Unboxing March 2016 Miss Tutii Bag!

I have been with Miss Tutii since they started their subscription service back in January and this is my 3rd bag with them.  The first one was meh, the second one was fantastic!  I hope this month is as good as last month.  March went out late and I just received it the other day .  What is Miss Tutii?

Delivering you beauty products from around the world each month! We search high and low for the most popular items trending in countries like Korea , Japan , Taiwan , Switzerland and much more! So you’ll be able to discover great quality products at a fraction of the price!

What is up with Switzerland in here?  Since Miss Tutii is described below as an Asian beauty sub service, when did Switzerland become an Asian country?  I am part Swiss, so I am curious about this 😉

They have 3 subscription services:

  1. TUTIIBOX is a Asian beauty subscription service. Every month, we deliver 5 – 6 Full Size or Premium Deluxe Sample beauty products straight to your doorstep.  Monthly package ($25USD/Month), a 6-month package $24USD/Month ($144), and a 12 month package $23USD/Month($276)
  2. TUTIIBAG is a “smaller” version of our TutiiBox, you will get 4-5 Full Size and Deluxe Sample beauty products each month.  Monthly package ($15/month), a 6-month package $14.50($87), and a 12 month package $14($168)
  3. TUTIIMASK is for the mask lovers out there, who loves to try out a variety of masks for a fraction of the price.  There are three different types of subscriptions: a monthly package ($12/month), a 6-month package $11.50($69), and a 12 month package $11($132)

All regular subscriptions are recurring, unless cancelled within the term deadline.  All our products include English Instructions on how to use the items.

I signed up for the Miss Tutii Bag, as I really have so much product, I do not want a ton of full sized items.

Bag Revealed!

Because this month went out late, it looks like they gave us a gift along with the bag contents.

Etude House Real Art No-Wash Cleansing Water I do love cleansing waters (see reviews here) and use them all the time.  They are a great way to quickly remove makeup, dirt or oil from your face.  I do not use them in place of actually washing my face with cleanser, but more like when I just come home from work or after working out.. just to refresh my face.   I am not a huge fan of Etude House skin care products (I sound like a broken record every time I do get an Etude House item!!) but I am always open to trying their products. This does have a strong scent to it ~ I have a stuffy nose right now, and I can really smell it, so I know it is strong.  It freshish scent, so it isn’t that bad.  It has jasmine extract in it, so I am holding off on using this until my nose clears up.  I am allergic to the scent of jasmine so it is hard to tell if this has the floral scent right now.  As Etude House makes the claim of a pH level close to your skin, I did a pH test on it.  It looks like it is around a 5 pH level.

Sample size 25 mL  RV $1.10

Description: This cleansing water has a water-soluble cleansing ingredient that has high affinity with makeup, producing a micro-emulsion reaction to cleanly remove  makeup without stickiness. With pH level similar to that of the skin, gently and mildly works on the skin with a fresh finish without having to rinse off with water. Contains herb flower water (Edelweiss, Jasmine) ingredient for exhausted skin and clean green tea ingredient that provide moisture cleansing for clean and smooth skin

Ingredients: water, PEG-6 caprylic/capric clycerides, camellia sinensis leaf extract, leontopodium alpinum flower/leaf extract, jasminum officinale (jasmine) flower extract, citrus aurantium bergamia (bergamot) fruit extract, citrus aurantium (orange) fruit extract, citrus paradisi (grapefruit) fruit extract, citrus tangerina (tangerine) extract, glycerin,  butylene glycol, propanediol, disodium EDTA, 1,2-hexanediol, glyceryl carprylate, fragrance cosDNA.com analyis

RiRe VVVIC Lip Scrub  I love a good lip scrub and am excited to try this product out.  RiRe has some great lip products so I am hoping this will be good too.  I will note that as I swatched this, this is a very gentle scrub, with micro-beads.  It is not a sugar scrub product and I like those better as a rule.  I would think that this would be good for when your lips are really raw and chapped and a sugar exfoliator might be too harsh.  As I am currently suffering from chapped lips, I am glad to have a gentler lip scrub version.  This has herbal extracts ~ rosemary, lavender, peppermint, chamomile ~ as well as two moisturizing ingredients ~ olive oil and shea butter.  Full size 10 mL RV $12.50 (I know, Korea’s Rose Rose Shop sells this for less than $3.00, but they do not have free shipping…  Amazon sells this for $12.38 and does have free shipping, so I think that Miss Tutii can state that the RV is $12.50

Hard to tell, but you can kinda see the little beads among the creamy white lotion product

Ingredients:  water, lauric acid, glycerin, butylene glycol, cetearyl alcohol, myristic acid, stearic acid, triethanolamine, glyceryl stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, beeswax, polysorbate 60, sorbitan sesquioleate, ceresin, butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), methylparaben, propylparaben, disodium EDTA, lavandula angustifolia (lavender) flower extract, monarda didyma leaf extract, mentha piperita (peppermint) leaf extract, freesia alba flower extract, chamomilla recutita (matricaria) flower/leaf extract, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, fragrance  cosDNA.com analysis

It’s Skin Mini Bebe Creamy Foam Cleanser Banana  It’s Skin Mini Bebe has three types ~ pomegrante, banana and grape and I received the Banana cleanser.  I am not a fan of this cleanser ~ I have tried it out before and I dislike the scent of bananas anyway… SO I am going to take advantage of Miss Tutii’s “swap” program.  Within a calendar year, you can “swap” up to 3 non-sample sized items with them ~ either swap them for product(s) with the same value OR get a store credit for the value of the product. I decided to swap this for 3 facial sheet masks ~ Sally’s Box Secret Garden Lemon Oil,  My Scheming Mermaid Sponge Cucumber and KYL Luffa Moisturizing.   Read more about Miss Tutii’s Swap program here   Full Size 34 g RV $10.00 (Beauteque carries it, along with the other 2 types ~ use MICHELE10 to get 10% off!)

Description: Gently clean your face and hands with It’s Skin Mini BeBe Creamy Foam Banana. A fine and delicate milk-containing protein with enriched cream bubbles are created to help gentle cleansing without irritation. Aloe Vera leaves and green tea extract moisturize after cleaning. Use it for traveling or daily hand washing.

Ingredients: water, stearic acid, lauric acid, sodium lauryl sulfate, glycereth-12, potassium hydroxide, myristic acid, butylene glycol, lauramide DEA, musa sapientum (banana) fruit extract, centella asiatica extract, camillia sinesis leaf extract, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, milk protein extract, tocopheryl acetate, PEG-60 hydrogenated castor oil, polyquaterium-7, disodium EDTA, methylparaben, propylparaben, viola odorata flower/leaf extract  cosDNA.com analysis

Nature SC Egg Sleeping Pack – Moisturizing  How CUTE IS THIS?  This is a little mask pack made with eggs and they have designed it so that it looks like an actual egg with a yolk!  This pack has a built in “spoon” and when you open it, you will mix the two products together before applying on your face.  The clear gel base will provide moisture and hydration to your skin, while the cream base (yolk) will provide nutrients to your skin. You will leave a sleeping pack on overnight and rinse off in the morning.  If I like this, I will purchase (and hopefully get the full ingredient list :D)    One Time Use 4 grams RV $3.00

Description: Nature SC Egg Sleeping Pack moisturizes your skin with egg ingredients while you are sleeping at home. Supplying moisture and nutrition to the skins in a simple easy way. The only product you need to have moisturizing and whitening skin is Egg Sleeping Pack. The gel base contains abundant moisture and cream is full with nutrition from the egg, therefore same result as using real egg to having mask but more effective and convenience. Skin may feel soothed, moisturized and whitening after use. The essence from egg moderately replenish nutrition, sustained accumulation of toxins and metabolic horny aging, eliminate dull and restore luster to improve skin rough, dry cracks and other phenomena.

Key Ingredients: I couldn’t find the full ingredient list as it isn’t even printed on the package, so all I know is that it contains the following, thanks to a partial photo of the ingredients list that I found online:  egg yolk extract (lecithin), egg shell powder (hydrolzed egg shell membrane), arbutin, meadowfoam (limnanthes alba) seed oil, cetyl ethylhexanoate, hydrogenated polydecene, arachidyl glucoside,   glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice) root extract, zingiber officinale (ginger) root extract, schizandra chinensis fruit extract, coptis japonica (barberry) root extract, propolis wax,  caprylyl glycol , 1,2-hexanediol, green tea extract

Tonymoly Delight Tony Lip Tint in #2 Red  Tonymoly Delight Tony Lip Tint is the bane of my existence.   I KEEP GETTING IT.  It is okay, but since I have received so many full sized and small samples of this damn tint, I am sick of it.  It is  quite affordable and a lot of people love it… however…   I love my lip tint by   Chosungah 22 (Dual Lip Tint & Gloss in Velvet) , and I will stick with that one. However, if you are on a budget and you enjoy a fire engine red tint, this will last on your lips.  The swatch below is when I received the mini in Birchbox as I do not want to open this ~ it probably will go into a giveaway!!   Full Size 9 mL  RV $6.00

Description: This lightweight, super pigmented formula goes on your lips with a fruity smelling sheen, and dries quickly for a sheer, matte finish that won’t budge all day. It’s easy to create deeper color by adding layers of this non-drip formula, which moisturizes lips with rosehip and aragan oils. Plus, this long-lasting tint contains jojoba seed oil, which promotes cellular regeneration and elasticity for younger looking lips

Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Trehalose, Triethanolamine, Ci 15510, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Caprylyl Glycol, Carbomer Emulsion, Propylene Glycol, Glucosyl Stevioside, Glyceryl Caprylate, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Ascorbic Acid, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Euterpe Oleracea Fruit Extract, Punica Granatum Extract, Rosa Canina Seed Extract, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Fruit Extract  cosDNA.com analysis

Extras

I believe we got this extra gift because Miss Tutii was so late this month in sending out the boxes.  This is a nice touch, as many subscription services do not do this.  I received a sample of Holika Holika Good Cera cream, which I will not use as it is for dry skin ~ I thought Miss Tutii had our skin profile on hand, hmm and My Scheming Aloe Vera + Vitamin E Mask, which I am really happy to get!

Description: My Scheming Aloe Vera + Vitamin E Mask is blended with natural aloe vera extract which possesses rare amino acid, proteins and vitamins. It replenishes moisture to your skin, mends skin, promote metabolism and nourishes skin with sufficient nutrients. Vitamin E is an essential element for anti-oxidant which brightens and whitens skin, leaving you a lighten, smooth brilliant skin you desired!

Ingredients: xanthan gum, propylene glycol, sodium hyaluronate, cucumis sativus (cucumber) fruit extract, butylene glycol, aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) flower extract, tocopherol acetate (vitamin E), ceteth-20, ceteth-6, PEG-60 hydrogenated castrol oil, euphrasia officinalis (eyebright), morus alba (mulberry) leaf extract, fagus sylvatica (European beech) bud extract, calendula officinalis flower extract, dipotassium glycyrrhetinate (licorice), sodium PCA, tranexamic acid, arbutin, hydroxyethyl urea, glycerin, iodopropynyl butylcarbamate, methylisothiazolinone, methylparaben, water  cosDNA.com analysis

This month’s box had two interesting products for me ~ the Nature SC eggy mask and the RiRe lip scrub.  The additional item of My Scheming Mask is fantastic too.  I am glad that Miss Tutii has a swap program in place, and I will be dumping that cleanser (as there are too many danger triggers for me on this item) for some nice facial sheet masks.   However, I thought it was a nice touch to include a lip scrub with a lip tint, as your lips need to be in really good shape (exfoliate and smooth!) in order to use a lip tint.  I am sad that there isn’t a “high end” brand this month ~ I will wait and see what next month brings as if this subscription service doesn’t improve, I will stop the service.  I loved February’s bag and this month is a major let down from last month.   I paid $15.00 for this bag and received over $32.50 and with the extra facial sheet mask, it is over $34.00.

Have you signed up for Miss Tutii?  Did you get the bag, box or masks?  What do you think of them?

  1. I used a few samples of the HH Cera Good Cream, and I was very surprised by it. I now have normal skin (formerly extremely oily,) and I thought for sure it was gonna be too rich (ceramide products are said to be heavy in general, anyway,) but it sunk right in. I tried the gel version, too, and it was like slapping straight alcohol on my face; it was awful. Anyway, my point is, the cream might surprise you, too, if you tried it. 🙂

I have been putting that RiRe lip scrub in my RRS cart, then taking it out a gazillion times (you know, playing around with the weight of products,) so I am curious what you think.

    1. That is good to know about the Cera Good Cream! Do you know if it has a scent?

RiRe lipscrub- if you are look for a more traditional sugar scrub, this isn’t it. This is very lightweight as far as scrubs go. However, because it is gentle, I do like it when my lips are really sore and I cannot have a traditional sugar scrub. It doesn’t have the same impact, but it does work at exfoliating, just a lot more slowly.

If you don’t like sugar scrubs and RiRe is too “gentle” (most of the times, it would be too gentle for me, I am just suffering from intense chapped lips right now and they huuuurrtt), I really love Nature Republic By Flower lip scrub. It still has a creamy base, but the scrubbing bits are walnut shell powder and that is more oomph that RiRe.
