With wearing masks a still a HUGE thing, I am still a firm believer that lip tints need to be in everyone lip junkie’s makeup kit. Seriously, if you haven’t tried lip tints, what are you waiting for? As I love matte lippies, I wanted a creamy matte lip tint that wouldn’t crack or separate, dry out my lips and I wanted it to be pretty much budge-proof. Last year, I reviewed Moonshot Cream Paint Tintfit in #504 Another Red and it really was a dream come true. I knew I wanted to try more, and #505 Orange Caramel is the perfect Pumpkin Spice lippie for this fall. Jolse, a premier online Korean Beauty shop, they sent me this for review purposes.
I received some of these products complementary to review and was not paid. All reviews are my own honest opinion and I never have been asked to write copy for a brand. My skin type and concerns: doesn’t really pertain to this review
If you read my previous review on Moonshot’s Cream Paint Tintfit, this will sound repetitive, only because nothing has changed with this product ~ This lip tint comes in a sleek black tube, except at the bottom of the tube, where the color shows through. Moonshot is printed on one side and Cream Paint Tintfit is on the other side. It looks very classy and more expensive than it is. The applicator is a nice doe foot applicator and it picks up enough product to provide full coverage with one swipe across the lips. #505 Orange Caramel is opaque, deeply pigmented and a muted orange-brick shade. Bonus: No nasty taste, like some other lip tints I will not mention!
The tint is very lightweight and has that whipped chiffon texture that I have come to love with creamy lip tints. It does have a creamy finish but instantly dries down to a nice semi-matte but it isn’t dry or cakey ~ it keeps its nice creamy consistency even when dry. It is great to use for a blurring effect as well, as it still is quite pigmented ~ to do a blurring effect, either use your finger to dab the product on instead of the doe applicator or use a makeup brush to pick off and blur it after you apply it on your lips.
Moonshot Cream Paint Tintfit works FANTASTIC under face masks ~ just make sure your tint is dry before putting on your mask. During the hot months, it barely transferred and during the cool weather, it doesn’t transfer at all onto the mask. Smudging on the actual lips is barely nonexistent.
Moonshot Cream Paint Tintfit comes in 5 long lasting shades
- 501 Bloom Peach: Enriched vibrant peach coral
- 502 Fire Coral: Red coral
- 503 Hazel Rose: Deep dried rose
- 504 Another Red: Orange Red
- 505 Orange Caramel: Brown Orange

That’s exactly the kind of colour you like best, isn’t it?
While I like the idea of lip tints, mine are always dehydrated and need to be slathered in something at all times. Do you have any recommendations for really moisturising ones? They don’t have to be death proof.

hmm, one that I tried recently was nice – 𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝘂𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘁 – it had a glossy finish, so it was moisturizing. Since it is glossy, you can put a lip balm under it as well. My review is here on IG https://www.instagram.com/p/CUMIWXlrIqd/
