This oil is used with Abhyanga ~ the anointing of your body with herb-infused, warm oil. You massage this oil on your entire body to help maintain health and has therapeutic benefits. This oil is good for all body constitutions and if you are interested in knowing your current body constitution, take the quiz here to determine your Vikriti (current state of balance). There are three main doshas/forces: Vata ~ Space & Air, Pitta ~ Fire & Water and Kapha ~ Water & Earth. I am a hybrid of two doshas ~ Pitta and Kapha are my dominate forces.

I know, I got a bit sidetracked with this as I started reading Banyan’s site. This is very interesting as it is fairly new information for me and it does tie back to the oil ~ as I stated, this oil can be used with all doshas but you can purchase oils specifically for each dosha as well. I suffer from chronic pain, so I am really interested in doing a self-massage ~ plus this smells wonderfully lemony-herbal. Kensington Apothecary Skin Serum #5 Antioxidant Boost WOW. This was one of the spoilers last month and I am pretty happy to have this serum. I am currently using a serum now (just opened), but this will be next on my list. Despite the rose on the box, this does not contain rose extracts 🙂 This is made with mango hydrosol and extracts, which contains B Vitamins and AHA’s ~ to help slow down the aging process, combat free radicals that cause damage to your skin and helps aid in sloughing off dead skin cells. This is one fantastic month from Yogi Surprise!! I love love the items in here ~ massage oil, serum, yoga strap and book, the amazing candle and the TRUFFLES!! The fruit & veggie wipe is really cool and I did break down and order the starter kit as I see these coming in very handy when having to eat on the run.
