Even though my blog may not reflect it that much, I LOVE makeup. I really do. In fact, up until about 5 years ago, I was more into makeup than skincare ~ now, I would say it is 50-50 even split between the two. I rarely do makeup reviews because I don’t like doing selfies, but I love makeup, love different colors and really own way too much product! Rose Rose Shop reached out to me again to see if I would be interested in reviewing a few Tosowoong products, including this limited edition Makeon “Princess Season 3” eyeliner set.
Rose Rose Shop is a K-Beauty online shop that has thousands of Korean name brand items, from skincare to cosmetics. They do not have free shipping, but they have very good prices and I have purchased many items from their shop in the past and will continue to do so.
Tosowoong makes a lot of skincare and makeup products ~ I love their Tea Tree line in skincare. I also love Korean eye liners ~ overall, South Korean gel eye liners are the best ~ they do not budge once the color sets and they are long wearing. I know that Tosowoong Makeon has made three Princess Mermaid limited edition sets ~ Season 1 Femme Fetale, Season 2 Sexy Marine and this product, Season 3 Cleopatra. It comes in a nice decorative tin and you can remove the insert liner so that it can be re-used for gift giving or other products. Season 3 is described as “Bronze Spectrum Waterproof Gel Pencil Liner” Set and contains four neutral shades and one bright color.
The colors are BS01 Dark Brown, a bitter-sweet chocolate brown ~ BS02 Glam Brown, a medium brown with copper shimmers ~ BS03 Deep Bronze which is a bronze shimmer ~ BS04 Blonde ~ bright gold glitter and BS11 Sunshine, the only non-neutral shade of a bright orange shimmer.

These eye liners are water proof and resist oil to prevent smudging. You can use these as an eye liner and also as an eye shadow. You have to work quickly if you wish to use these as an eye shadow, as these liners do not budge after the color sets.
These eye liners go on smoothly without tugging on my delicate skin around my eyes. Sometimes an eye liner is too hard to use effectively as it tugs and pulls on the skin but on the flip side, some liners are so soft that the color just crumbles and falls apart as you try to apply the liner. This is not the case with these liners ~ they have the correct firmness while being creamy smooth . I am able to smudge the liner quite easily, but as I stated, you do have to work quickly if you use this as an eye shadow.
I normally do not reapply my eye makeup during the day and these liners lasted a good 10 hours without fading or smudging.
BS11 Sunshine ~ BS01 Dark Brown
You can create natural looks by using the medium and light shades ~ BS02 as an eye shadow with BS04 used as a highlighter. A natural smokey look can be created by using the darker shades, BS03 as a eye shadow and use BS01 to line and smoke out. I honestly do not know what to do with the BS11 Sunshine, as I do not wear orange eye shadow. I did try and experiment using the brown and orange together, and I just don’t feel it is a good look on my pale skin.
BS02 Glam Brown ~ BS03 Deep Bronze ~ BS04 Blonde
These are not twist up eye liners or self sharping liners ~ you must own a eye pencil sharpener in order to keep a sharp point. I wish these were twist up liners, as it is messy and a pain to to sharpen. I do have eye pencil sharpeners, but I keep misplacing them!
You do need to use an oil based eye makeup remover to remove these eye liners. Plain soap and water will not remove them effectively, but a eye makeup remover will.

Final Thoughts
These are natural, neutral eyeliners. Despite the claims that they are deep and dark shades, they really aren’t. I do believe that Season 3 of Tosowoong Princess eye liners are best for a natural daytime look, that is long lasting. The orange eye liner, Sunshine, I have no clue what to use that for!! All of the liners are nicely pigmented, but they are not kohl liners. If you are looking for a dramatic eye liner set, this is not for you. However, for daily use, I believe you cannot go wrong with them ~ they are long lasting, smudge proof, natural, smooth application without tugging. I also love the collectible tin and that will be used to hold other items.
