Why do I sub to an Asian Beauty Box when I have so much product? Well, I do like to keep up with newer items and also discover some brands I may have not tried before. It is a nice way to get a feel of products before committing to a larger size. I do like that The 3B Box is really affordable and The 3B Box has improved a lot lately. What is 3B (Beauty Beyond Borders)? It is an Asian sample monthly subscription box and is very affordable at $12.00/monthly. It is similar to ipsy and Birchbox, where you get 4 to 5 deluxe samples (and sometimes a full sized item!)
More about 3B’s monthly service:
Each box contains a collection of deluxe samples that are new or popular in Asia but hard to get your hands on. The products will change each month, and you’ll get to try new skincare, haircare, nailcare, and cosmetic products. Sample products range from go-to brands such as Lioele, Etude House and Skinfood to high-end premium brands like SK-II, Kanebo, and Sulwhasoo. Don’t worry about not being able to read Japanese or Korean – we’ve got you covered with English translations of descriptions in each box. (https://the3bbox.com/the-box/)
Leaders 7 Wonders Amazonian Acai Anti-Pollution Mask I actually own all of the 7 Wonders masks (there are only 6 of them!) and I tried the Camellia 🌸🌸 Pore Minimizing Mask, which I wasn’t that impressed with.
These masks are made from pure coconut bio cellulose and it contains a full bottle (no size on the bottle claim) of serum that is full of botanicals. According to Leaders, “this sheet mask minimizes the effects of pollution on your skin. The mask helps to purify and neutralize the effects of pollution on your skin. Can be used on all sensitive skin types and is dermatologist tested.” I do know that this is a one piece hydrogel and the it is sandwiched between two thick pieces of paper to help it retain its shape and for ease of application. Remove one of the paper protectors and then place mask on your face. Slowly peel back the outer paper protector ~ this gets tricky as the gel will come off your face, so you have to hold down the gel with one hand as you remove the outer backing with the other. The mask needed some fiddling on my part to adjust the fit for my face. It does fit like a second skin on my face. If this runs the same as the Camellia mask, it will smell like that coconut gel scent ~ which is not like coconut, but funky. I will try this out, but I really do prefer the cotton masks from Leaders. I think those are much better and less expensive. The coconut ones leave my face a hot, greasy mess in the morning and I do think they are better suited for drier skin than mine..RV $6.00
