I had been debating whether to purchase this one or not, as I don’t care for a couple of the items here, but in the end, my love for cleansers won out!  This month’s Target Beauty Box was $10.00 and it is still for sale too ~ click here to order.  These boxes actually went on sale before the end of January, so I do hope this means that Target will follow this schedule going forward.  Normally, the Target Beauty Boxes do not really have a “theme” other than “must-have, beauty finds, blah blah”, but surprisingly enough, this one did.

Target Beauty Boxes always come with a coupon that you can use in store or online.  This one expires at the end of the month ~ but if they sell March’s box before the end of the month, that means you can use it.

Schwarzkopf  Gliss Ultimate Repair Shampoo  Schwarzkopf  means black head in German! haha I think they meant it as in non-gray hair or something.  I have used their shampoos and conditioners before and they are okay.  The Gliss line is for extremely damaged hair, which I do not have, but I do color my hair every 3 weeks (I do not have a schwarzkopf) and this will come in handy at that time.  According to Schawarzkopf, this line will help rebuild your hair structure and you will experience 95% less hair breakage, with more shine.  Deluxe Size 1.7 oz RV 70 cents

L’Oréal Paris Pure-Clay Masks  Well, the good news is that Target included all 3 types of the L’Oreal pure clay masks.  The bad news is that I do not like the scent of these masks ~ I own the full size versions and dislike the heavy perfume-floral scent.  They work well enough and this does get rave reviews, so if you haven’t tried them and you don’t mind the perfume scents, give these a try.

Masque Bar by Look Beauty Hydrating Peel Off Mask  Well, you know I love masks!  I am happy to see this one in here, but it does contain alcohol ~ peel off masks usually do contain alcohol in it, so don’t be surprised that this will smell like alcohol.  I do love a good peel off mask ~ I find they really suck dirt out of my pores and it is both fascinating and perverse to see my skin’s texture on the mask after I peel it off…  lol  The photo shows it to be a white peel off mask, but I don’t know if that is the case ~ but if it is, I will review it on IG with a selfie!  If it is clear, nah ~ a clear mask doesn’t show you anything other than it is clear!  This is supposed to be a hydrating mask while soothing your skin with cucumber extracts.   It has aloe, collagen and vitamin E, along with ginseng extracts, for helping to moisturize and add some anti-aging and antioxidant benefits to your skin.   Oh and this is made in Korea too!  RV $3.49

Sun Bum Sunless Self-Tanning Towelette  Yeah, no. I do not do fake tans well at all. I never got the hang of it  ~ the most I will do now is those lotions for your body that will give a slight color to my legs and arms in the summertime.  For those who know how to use these with success, this is a nice one as it is paraben and gluten free, vegan and cruelty free.  This has a coconut-tropical scent to it and remember, these do not contain sunscreen, so always wear one, even with a fake tan!  1 Wipe RV $3.20

W3LL PEOPLE Expressionist Pro Mascara  I do love W3LL People products ~ this is an eco-friendly and natural brand that I was introduced to via Birchbox. I am glad to see that they are now available at Target!  If you are looking for a natural mascara that does not have harsh chemicals or dyes, you cannot go wrong with this one. It has a clump resistant wand that will lift and separate lashes and it contains castor oil, a nutrient rich ingredient that will help strengthen your lashes. Raw Sugar Raw Coconut and Mango Body Wash  This was one of the main items on why I purchased this box ~ I am a body wash junkie and if you put the words coconut and mango (heck, any tropical fruit) together, I will be all over this.  This smells amazing ~ coconutty with a hint of mango and it foams up nicely, without stripping my skin.  It is made with cold pressed extracts and many of their ingredients are certified organic ~ this product contains no sulfates, phthalates, dyes or parabens and it is cruelty-free.  I will be purchasing the full size bottle as this is so inexpensive AND  it is eco-friendly ~ 25% of their bottle material is made from post-consumer recycled materials and on their full sized bottle, their caps are made from sustainably-sourced natural bamboo. Soap and Glory Face Soap and Clarity Face Wash  This was another product I really wanted to try ~ it is a purifying, clarifying and non drying facial wash that is made with vitamin C powerhouse yuzu extracts and little beads that will help polish your skin.  It has an amazing scent ~ mint, lemongrass, chamomile, citrus and it is made without parabens.  This is going into my shower caddy today!  It is very inexpensive too, so I cannot wait to give this a try.  I did do a quick pH test on it and it is between 5.5 and 6. Final Thoughts

I actually thought I was not going to like this box, but I found that I use most of the items in here and some of them, happily so!  The Coconut & Mango Body Wash, Soap & Glory Facial Cleanser and the W3LL People mascara make this box just fantastic ~ the mascara is worth more than the total price of the box!  I am looking forward to using the peel off mask from Masque Bar and I will use the shampoo and conditioner.  The only two items that I won’t use are the tanning towel and L’Oreal clay masks ~ I own the full size clay masks, so I will just put these samples in a giveaway ~ there is enough there for about 6 treatments.   I paid $10.00 + tax, but I used my Target Redcard, so I got 5% off (makes up for the tax) and I received a value of almost $29.00, which is almost 3 times the purchase price.  I am actually enjoying my Target Beauty Boxes as I am finding some GREAT deals with some items ~ I loved the lemon clarifying treatment in last month’s box and in this month’s box, the body wash and maybe the facial cleanser will be a haul for the full sizes!  Look for that on my IG account! lol  You can still purchase this box at Target ~ click here to order.
