Gently calm, refresh and nourish your oily, fatigued skin with a combination of 25 herbs and oils in this 100% natural cotton sheet mask from Manyo Factory.

Manyo Factory Active Refresh Herb Mask is part of the herbal skin care line that targets oily and irritated skin.  This mask is supposed to help soothe, refresh and reduce/regulate the oil production on your skin.   It has a slew of herbal ingredients packed into this one mask.

Ingredients of Note

This herbal mask has 25 herbal and plant ingredients, plus some anti-aging and hydrating ingredients ~ There are just so many of them that I will just do a few highlights

Hydrating Humectants are back!  This time in the fantastic trio of glycerin, hyaluronic acid and beta-glucan.

Herbs and plant extracts that are used for helping heal skin, target blemishes and rashes, while reversing damage to your skin.

Anti-aging ingredients to help stimulate collagen and reduce swelling and redness from your skin.

And like the other Manyo Factory Active Refresh Herb products, lots of herbs ~ thyme, purslane, licorice, lavender, rosemary, peppermint, oregano,  mallow, anise and much more.  They all contribute to healthy skin with their anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, moisture, antiseptic and astringent properties.

This mask is made from 100% natural cotton and it just soaked and dripping with essence!  This has a nice herbal scent to it, very dark ~ it might be a turn off for some people, but I love more deeper herbal scents.

The fit of the mask is pretty good too ~ it covers well, except around the nose area, where I wish there was more mask for the sides of my nose and right under my nose.  But other than that, it covers my huge face really well, even on the sides of my face, where many masks fall short.  This mask has great cooling properties as well, as my face felt nice and cool while I was wearing it.

A close up ~ just to show you how “juicy” this mask is!

This mask was so wet that I was able to leave it on for 45 minutes and it was still damp when I removed it.  How did it fair?  Well, if you are looking for a soothing and calming mask, this mask does do the trick.  I have some bug bites on the side of my face (they love me in the summertime) and those had reduce in redness and swelling, so I was very happy with that.  This is also a very moisturizing mask ~ I did not find it to be an oil or pore control mask ~ my face was not any more oily or my pores were not bigger than before I put on this mask, so it didn’t do anything one way or another with my oily skin or act as a pore control.  To be fair, I do think this mask is not really marketed as such, but more for soothing, calming and reducing inflammation.  My face did feel refreshed, clean and soft and I really enjoyed this mask as a nice herbal treat for my skin.

Final Thoughts

I would purchase this mask ~ it is good for those days when I need more moisture, but also something to calm my skin, due to rashes, bites or blemishes.  I would not use this oil or pore control, as it doesn’t do that for my skin.  I think that all skin types ~ from oily to dry ~ can use and will enjoy this mask, as it is so moisturizing and soothing.  Have you tried Manyo Factory Active Refresh Herb Mask?  Or any of the Manyo Factory products? What did you think of them?
