The July 2016 theme is “Dance to the Music” and we did get a spoiler last month of one of the items this month!
Chroma Lights Temporary Hair Color Spray in Metallic Teal We could get a variation of the color ~ either metallic teal, metallic red or metallic fuchsia ~ and I am so happy to get teal! Green and blues are my favorite colors, so I am really happy with this. Okay ~ I cannot permanently dye my hair fun and funky colors because of my RL job position, BUT this is cool for me. I can spray this into my hair for the weekends and have some fun ~ and it will be washed out the next morning. I envy those who can color their hair in cool shades ~ but this helps me get over that. You can create streaks of color or just tip the ends of your hair. Yeah, I know some people think it is age inappropriate ~ WHA? Do what makes YOU feel good and happy inside. This product is paraben, sulfate and peroxide free and has a pinpoint applicator so you can really target the area you want to color. 1.5 oz RV $11.00
Description: Step 1: Shake well before use. Apply to dry hair. Hold can 3 to 5 inches away from desired hair section. Step 2: Use back and forth motions for an even application. Step 3: Let dry at least 1 to 2 minutes before touching. Protect clothing before spraying. Hairspray may be applied after application to lock in the color. Color may vary depending on hair color. Made in the USA.
Ingredients: butane, hydrofluorocarbon 152A, ethyl trisiloxane, trimethylsiloxysilicate, methyl trimethicone, fragrance, titanium dioxide (CI 77891), mica, ferric ferrocyanide (CI 77510)
Flower Headband Mine is in a coral shade, and I have seen variations of yellow, blue, purple and red ~ wish I had gotten the blue or purple! But this color isn’t too bad ~ it will clash if I use it with the Chroma Lights!! haha I won’t use this as a headband but a hair band, as I don’t like to have the band across my forehead ~ it will help keep my hair out of my face while I sheet mask. This looks to be made polyester/rayon flowers and leaves, the front of the headband is a brown plaited faux tan leather and the back is a stretchy elastic so it can adjust to fit most heads. There are so many types of headbands like this, so I couldn’t find the exact brand ~ but they do retail around $5.00 to $8.00 and even more, depending on how intricate they are.
Global Beauty Care Makeup Cleansing Wipes in Cucumber I love cleansing wipes and especially so in the summertime. After walking outside to meetings, to my car, or just at lunchtime, I get sweaty and hot. Wipes are fantastic to quickly cool down, cleanse and also hydrate and moisturize your skin. CoolCore The Chill Tube Cooling Towel in Black Ice Another timely product to have! It has been very hot here in the Northeast. Coolcare is a New England company and they have won the prestigious “Innovative Technology” recognition from the Hohenstein Institute for their cooling material. This patented material is made from 3 yarn blends and it is chemical free ~ it will help with wicking~ which helps move sweat away from your body, moisture circulation ~ fast drying time, thus avoiding moisture saturation and regulated evaporation to keep the cooling effect constant. Since it is chemical free, this product will never lose its cooling benefits. Coolcore fabrics have been demonstrated to drop to a cool temperature of 13º – 18º degrees Celsius, or 55º – 65º Fahrenheit. Check out their result page from testing here. To use, just wet the towel, wring it out and wave it to activate ~ to reactivate, repeat the process. It works too!! You can machine wash on warm, tumble dry on low (no bleach or fabric softener) and do not iron. This measures 28″ x 8 ” RV $11.00
About Coolcore: Coolcore, the global leader in thermoregulation fabrics, has partnerships to develop fabrics for consumer brands throughout the world. The patented, chemical-free Coolcore materials deliver three distinct functions — wicking, moisture circulation and regulated evaporation — going far beyond traditional moisture-management textiles by managing thermoregulation and reducing surface fabric temperature up to 30 percent lower than skin temp when moisture is present. Coolcore fabric formulations have earned the prestigious “Innovative Technology” recognition from the Hohenstein Institute, a first for a U.S. company, and the only company globally to be awarded this recognition for “Cooling Power.” Coolcore recently won the award for “Best Innovation – Sports and Outdoor Apparel” for its patented line of cooling fabrics from the ITMA Future Materials Awards. from coolcore
Engraved Song Lyric Bracelet This is a wrap bracelet with a bright turquoise cord ~ and it has a silver tone rectangle with the words “Don’t Stop Believing”…
Ahh, bittersweet memories of HS and college! As someone who grew up right outside of Detroit, everyone would joke about the “Just a city boy.. born and raised in South Detroit” line in the song – they must mean Toledo, OH!! haha
I have to tell you that even though I didn’t find the bracelet information in case you wanted to purchase it, THERE IS A TON OF jewelry out there with this quote! This can be a necklace or a bracelet and it easily wraps around my wrist 4 times as it is almost 27 inches in length with a 3 inch extender. The rectangle measures about 1 1/2 inches by 3/4 inches and is slightly curved. RV $7.00 (??) I have no idea!
BoomBotIX Mini Speaker This was our spoiler and I LOVE IT. It comes with a 3 ft micro USB cable and a rechargeable lithium ion battery. It can be used plugged in or as a wireless speaker ~ if you use it as a wireless, it will run about 6 hours ~ charge time is 1 hour. Mine is in Pacific Blue with is a bright blue shade, and it has clip on the back so you can clip it on your backpack, your pants, purse, whatever. The specs on BoomBotIX has this at 90 dB at 2 feet which is pretty good ~ this is a small (78 x 87 x 39 mm) and lightweight speaker, and you can lay it on any side, as the sides are flat and it won’t tip over. It is not waterproof, but it is okay to use in light rain or snow, as it is covered with a heavy duty rubber. It has 3 buttons on the top ~ 2 for volume control and the other for on/off/control your device (like skipping songs) and on the side, you can find the port, which is covered by the rubber.

This mini speaker is less than 5 ounces and it is pretty shockproof as well, so don’t worry about dropping it! It works with your phone, iPod, tablet and laptop so I am pretty happy about getting this as I hate wearing ear buds. I prefer a speaker and this is pretty cool! RV $39.99
I have to say, this is one fun box this month! There is something for everyone in here ~ whether you want to be a little adventurous with the hair color, be a flower child with the headband or cooling off with wipes and a really fantastic cooling cloth. Bring back or make new memories and don’t stop believing and a really great portable speaker that will go great with my iPhone. Perfect for vacation time!
