Ohhh the folks at Nourish Beauty Box must be impatient for Spring, as this month, it is all about colors!! Nourish Beauty Box is an eco-friendly and organic products with some bold makeup items as well as skincare! I have basically given up on Sephora and Birchbox for now ~ this is 3 times the cost as those boxes, but I find I am more happy with the curation of this box.
Nourish Beauty Box will contain four full sized eco-friendly, vegan, paraben free, cruelty free and organic bio-natural skincare and makeup products monthly. They believe in providing customers with skin-loving, conscious, wholesome, artisanal, and sustainable products. Three of the brands are mainstays in the box ~ Nourish Nails (house brand for nailpolish), Peony Cosmetics and Seraphine Botanicals. The boxes start out at $29.95 and can be as low as $26.65/monthly for a 6 month subscription. I recommend for USA addresses to use this link here for the $29.95 as it includes shipping. For International readers, use this link instead, as it is less expensive that on their main site ~ free International shipping at $34.95/monthly. I am not sure why they have two different price settings, but hey, you save a couple of dollars using that alternate link.

Seraphine Botanicals Goji + Galaxy Ethereal Glow Palette I wasn’t sure how I was going to like this palette as it is creams ~ I prefer my highlighters to be powders, but after swatching this, I discovered I really like it! I have a Huda Beauty Winter Palette that I can use to set these colors too, as that a powder highlighter. This contains four shades that look totally different in the pan. My photos do not do these colors justice, but they are prismatic shades, with a depth and shimmer that I cannot capture properly. Frozen (Icy Prismatic Frost) is an icy blue-lavender, Andromeda (Lightstruck Pink) is lovely pink shade, Crystalline (Pearlescent Gold) is a golden peach and Shard (Strobed Platinum) is an icy white silver. Crystalline and Shard have a thicker cream texture than Frozen and Andromeda, which are lighter. These are creams, so a heavy application will wear off, but the residue of shimmer and light does remain on the skin. I purposely took a photo where the lighting would be darker, so you could see the colors a bit more clearly.
I used my fingers to swatch, but I recommend using a brush for these radiant creams. These creams are very easy to blend and have a vegan 100% plant cream base. It contains no mineral oils, gluten, parabens, phthalates and has goji berry extracts, which makes this makeup good for your skin! Goji berries are full of antioxidants, vitamin C, minerals, amino acids and will help aid in the production of collagen and firm your skin. This also has other nourishing ingredients, such as cocoa butter, evening primrose and grape seed oils, vitamin E and lavender oils. Swatches are after the Lip Gloss. 14 grams RV $55.00

Peony Cosmetics Lip Succulent in Juicy Lip Stain Continuing on with our spring colors, this is a lovely sheer gloss that can be built up in its bright berry shade. It smells fruity and it has a slightly sticky texture, but it is so moist and hydrating. This is a great gloss for when you are trying to look pulled together but don’t have a lot of time! It adds just enough color and the high shine makes my lips look fuller. This is gloss, so on me, it isn’t long lasting, but I love color anyway ~ it contains safflower seed oil, an ancient medicinal remedy and contains oleic and linoleic acids, helping protect and moisture your lips. 2 grams RV $18.00
Ingredients: ethylhexyl palmitate**, ceresin, isononyl isononanoate, butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter*, caprylic/capric triglyceride*, microcrystalline wax (cera microcristallina)**, euphorbia cerifera (candelilla) wax*, silica**, carthamus tinctorius (safflower) seed oil*, camellia sinensis (green tea) leaf extract*, sorbic acid (acidum sorbicum)** [+/- (may contain) titanium dioxide (CI 77891), D&C red no. 7 ca lake (CI 15850), D&C red no. 27 al lake (CI 145410), iron oxide red (CI 77491)] *Vegetable Derived ** Natural

Nourish Nails in Reach Out Every month, Nourish Beauty Box will include one of their own products ~ Nourish Nails Polish. Nourish Nails is an eco-friendly, vegan and natural water-based nail polish, formulated free of formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, formaldehyde resin, parabens, xylene, camphor, mineral oil, phthalates, sodium lauryl sulfates, gluten, phenoxyethanol, lead, nitrocellulose, GMOs and animal-derived ingredients. One of the down sides with water based nail polishes is that they tend to peel off my nails quickly. I usually use both a base coat and top coat to handle that, but they do not last as long as other polishes. I normally use water based polishes on my fingers, because I am a nail polish peeler and my manicures usually do not last that long normally. I do not recommend water based nail polish for your toe nails.
Sorry for the pops and bubbles but I didn’t clean off my polish wheel and there was some dust on it. It really is a smooth polish, no bumps or anything. This color is a metallic raspberry and is so fun for spring and summer! 15 mL RV $12.50
Description: The ultimate, ultra gentle nail varnish formulation with a revolutionary water-based resin that creates a high shine coating that is both air and water permeable. This allows for oxygen and water to reach the nail bed to help nails stay healthy, stronger and to help reduce discoloration. The unique nourishing formulation provides a super high-shine coat, long-lasting color and a fast-drying finish.

Final Thoughts
These colors may not be my normal choice, but I like them well enough that I will wear them ~ I can wear brights and these brights are not neon. I can wear these colors to work and no one will blink an eye! I do love the hydrosol too ~ I look forward to seeing what guest brand will be in Nourish Beauty Boxes! I paid $29.95 and received a retail value of $100.50. Now, I mentioned it before but I will say it again ~ This box is a bit more expensive than other beauty boxes, but it contains all full sized products and the quality is amazing. Sometimes, it isn’t about quantity, but quality and I also love that these items are items I haven’t received before in a sub box. I believe this month’s box is still available here They do not have coupon or promo codes, alas, but I think that if you are looking for organic, eco-friendly products, I think this might be the box for you.
