What’s In Your Aroma Box?

All of the essential oils, unless otherwise noted, have a screw top lid and there is a plastic lid inside that has a tube, so that you don’t spill out all of your oil if you drop the bottle (and it doesn’t break).  I also like that the oils are in dark cobalt blue glass bottles to help protect them from UV rays and light.

Cinnamon (cinnamomum zeylanicum) Leaf  Pure Essential Oil   I love the scent of cinnamon but have never had in an oil before and let me tell you, it is quite a difference experience!  Undiluted, it is a strong spice scent that really doesn’t smell like cinnamon buns!  This is a very strong, warm scent that smells better when I put a drop or two, blending it with vanilla, in my diffuser ~ I am just not used to pure cinnamon oil, I guess! Description: Traditionally used as antiseptic, analgesic, warming, stimulating for the circulatory system, relieving menstrual cramps. May be helpful for weakness and debility. Emotionally, cinnamon may warm the heart, encouraging clearer expression of our innermost feelings. The smell of cinnamon from candles containing the essential oil gives a room a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Juniper (juniperus communis) Essential Pure Essential Oil   Okay, now this smells like the piney scent of juniper. When I was a kid, we had juniper bushes in the front of our home and I would pick the branches with the blue-grey berries to make winter time garlands.  According to Herb Stop, juniper mixed with cypress oil and then added into your lotion makes a great product to help reduce the appearance of cellulite  It also helps with supporting healthy blood sugar levels as it has historical uses in treating obesity, overeating and gout.  Mix juniper with a lotion and rub on the bottoms of your feet before bed, if you have eaten too much earlier.  5 mL RV $6.50

Gluco Stability Roll On This product was developed by one of Herb Stop’s students for her mother as she had intense sugar cravings and is per-diabetic. Blend the essential oils in a glass bottle.
