Last month, we only got a theme as the spoiler for December’s Peaches & Petals box, which is Jingle & Mingle. Peaches & Petals is a subscription service that is focused on lifestyle and beauty products. Subscription boxes are usually basing their value on Retail Value, not Markdown or Sale Values. With that in mind, you can usually find products for less, just like anything else in the marketplace.

Westinghouse Wax Free Fragrance Warmer & Fragrance Disks This is really nice! I have wax warmers and yes, they can get messy and I worry about burning with the hot plate. This uses fragrance disks, instead of wax, allowing you to enjoy the aroma without the messy cleanup afterwards. It has a little plate on the bottom of the unit and all you do is remove it from the warmer, place the non-toxic disk on top of the warmer and insert back into the unit. Plug in and instant aromatherapy! Plus this has a little LED light that fliers, so it gives off a nice ambiance.

The warmer I received in is a dark charcoal grey with a fleur-de-lis embossed on the surface, measuring about 4 x 4 inches. This warmer was a variation, so yours might look different. I love grey, so I am very pleased with this. I do really like this a lot ~ I have lots of candles but there are times when I want an item that doesn’t actually burn ~ if I am having a party, I don’t want to worry if someone is going to knock over a candle and cause a mess or worse. Manna Kadar Lip Locked Priming Gloss Stain in Lucky Manna Kadar is a celebrity makeup artist that created her own line of fun and wearable cosmetics. This is very pretty nude petal pink shade with a doe foot applicator and it is very glossy ~ but it does leave behind a stain if it wears off. This stain is a lip primer, gloss and stain and the color is very pigmented. Since this has a built-in primer, it is supposed to last for hours on your lips.. This has vitamin E, along with aloe extracts, which will keep your lips moisturized and nourished. I love the stain more than the glossy look, so to achieve that, I will just blot the gloss and have a beautiful satin stain left behind. If you want a matte finish, just take some finishing powder and gently apply over the gloss. Full Size .18 oz RV $24.00

Sourcebooks 2017 Keep Calm and Color On Calendar This is really fun! This is a daily, tear-off page desk calendar and each day as a part of a design that you can easily color in. Sometimes when I am on the phone at work, I doodle (who doesn’t?) and this is another way to channel my doodling by coloring in these mandala inspired designs. Very cool idea and I will have to get some nice color pencils for this. RV $14.99 (but you can purchase this at lower prices)

Winebottle Ugly Christmas Sweater & Hat When I first opened my box and saw this ~ I thought, what, a sweater for a chihuahua? And it is ugly! haha Nope, this is a sweater for your wine bottles and in my case, beer bottles!! I didn’t have any wine hanging around, so I used one of my taller beer bottles to show how it looks all dressed up. This is a conversation piece, that is for sure! Just slip on the sweater over the bottle and place the hat on the top. RV $6.50

Faux Gemstone Earrings This was my “Surprise Jingle-Y and Mingle-Y Item” and I have to say I LOVE THESE! Yes, they are faux and mass produced, but they have an artisan crafted look about them. These fake gems have a huge faceted citrine as the focal point and then it is surrounded by a light blue Swiss topaz,a deep London Blue topaz, abalone shell, marcasite, a clear gem and back to London Blue topaz. These have a drop of a little over 1 inch on a silver-tone metal. If you have short hair, the backs of these are finished off very nicely ~ it has a “bark” texture that has been oxidized. RV $7.00

I wasn’t sure about the Jingle & Mingle theme, but I have to say I really enjoyed this month’s box. I love my fragrance warmer and the lip gloss, the coloring calendar is really a cool idea and those earrings are fantastic! They might be cheapo earrings, but I love the colors and design. Even the ugly wine bottle sweater will get a few laughs this season. Great job this month! Peaches & Petals monthly subscription boxes are $19.99 a month and that includes shipping.
