Wishtrend is one of the main retailers that carry the brand I’m From and I really love this Korean Brand . Their latest products use Pears and I’m From created two products in this line ~ Pear Serum and Pear Soothing Pads. I received both of these products for review purposes from Wishtrend.

The I’m From Pear line is not made with pears like you would find in Western markets, but Pyrus Ussuriensis and Pyrus Pyrifolia (Chinese Pear) ~ the latter is quite a favorite of mine and is also called apple pear ~ round, with a golden skin, crisp watery flesh inside, it is refreshing and full of dietary fiber, potassium, vitamin C and copper. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant, helping to repair skin and even out the skin tone. Both Pyrus’ contain luteolin, which can prevent and/or reverse signs of photo-aging as well as speeding up wound healing. Both products contain hydrating, skin softening glycerin and allantoin. I’m From Pear Serum contains 83% of wild pear leaves (Pyrus Ussuriensis) and 0.1% of Chinese pear fruit extracts. This also has sugarcane extract, which is a natural source of AHA glycolic acid, so it could have some mild exfoliating benefits. Panthenol and sodium hyaluronate are humectants, that not only attract water to the skin, it will bind moisture to the skin as well.

The serum looks so golden in the bottle and has watery, light texture ~ little or no scent. The serum absorbs very quickly, with no sticky residue and no irritation.
If you are looking for a light weight watery serum, that is both vegan and cruelty free and for sensitive skin, this might be for you. It is a solid hydrating serum
I’m From Pear Soothing Pads contain 75% of Chinese pear fruit extract along with a trio of varying molecular weight and plant based hyaluronic acids ~ sodium hyaluronate, hyaluronic acid, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid ~ so the essence of these pads can hydrate both the upper layer of skin and penetrate deeper. Arbutin breaks down into hydroquinone, a compound that prevents melanin formation and this is a common ingredient in skin-lightening products.

The pads are a good 2 1/2 inches and are made from eco-pure, unbleached cotton, so you can see the bits of cotton fibers in these gauze-like pads. 
One side is more textured while the other side is a bit more smooth and these have a nice pH level of 5. These are really hydrating! I like to use them as pad points around my face, so I slap them on where I need some extra moisture and soothing care. These feel very cooling and refreshing on my skin. Out of the two I’m From Pear products, this one is my favorite. I wish they would bottle the essence in this product and make a toner from it!
