an anti-everything ~anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral and antioxidant. It works for both dry and oily skin, and can soothe, heal damaged skin and relieve irritated skin.
And last but not least, milk proteins ~ Cleopatra was reported to have bathed in milk to keep her skin youthful, brighter and blemish free of imperfections. Milk hydrates and replenishes the skin with moisture, keeping it nourished and radiant. Milk protein extracts help shrink pores, soothes skin irritations, helps lighten skin discolorations from acne, exfoliates dead skin cells, helps speed up the healing of wounds and smooths your skin.

I love the packaging on this mask ~ the slightly textured, almost fabric-feeling pouch material with a design that is almost abstract in pale pinks, corals and white. It is just a hand holding the mask, but they did it very nicely that I didn’t even notice the hand until I really looked at the print. I would love to have a print of this as it is so pretty. Opening up the pouch, it has a foil interior and TONS of jelly essence in there.
The sheet mask is made from eco-friendly tencel, derived from eucalyptus fibers. It is very soft, gentle and this material prevents bacteria from growing. This mask is free from alcohol, synthetic fragrance and synthetic dyes. It really holds onto the jelly too.
As you can see in the above photo, I have so much essence in the pouch that I can gob it onto my hand. I patted the excess into the mask and on my neck and hands ~ as they need love too!
This feels so soothing while I wear the mask ~ this jelly needs to be bottled! The fit is nice and the sheet mask is soft ~ it is on the thicker side as it has to hold all of that jelly, but it adheres well. After removing, wow! My skin is plumped up, this did miracles to my pores as they are looking so much smaller and tight, and overall, my skin looks healthy, glowing without any stickiness or greasiness. I do recommend this mask and it is a must have if you are looking for a quick Spa treatment ~ it is that GOOD.
Where to Purchase
I am really impressed with this sheet mask and now I am looking at other Needly products I would like to try ~ they have a Desertica Calming Mask and a Face Light Oil, specifically designed for oily skin, that I will use in my next haul from Jolse. They also have a CICA line, anti-blemish line and pH balance line. Their packaging is very minimalist and I love it.
