This month’s theme is “Grateful Yogi” ~ There’s infinite power in saying “Thank you”. The seasonal colors that Mother Nature paints on every leaf, fruit and vegetable during the fall season serve as gentle reminders of the beauty of what we already have and the simplicity of what truly brings us joy. This month, we encourage you to express and share your sense of gratitude by adorning yourself in bright fall colors like vibrant reds and luminous oranges. From the growth you’ve undoubtedly experienced as you’ve adapted your yoga practice, to the future challenges that will take your practice above and beyond, never pass up the opportunity to say a little “thank you” out loud or just quietly to yourself. Those two words can absolutely make any moment seem beautiful

Yew Wood & Fire Agate “Gratitude” Necklace This was the spoiler and I fell in love with it when I saw it last month. This is perfect for fall and winter and I think it would look stunning against a black turtleneck sweater. This has a 28 inch, lobster claw clasp chain in an antiqued bronze-toned metal and then a linear pendant dangles. This pendant has 3 yew wood beads and 3 fire agate beads, alternating for a length of about 3 1/2 inches. This is so simple and elegant, but I think it makes a statement with the warm orange-brown yew wood and the deep red agates. RV $75.00
Sacred Yew Wood The Yew tree is a long living tree, some have been recorded to over 4000 years old. It is associated with immortality, birth, renewal, regeneration, transformation and provides access to the beyond and our ancestors. It protects us from evil, provides dreams and is a symbol of the old magic. The yew tree is used to provide us understanding that there are other levels of existence beyond this life ~ it helps live our lives more fully and with social conscious. Death is a transformation and it is part of a never ending cycle as we are reborn, regenerated, elevated to the next plane of existence. It was sacred to many cultures, such as Romans, Druids, Celts, Greeks and North American Natives.
Fire Agate ~ Chakras: Root/Base (brown & red shades) ~ Sacral/Second (gold & orange shades) ~ Heart (green shades) Known as the spiritual flame of absolute perfection, it was believed to contain the essence of fire. It is a stone of creativity, expression, integrity and promotes inner stability and maturity, self-confidence, due to its warm, protective properties. It will help stop the desire for things we do not need. Fire agates have a deep connection to the earth and brings a grounding energy, calms, promotes security and trust. It helps eliminate and transform negative energy, by stabilizing your aura. Learn more at Crystal Vaults
Yew Wood & Fire Agate “Gratitude” Bracelet WOW! A matching bracelet ~ I love it! This is also made with Yew Wood ~ 11 beads on the “underside” of the bracelet and 8 Fire Agate beads on the top, separated with antique bronze beaded spacers. This also has a beautiful antique bronze charm, with the Tree of Life carved into it. Just stunning! This bracelet is about 6 3/4 to 7 inches stretched, so whereas it isn’t loose on my wrist, it isn’t super tight either. RV $45.00
Tree of Life “You are a child of the Universe… You have the right to exist.. You have the responsibility to grow to be yourself… The meaning of the Tree of Life as a spiritual symbol is well known and, like the tree itself, many branched and deeply rooted. Here, the Tree of Life meaning tells us that although we are rooted in the Earth plane, we are reaching for the Spiritual Realms. Here we are each alone… there we are one.” From (and learn more at) Old Earth

This is a beautiful box and I am grateful for it ~ see what I did there? haha. No, seriously, the Gratitude Yogi theme is beautiful and I love my necklace with its matching bracelet ~ I believe the last time YogiSurprise did a matching set was a year ago with a beautiful rosewood/moonstone collection. I am totally digging the apple pie chocolate and thankfully, I do have some willpower NOT to subscribe to First Nibs. Chocolate goes to my hips.. and my butt, thighs, arms, boobs, cheeks, neck ~ everywhere! It isn’t easy being a chocoholic and having chocolate loving you back so much it never wants to leave! I paid $22.00 for this box and received a RV of $130.00. And once again, I honestly do not go by their retail value as I highly doubt the necklace is $75.00 ~ I go by is this box worth the 22.00 I paid for it ~ and if so, then I am happy with it. And this month, I am VERY happy with the jewelry and it is worth the money I spent on it. I also know that part of the proceeds from this box will go back to the local artisans that made these items and help educate their community.
