This is my second review with some products that I received from BB Cosmetic. You can read my original introductory post here and also my review on The Face Shop My Other Bag CC Cushion here. I had mentioned to Chloe, my BB Cosmetic Blogger contact, that my most problem area was my eye area ~ I have wrinkles and concerns with hyper-pigmentation too and that I have oily skin as well. Chloe sent me a couple of eye mask products plus a brand new Etude House mask from their Air Therapy series.
I love eye masks ~ I have a variety of them because just like facial sheet masks, there are different types for different needs and issues. I haven’t found one eye mask that does it all ~ I have eye masks that help depuff, soothe and cool my eye area, I have ones that are an instant eye lift and brightener and ones that deeply moisturizer while softening fine lines and wrinkles.
Elizavecca Goggle Eye Masks are made with donkey milk and collagen, which will help moisturize, while softening wrinkles and brighten your under eye area. The packaging is adorable with the Elizavecca piggy wearing a snorkel set.
This contains some very moisturizing humectants of glycerin and sodium hyaluronate, along with skin brightening ingredients of niacinamide and licorice (dipotassium glycyrrhizate). There are some good anti-inflammatory ingredients ~ adenosine, which is yeast derived, and allantoin, which will also smooth, remove dead skin cells and moisturize. Betaine and pantenol are superb moisturizers and skin softeners while collagen will repair your skin, help firm and tone your skin. This also has donkey milk, a fantastic ingredient for those with sensitive skin, contains Vitamins A, B, D, C and E and is also rich in proteins, while moisturizing your skin.

I am still puzzled why this mask package is SO HUGE when the mask itself is about a third of the size of the package. The bio-cellulose mask comes sandwiched between a thin paper and a plastic paper protector. This mask is super duper thin, very easy to mess up and fold on itself. There is a slight chemical scent, but it is very faint and not bothersome. Now, I know on BB Cosmetic’s site, they say to keep it on for TWO hours, but no, the back of the mask states 10 to 20 minutes.
The first time I used these eye gels, I really MESSED up the placement of the mask and I also took the excess serum, of which there is a lot of, and placed it on my face. That was a mistake. The serum is very dense, sticky and really moisturizing. Collagen and my skin have a love-hate relationship. I can spot treat areas that need collagen, like around my eyes, but keep that stuff away from my pores. Collagen makes my pores large and gross looking. Needless to say, my first attempt was not a positive one.
However, I had 4 more of these masks, and decided to try it again. I first applied some astringent toner around my nose area, where I knew the mask was going to touch down and reek havoc on my pores. I was trying to make sure that collagen was going to have a hard time getting into my pores, if I tightened them up a bit before applying the mask. Since I knew what to expect now with the mask, I was able to cleanly pull it away and place it on my face. I did not apply the excess serum on my face, but instead decanted it into a little container. See how much there is in there? I kept this in the fridge and used it nightly around my eyes for a deep moisturizing overnight treatment.
Since I didn’t put the excess serum on my face and I pre-treated my pore area with an astringent, I had much better results with this mask. I noticed a great improvement around my eyes and the fine lines and wrinkles were very much softened and more plumped up. I also think that that the added bonus of the extra serum to use as a night treatment gives my skin a much needed nourishment for that area. I will say this is a pretty sticky mask, so plan on using it about an hour before you go to bed, so you can give it time to absorb.
These do have those eye flaps, which I never use. I cannot relax that much ~ ahaha
Not only did I receive these Elizavecca Goggle Eye patches ~ which I had been looking at for a long time ~ but a full tub of Berrisom Placenta Firming Hydro Gel Eye Patch ~ this is a tub with 60 eye patches ~ good for at least one month (if you do use them daily). These are made with animal placenta, in case you wanted to know if it was plant or mammal. So, now you know ~ I don’t have issues with it, so I used these golden dew drops of intense moisturizing goodness.
These are beautiful, aren’t they? The essence and the hydrogel do make these slippy little suckers, but there is a spatula that helps me flip them out of the container. They are gold sparkling translucent hydro-gels and every time I wear them, I feel like I need a matching mask or something!
This ingredient list is to die for. It not only has the placental protein, which aids in cellular regeneration, but super foods and veggie extracts, full of antioxidant and moisturizing properties ~ broccoli, tomato, cabbage. There is also adenosine for wrinkle care and collagen, which helps firm and repair your skin. Berry extracts ~ more antioxidants, to help combat free radicals, tighten your skin, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, reduce hyper pigmentation and ward off aging signs: raspberry, cranberry and cherry. More humectants to help attract moisture and lock it into your skin: glycerin and sodium hyaluronate, while aloe vera is a moisture bomb, with vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids, salicylic acid and much more. Acer saccharum is a natural AHA and will help remove dead skin cells, revealing new and revitalized skin. There is also anti-inflammatory ingredients in centella asiatica and allantoin while arbutin helps with skin brightening, for those dark circles.
Ingredients: water, glycerin, chondrus crispus (carrageenan), butylene glycol, betaine, placental protein, camellia japonica flower water, brassica oleracea italica (broccoli) extract, solanum lycopersicum (tomato) fruit extract, brassica oleracea capitata (cabbage) leaf extract, acer saccharum (sugar maple) extract, chamomilla recutita (matricaria) flower extract, hydrolyzed collagen, rubus idaeus (raspberry) fruit extract, vaccinium macrocarpon (cranberry) fruit extract, cornus offincinalis (Japanese cornelian cherry) fruit extract, prunus serotina (wild cherry) fruit extract, punica granatum (pomegranate) fruit extract, camellia sinensis (green tea) leaf extract, ceratonia siliqua (carob ) gum, sodium hyaluronate, centella asiatica extract, arbutin, adenosine, cyamopsis tetragonoloba (guar) gum, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, oenothera biennis (evening primrose) oil, allantoin, calcium chloride, ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, PEG-60 hydrogenated castor oil, fragrance, methylparaben, chlorphenesin, phenoxyethanol, disodium EDTA, mica, tin oxide, iron oxides (CI 77492), titanium dioxide cosDNA analysis
They fit surprisingly well ~ the tear-drop with a sharp hook upwards fits and covers my under eye and crows-feet area fairly well.
These eye gels are amazing! I see results immediately ~ they do soften my fine lines and wrinkles and I do feel they help tighten up the skin area around my eyes. They do not leave a sticky or tacky residue, which means I can use them in the morning as part of my skin care routine. Depending on how much of a rush I am in, I will keep them on for at least 10 minutes up to 30 minutes. I am now trying to use these gels several times a week to see how well they perform.

Etude House .2 Air Therapy Soothing & Purifying Lotus Mask This is a new series for me from Etude House ~ I am familiar with their “I Need You” series, so this will be a great one for me to try.

This mask is great for oily skin, as it contains 2,500ppm of lotus extracts, which are known to help purify and soothe your skin, while moisturizing. It also has beta glucan and sodium hyaluronate, which attract moisture while locking it into your skin. This has anti-inflammatory ingredients, to help soothe and calm your skin ~ licorice and allantoin.
This mask is dripping with essence and it is very thin, but not so thin that it rips easily ~ they are smooth and feel really nice on my skin. These masks are marketed as a daily low-irritant mask made from .2 mm “air sheet” which is breathable and will deliver the lotus essence to your skin effectively. The fit is quite well, just missing out around my nose. This has a warm lotus scent to it.
I was able to wear this mask for 35 minutes without a problem and when I removed it, my face initially felt very moist and sticky, but within a few minutes, the essence has completely absorbed into my skin. My face looked brighter, clearer and less reddened. I wasn’t a huge fan of the “I Need You” series, but I am really liking these .2 Therapy Air Masks from Etude House. I hope BB Cosmetic starts to carry them again ~ it looks like they are currently sold out.

Final Thoughts
I really loved the Berrisom Placenta gels ~ they are a winner in my eyes (pun intended :D) They really did show immediate results and when I see immediate results, I tend to stick with a product to the end. Elizavecca Aqua Goggle Masks are more of a special treatment, only because of the thick essence and the delicate nature of the mask. I can see these masks being used if my skin got really damaged from the sun or wind. I wish they would sell the actual essence in a bottle, however ~ that product is gold and really helps soften my wrinkles. And finally, I am totally floored by how much I like Etude House .2 Air Therapy masks ~ I never have been a huge fan of Etude House, but if the rest of the series is anything like the Lotus mask, these are a winner.
Have you tried any of these items? What did you think of them? I am really interested in the .2 Air Therapy masks ~ any recommendations of which ones I should try?
