Established back in 2014 as TMC Korea, 11 Huesday creates home care products that are professional quality that will respond to specific skin issues, while sticking to the basics. They have a range of products that will help treat skin that is exposed to harmful external environment pollution and stress. 11 Huesday uses ingredients suitable for your skin ~ from natural herbal medicine patented ingredients to the latest proven skincare ingredient. I received the following products from 11 Huesday for review purposes.
I received these products complementary to review and was not paid. All reviews are my own honest opinion and I never have been asked to write copy for a brand. My skin type and concerns: Oily, aging, blemish prone, pores, hyper-pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles.
11 Huesday Extra Shiny Cleansing Mist: All-In-One Vitamin Cleansing Mist : This is a COOL PRODUCT. At first, I didn’t know what to expect with this item, but it is really effective and very handy to have! This contains Vitamin Complex 5 (vitamins B3, B5, B6, C and E) that will help brighten and protect your skin. This cleanser also has a cocktail of AHA’s: citric, glycolic, lactic, tartaric and malic acids ~ which helps remove dead skin cells and refines your skin texture ~ but there is no stinging with this cleanser!
This does have surfactant TEA-lauryl sulfate, which can be drying, but with the addition of hydrating glycerin, moisturizing hydrolyzed collagen and gentle surfactant cocamidopropyl betaine, this cleanser is not drying on my oily skin. This has a pH level of a 6, which is pretty great.
This comes in a clear tube to showcase the pretty pink color and its gelly texture! This doesn’t have an added fragrance but it has a slight bitter scent, which I associate with AHA’s. To use, I just spray on my face and massage in. Then I wet my face and use a cleansing brush to cleanse more thoroughly and rinse off. This doesn’t foam up, so don’t expect that ~ now, with my tests, I pick some of my more stubborn makeup to really put a cleanser thru its paces. It did a fairly decent job, just leaving behind a YSL lip stain and Lancome eye crayon. I would say this is a great morning cleanser, post-workout cleanser, light makeup days or after an oil cleansing step. I do really like this pink gem a lot!!
Ingredients: water, butylene glycol, glycerin, TEA-lauryl sulfate, cocamidopropyl betaine, pentylene glycol, sodium chloride, chlorphenesin, gellan gum, calcium lactate, hydrolyzed collagen, disodium EDTA, niacinamide (vit B3), propylene glycol, calcium pantothenate (vit B5), citric acid, sodium asorbyl phosphate (vit C), lactic acid, glycolic acid, pyridoxine HCL (vit B), tocopheryl acetate (vit E), tartaric acid, malic acid, vitis vinifera (grape) fruit extract, saccharum officinarum extract, pyrus malas (apple) fruit extract, vaccinium myrtillus fruit extract, citrus limon (lemon) fruit extract, CI 16185, ethylhexylglycerin, 1,2-hexanediol cosDNA
11Huesday The Vitamin C Activating Serum: This review took a while and when I decided to take photos, the serum had oxidized. That is my fault, as I do not store my Vitamin C’s in a frig ~ as if I do that, I will forget to yank it out of the frig and use it. However, I kept it stored in a dark cabinet but it still oxidized after 11 weeks ~ the product is supposed to be a clear or very faint yellow shade and you can see it is a nice bright orange now.
This was my initial impressions about it over 2 months ago: The Vitamin C Activating Serum contains 15% stabilized vitamin C, 7.5% sodium hyaluronate and 2% arbutin with a pH of around a 5. I am actually good with that pH level, as I do really bad with lower levels with Vitamin C products ~ this also has other ingredients, like vitamin E and licorice, so it contains more brightening and hydrating ingredients. I can tell you this doesn’t sting or burn my skin, no greasy, oily or sticky residue and this doesn’t break out me ~ normally vitamin C products break me out. This also has a fun fruity scent ~ it reminds me of orange chewable vitamins. The packaging is really secure as well ~ the serum is housed in a dark brown bottle and it is shrink-wrapped with a twist off cap. When you are ready to use it, remove the wrapping and replace the cap with the eye drop applicator.
So, did it brighten or lighten hyper-pigmentation for me? No, not really. Did it smooth and refine my skin texture? Yes, I did like this very much and I felt that it really helped with my pores as well. Did I have any reactions to it? I didn’t experience stinging, breakouts or redness, but around the 4 week mark, I did experience some slight peeling around my cheeks, which I am not sure if this product caused it or not. I stopped for a week and then restarted again and I didn’t experience the peeling again while I was using it. It’s a nice little serum, for those who cannot handle a low pH and experience breakouts with vitamin C products
Ingredients: water, butylene glycol, ascorbic acid (15%), sodium hyaluronate (7.5%), potassium hydroxide, alcohol, arbutin (2%), 1,2-hexanediol, polyquaternium-51, PEG-60 hydrogenated castor oil, xanthan gum, dipotassium glycyrrhizate, allantoin, fragrance, tocopheryl acetate, caramel cosDNA
Finally, my favorite product of the trio ~The T Signature Face Oil made with 17% unrefined, cold-pressed tamanu oil. Tamanu oil is extracted from the nuts of the Ati tree and has an aromatic, pungent scent. This oil helps heal skin by speeding up wound healing and encouraging new skin cell formations and new tissue. It is not only an anti-bacterial, it is an antioxidant, antibiotic and anti-inflammatory. This also has 6 additional botanical oils in here
- Grapeseed: light, easily absorbed, rich in vitamins C, D and E, beta carotene, essential fatty acids ~ reduction and prevention of wrinkles.
- Sweet almond: dense with nutrients, light texture, mimics the natural oils in our skin, rich in fatty acids, vitamins A, B and E; soothes sensitive and irritated skin, repairs and leaves a silky finish
- Amaranth seed: Known as the “Treasure of Inca”, naturally contains squalane to deeply hydrate and moisturize your skin, while providing antioxidant benefits, protecting and regenerating
- Camellia japonica: powerful antioxidant, anti-aging oil, protects skin from damaging UV rays, environmental damages, resulting in radiant, glowing skin
- Safflower: contains oleic and linoleic acids, helping protect and moisture your skin along with anti-inflammatory benefits ~ protecting your skin from high level of toxins and bacteria
- Oat Kernel: rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants, it restores normal pH in skin, soothes itchy and irritated skin, been used against itchy and irritated skin
Tamanu oil does have an earthy rich and pungent scent that not everyone will like, but I love the scent! I have used other tamanu oils and one of my issues with them was that they were very heavy and dense on my skin, making it difficult to use for daytime use. 11Huesday version is actually a lot more lightweight than I expected! It’s not as thick as the past tamanu oils I have used and you can see on the hand swatch how runny it is. It absorbs really quickly into my skin as well, leaving no sticky residue
I found immediate results with this oil overnight, btw. I had a rash/sore on my chin from where a pimple had been and I applied the oil on it. The next morning, the redness was gone and it was basically healed at that point. I am able to use this during the day as well on my blemish prone areas.
This oil is very versatile as it isn’t just for blemishes, but rashes, sores and irritated skin. This is the perfect balance of a healing oil that provides relief and moisturization to my oily dehydrated skin without making my skin look greasy. I totally recommend this oil for those who suffer from sensitive, irritated or have an unbalanced skin type
