This toner is the first in several products from J:Dew Green Moist line that I will be using and reviewing. Q-Depot and J:Dew sent me the full of line of the J:Dew Green Moist Hydrating Care products and I have been using both the toner and emulsion since I received it. I am saving the cream and essence for the cooler months, but I will be reviewing those as well.
J:Dew’s parent company, J’ERS, was created as a premium brand to represent Jeju and means “People who love Jeju Island“. J’ERS symbolizes Jeju’s six resources: nature, tourism, traditional culture, dreams, globalization and people and they produce premium products that will remind people of what is best loved about Jeju Island. All the products from J:Dew line are free from parabens, mineral oil, animal sourced ingredients, artificial fragrance, artificial coloring and benzophenone.
Called “The Hawaii of South Korea”, Jeju Island is known for all of its wonderful natural resources ~ from the earth and sea, lush plant life and minerals. Jeju Island was voted one of the new Seven Wonders of Nature in 2011 ~ The island is not only a popular vacation destination with its natural wonders and unique culture, their stone men (Dolharubang) and their beautiful and breathtaking temples, rare volcanic cones (oreum), but also for cosmetic companies. Cosmetic companies appreciate the purity of the natural resources and there is a high demand to use Jeju Island ingredients in their products.
My toner came in the Green Moist Skin Care set which was housed this great box ~ the lid has been printed to look like wood and it opens up to reveal 4 full sized products and two deluxe samples. Notice the absence of the ingredient “fragrance” in this skin care line. J:Dew has included all ingredients ~ all scents are part of that list and are natural. image source
An amazing Korean skin care product which will cool and moisturizes your skin in almost no time leaving behind smooth texture to your skin without any sticky feelings. It contains pure and organic aloe vera and green tea from the clean soil of Jeju Island, which effectively smooth irritated and troubled skin while proving enough moisture to the deeper layers of your skin. Not only this, it also magically reduces the look of fine lines and wrinkles.
J:Dew Green Moist Toner I have to say that the packaging on the Green Moist line is amazing ~ they all come in light forest green bottles and jars, with bronze-rose colored accents. Their logo includes a picture of Jeju Island and actually J:Dew is J;Dew where the comma in the ; is supposed to be a drop of dew. This bottle is slightly frosted and is made of plastic, but it heavy and not flimsy ~ it looks very cool, with the green and bronze shades. All of the Green Moist line smells like a wonderful herbal garden with warm spicy citrus ~ that is because they all contain lavender and bermagot. The scent is AMAZING, but if you are sensitive to scents, this might not be the product line for you. It does disappear quickly after it is applied to your skin.
Key Ingredients
This toner contains some great plant extracts, which will help moisturize, hydrate and protect your skin, while helping combat free radicals.
It also contains intense hydrating ingredients that will help speed up wound healing, which is important if you suffer from skin issues, such as blemishes or rashes.
This product also smells GREAT, due to the herbaceous lavender and spicy citrus tones of bergamot ~ but they aren’t just for smellin’ purty. They have some fantastic properties that help oily and damaged skin
Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Propanediol , 1,2-Hexanediol, Diglycerine, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Ethanol, Brassica Oleracea Italica (Broccoli) Extract, Green Tea Extract, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Arginine, Carbomer, Adenosine, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Lavandula Hybrida Oil, Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans cosDNA.com analysis

The toner has a pump applicator and it doesn’t squirt all over the place, like some pumps. Appearances are deceiving ~ when looking at this toner in the bottle, it looks thick and might have some viscosity. I was initially concerned that this toner might be a semi-fluid and sticky on my skin. You can see the bubbles and it does look “thick” when you shake the bottle
However, this is a watery liquid when it is actually applied on the skin ~ it has that amazing scent too. I don’t bother with a cotton pad, I just apply this generously all over my face and it absorbs quickly. I can really feel how moist my skin is after I apply this toner. There is no tacky residue, just a feeling of moist and my skin feels very smooth.
How moist is it? For a toner, pretty darn moist ~ it increases my oil/moisture by 26% and due to the humectant ingredients of glycerin and glycosaminoglycans, my skin continues to feel moist and hydrated.
Since this is a watery product and a toner, I also did a pH test to see how acidic it would be. This looks to me between 5 and 5.5, which means it is mildly acidic, which is good for your skin, especially if you have blemish prone skin.

Final Thoughts
I am very impressed by J:Dew Green Moist series so far. This toner hits all of the high notes with no low notes for me. It has a great herbal scent, great hydrating ingredients, helps with blemishes and other skin issues, while protecting your skin from free radicals. I have been just slathering on my face during this massive heat wave that has been crippling here in the Northeast. It feels refreshing and cool, lightweight but hydrating and not sticky. I also like that this is a 6-free product ~ free from parabens, mineral oil, animal sourced ingredients, artificial fragrance, artificial coloring and benzophenone. My oily skin really loves this toner and my nose really loves the scent too ~ this will go on my bucket list of “to buy” once I get thru all of my current stash of toners. I am so happy that Q-Depot sent this to me, as I would have never known about this Jeju centric brand as it seems fairly new. Have you tried any J:Dew products? Are you interested in trying them? Let me know in the comments below ~ I love to hear from my readers.
