What’s In Your Aroma Box?
All of the essential oils, unless otherwise noted, have a screw top lid and there is a plastic lid inside that has a tube, so that you don’t spill out all of your oil if you drop the bottle (and it doesn’t break). I also like that the oils are in dark cobalt blue glass bottles to help protect them from UV rays and light.
Nutmeg (myristica fragrans) Pure Essential Oil Nutmeg is used to help with aches and pains and its warm scent also helps with your emotions and gives a feeling of self love and commitment. The scent straight up from the bottle is more dank and earthy, but once I put it in a diffuser, it does smell more like the spice that I remember. Description: This citrus oil comes from the peel of a small, pear-shaped Italian fruit, which was named after the town of Bergamo in Italy. Used as a flavoring agent in Earl Grey tea. Herb Stop also included an “Meditation & Prayer Blend” recipe which uses all of the oils in this month’s box. Use 30 drops bergamot, 7 drops nutmeg, 5 drops fir balsam. Optional are 10 drops lavender and 8 drops frankincense. Blend all the oils together in a glass bottle and shake well. Add 5 drops of your blend to a hot bowl of water just prior to your practice and place near your place of meditation and prayer ~ or anytime you just need to relax. This is a great box for me ~ two citrus scents, one woodsy, pine scent and another spice scent ~ three of my favorite scent types. I really love the roll-on and I am also more and more impressed with Herb Stop’s commiment to adding more information on their website as well as giving me the wonderful info card each month. I paid $19.99 for this and received a value of over $34.00, which included a custom blend recipe roll on. Please note, essentials oils are not to replace seeing a doctor if you have serious ailments or issues. However, aromatherapy, scents and herbal tinctures/oils have been used for centuries with great success. I would never state that this should replace seeing your doctor, but if you know your body and you have discussed this with your doctor, you should be able to use essential oils for minor treatments.
