Memebox Tutti Frutti Box Unboxing!

this blog post contains affiliate & referral links

I pre-ordered this box back in August as I really wanted to try out a few of the items in here, such as the essence and sleep pack.  And of course.. FRUITY scents!  I am a sucker for fruity products and even more so if they have a delicious fruity scent.  This is an unboxing, so it isn’t a full review on every product  ~ however, I have used a couple of the items and I will give initial impressions on them.  This box is still available for purchase at Memebox

Take your skin on a tropical vacay! This newly picked box is full of exotic fruit refreshers that’ll relax, recover, and revitalize your skin from start to finish, cleansing to masking. BRB while we get our tutti frutti on.

Dilly Delight Lychee Hydra Wash Mask  I did a vid and instagram showing how bouncy this is, plus the lather. I actually have two of these, as Memebox sent me one to try and I have been using it as my facial cleanser of choice while I am on vacation.

This is a hypoallergenic, hydrogel soap and very bouncy to touch. You place this very slippery ball of soap into its mesh bag and then lather up ~ the foam is slick and smooth, very rich its feel and texture, which is probably due to the coconut, olive and avocado extracts. This also has a great fruity scent and is made with almost 39% lychee fruit extract which is full of antioxidant flavonoids, anti-inflammatory and full of vitamin C ~ Vitamin C will also help treat blemishes and skin problems. My face doesn’t feel dry or stripped after I use this, but very soft and clean. The pH test looks to be about a 7 ~ I would not say it is 7.5 or 8, as the strip looks to be much closer to a 7 at this point. I have oily skin, if that helps with determining if you want to purchase this soap and I have not broken out or had any issues using this soap.

I think the container is pretty cool ~ you just flip the lid upside down and place on top of the bottom half of the container and place your soap-in-mesh-bag in the lid.  There is a hole in the lid, so excess water will drain out from the where the soap lies and into the bottom half of the container.   100 grams RV $13.00

Description: Have a ball while washing up! This jiggly, bouncy soap ball cleans as effectively as a wash-off pack and moisturizes as powerfully as a hydrogel mask. Its hero ingredient Lychee builds a Collagen barrier to prevent dryness and protect from pollutants, while other tropical fruits give skin that gorgeous glow.

Half Moon Eyes Milky Jelly Toning Essence Fig & Silica Powder  I am pretty excited to try this product out.  I couldn’t find it anywhere for shipment in the US, until Memebox put out this box.  This is a 3 in 1 product ~ it is a toner, a booster and an essence.  It contains silica powder which will help refine the texture of your skin ~  but you do have to shake it well to mix it up and then it looks like a watery milk.  It is not oily or greasy and it does have a nice mattifying effect to it.  However, the scent is really not to my nose’s taste.  It is a fruity-floral and I find it to be quite strong.  Thankfully, the scent does disappear quickly.

According to Half Moon Eyes, this contains 1 ~ 2 grades of Silica powder that helps manage your pores and absorbs excess oil, while mattifying your skin.  It contains fig extracts, which contain vitamin C, iron and calcium and will help brighten your skin tone.  Another ingredient that is good for oily skin and blemish prone skin is tea tree and this product contains that anti-bacterial, anti-septic ingredient.   I just started using it and while I won’t use it as a 3 in 1 product, it is a nice toner to start your skin routine.  The reason why I wouldn’t use it as a 3 in 1 is because it isn’t hydrating enough for me ~ it only increased my moisture by about 8%.

It does have a pH level of 7, but hey, so does water.

This also came with a nice pack of cotton pads to apply the toner-essence, but you can also use your hands to apply. This can also be put in a spray bottle to mist your face and to create your own DIY soothing facial sheet mask.

Half Moon Eyes Pink Fruity Wash Off Mask Pack  I have tried these before when I purchased mine off amazon, as they had free shipping and I wanted to try this clay pore mask made with dragonfruit!  Dragonfruit  will remove excess oil, tighten pores and  hydrate your skin.  Dragonfruit is supposed to smell sweet and light, so I was pretty excited to try this out.  I can see the seeds of the dragonfruit in the mask pack, which is a dark salmon pink in color.  The scent is quite..unusual.  It smells like perfumed clay.  It is not the best scent in the world and I don’t know why it has such a heavy fragrance that is so artificial.  The texture is like play-doh ~ very hard to apply ~ it is not a smooth application and crumbles.  I left this mask on for 15 minutes and then rinsed off, using the seeds to help exfoliate even more ~ there was some dry down but no itchy or burning feeling on my skin.  Despite the scent and texture, this mask was surprisingly efficient!  My pores were very clean and smaller in size and my face has a nice radiant glow.   I just wish they would do something about the scent.  I am hoping that the ones I got from amazon were old or something and these are better.  I will post an update on my IG account when I use them, if they are different.   10 mL x 3 pack RV $10.00

Description: Pamper yourself with a spa-worthy wash-off mask starring the magical Dragon Fruit. This nutrient-bursting cactus fruit absorbs excess oil and waste and shrinks pores, while Jeju Honey nourishes and hydrates your skin. The moisturizing mask also delivers a cooling sensation that’ll make your skin crave this pink fruity goodie again and again.

Bonvivant Illuminator Pudding-Like Water Gel Mask  I really love Bonvivant facial sheet masks, so I am pretty happy to try out some of their other skincare products.  This is a bouncy gel sleeping pack that remembers its “shape” as it flattens out again, even if you dig deep into it.   This is a white gel that has a floral scent which thankfully disappears quickly.

It has daffodil root extracts, that will provide anti-aging properties due to its antioxidant compound of lycorine.  It also has peptide polyglutamic acid, which is made from fermented soybeans (natto) and helps moisturize and exfoliate old skin cells.  Algowhite or ascophyllum nodosum and niacinamide will help brighten your skin tone and reduce hyper-pigmentation.   It contains amino acids: proline, alanine, serine ~ amino acids are fantastic for your skin, because they help aid in the production of collagen, help boost your skin’s elasticity and add moisture to your skin.  This isn’t really the most hydrating product in the world, however.  It only increases my moisture level by 11%, so this is a very lightweight sleep pack.  This actually would work nicely when I use my facial oils, which are VERY moisturizing and this will just lock in those oils, while providing some brightening effects.  You can also use this as a wash off pack as well.   Full Size 50 mL RV $16.00

Description: Like an oasis in the desert, this cool pudding-like water gel mask powerfully hydrates dry skin while calming irritations. Enriched with patented Daffodil Root Extracts, exfoliating Algowhite Extract, and more nourishing ingredients, this exceptional gel mask revitalizes dull and dead skin. It applies smoothly without stickiness, leaving your skin radiant and even.

This is one of the more interesting boxes I have purchased from Memebox in recent times.  It has some very unique products in it, with lots of fruit extracts.  I do feel this box is designed more for oily and blemish prone skin, based on the ingredients and the hydration levels.  I am a bit put off by most of the scents from these products ~ the only one that I really love the scent of is the soap, as that is truly a fruity delight!  I paid $28.00 for this box and received a value of $61.00.   Memebox still has this box for sale at their site (click here) and some of the products in this box are not sold separately at their site.
