So, I know that I haven’t been that thrilled with 3B the last few months in my reviews and 3B did reach out to me via IG and stated that things would get more exciting in the next few months. Let’s see if this month is more inspirational! What is 3B (Beauty Beyond Borders)? It is an Asian sample monthly subscription box and is very affordable at $12.00/monthly. It is similar to ipsy and Birchbox, where you get 4 to 5 deluxe samples (and sometimes a full sized item!)

Sulwhasoo Essential Firming Cream Ha! I just got a sample in my Miss Tutii bag, but more is fine by me when it comes to a high end brand like Sulwhasoo! This has a smooth and creamy texture and it smells a bit lemony to me. This cream is to help tone and firm by deeply nourishing your skin. Looking at the ingredient list, this is a very hanbang cream ~ full of Korean medicinal herbs ~ that will not only help firm and tone your skin, but are supposed to stimulate collagen production for long term effects. This contains Job’s Tears (adlay millet) which will help detox and firm your skin, while licorice, peony and green tea extracts are powerful antioxidants which will help brighten your skin tone while combating free radicals. Leaders Brightening Recovery Mask This is a fermented coconut gel mask (which I hate the Leaders scent, but they are fairly decent masks) that will help brighten dull and uneven skin tone, reduce the redness of blemishes and claims that it will deliver 10 times the amount of hydration than normal masks. I actually prefer the normal sheet masks from Leaders but I have tried this one with the old formula in the past and it did help with reducing the redness of my skin ~ and I do have a blemish on my nose (thanks to a reaction to a product I was testing!!) I haven’t tried the new formula yet, so it will be interesting to see if it still works RV $7.00

Dewytree Black Head Out Nose Patch These are made with Jeju Island volcanic ash (5 mg) and charcoal (13mg) to help detox and purify your nose pores. It also has witch hazel to soothe and tighten up pores. Korean nose patches are much more delicate than Western brand types ~ ours rip the skin, I swear it feels like that ~ whereas Korean nose patches are pretty gentle for the most part ~ they stick pretty well, but I never feel like I have stripped away a layer of skin. I will give these a try as I do like Dewytree products ~ their black masks are AMAZING and I have had their Teatree Porest Powder Toner and it was fabulous. I am always surprised that Dewytree is not carried more at Korean/Asian beauty online stores ~ I have no idea why that is. You just put these on a clean and slightly moistened nose and leave on for about 10 minutes. Then gently peel away and you will see lots of dirt and gunk stuck to the patch! If you find that the patch is stuck on too hard, just moisten with warm water and then pull away. I don’t use these that often, but there are times when I need to. 3 patches RV $3.50

Arituam Honey Fresh Power Essence Sleeping Pack Oh look at all the HONEY!! I love getting honey products. Arituam is part of the huge AmorePacific company and this is a sleeping pack ~ made 200 mL of honey extracts ~ this is their moisturizing sleeping pack and it has a cap on the pouch so you can re-close it. This is probably good for 2 to 3 uses. Honey is a fantastic moisturizer and it is great for those who have blemishes as well, as it is an anti-septic and anti-bacterial ingredient too. 10 mL RV $4.99

Skinfood Royal Honey Propolis Essence Another honey product ~ and just in time, as my Graymelin Propolis 80 serum is almost gone! I have received foil samples of this product before and I did like this item, so I am glad I received a nice deluxe sample (foils are a pain with watery products, don’t you think?) This is very lightweight ~ it is light watery gel and it absorbs quickly into my skin, leaving a nice glowing finish. Honey, as I mentioned, has antibacterial properties, that can speed up healing in your skin ~ think acne, rashes, cuts ~ and prevent additional infection. The wonderful texture of honey will keep moisture close to your skin, which makes for a glowing and radiant complexion. Not only does honey keep moisture in your skin, but it is humectant, which means it attracts moisture too. Honey is also an antioxidant, which means it helps repair and combat any damage caused by free radicals and prevents premature wrinkling. This also has propolis (the first ingredient!! and at 50%) ~ a natural antibiotic that is produced by honey bees. This ingredient is wonderful for those with blemish prone skin or have other skin issues, as it really helps heal your skin. This product contains 10% honey, 50% propolis and 20% royal jelly extracts ~ a trifecta of honey! It also has glycerin, beta-glucan and sodium hyaluronate ~ all amazing hydrating ingredients. I am SO happy with this month’s box from 3B!! I love my two honey products and am really excited about the Skinfood item. It is good to see a high end brand in a 3B box ~ Sulwhasoo ~ and I am also happy that they are adding Arituam products, as those are hidden gems. Leaders is a solid player and Dewytree is a favorite brand of mine ~ I wish more sites would carry their products, as they have some amazing toners and masks. Excellent month from The 3B Box ~ I hope they continue with this type of curation! I paid $12.00 for this and received a RV of over $26.00, which is pretty good!
