I did get my March Herbal Bliss box several days ago, but was waiting for a bonus item. Julie at Herbal Bliss didn’t want this to get bent up in the box, so she sent it out separately and ensured that it wouldn’t get folded or bent out of shape ~ great customer service! Herbal Bliss is a unique eco-friendly subscription service, as their whole theme is around providing herbal products ~ samples, full sized ~ from artisan crafted companies around the USA. Their monthly lifestyle box will contain 5 items that could be culinary, health, beauty, aromatherapy and more.
What is Herbal Bliss Co?
Herbal Bliss enjoys reaching out to the diverse herbal suppliers throughout the USA to bring you five unique samples each month. Our sample categories are Aromatherapy, Blissful Body, Culinary, Well Being and a Spotlight product. Each of our suppliers thoughtfully grows, harvest, and packages to bring you delightful experiences into your home. Herbal Bliss is thrilled to introduce you to a multi-faceted experience each month.
- Passionate About Small Batches ~ Our suppliers are often growing their herbs, creating their recipes, and building their shop fronts on their family farm. You are receiving special, handcrafted gifts from nature without bias to one supplier over another.
- Discover Herbs ~ Herbal products are one of the fastest growing consumer products. Why is that? People are wary of chemical, laboratory products that have who knows what effect on our body systems. We want to put natural products in our bodies and on our skin & hair. We want to read a label and not only be able to pronounce the ingredients, but know what they are
- Education ~ Herbs can be intimidating. Herb shops are usually very helpful, but sometimes you may be afraid to ask questions because other customers seem so well informed. Most people know that you should not ingest herbs for ailments without speaking to your doctor first, but there are many other questions about the use of herbs. Herbs are from the earth and have uses beyond what you think of everyday and we are here to help introduce those uses and the makers of these gifts. We bring education for each category. (source)
Herbal Bliss offers (per box) a month-to-month sub at $25.00, 3 month sub at $22.00, 6 month sub at $20.00 and a yearly sub at $18.00 per box.

Aura Cacia Tea Tree Essential Oil I do like Aura Cacia essential oils ~ I own their sweet orange and clove (I love using the clove as a perfume!) and I like Aura Cacia’s business model and mission statement ~ they have their own sustainable sourcing program, Well Earth, which promotes the sustainable production of natural and organic products, creates partnerships that focus on social and environmental principles. They have a commencement to provide Fair Trade certified products, organics and social responsibility as well. Aura Cacia products are not tested on animals are are free of animal by-products except for beeswax. This month, I received Tea Tree and I do love Tea Tree oils! Tea Tree has a sharp, medical, clean scent and it is a natural alternative to chemical based purifiers. Tea Tree oils, when diluted with a carrier (never use directly on your skin!) help with oily skin, blemishes and is a great antiseptic and anti-bacterial product. It has antimicrobial properties, due to terpinen-4-ol compound and it will kill the bacteria on your skin that causes blemishes and it will also help prevent blemishes due to its antiseptic and antifungal properties. Tea Tree can penetrate into your skin to help heal blemishes and clean your pores to prevent further blemishes. It has a chain so you can hang it and on the other side, there is another wheel
This side has what you want to create ~ compress, perfume, room spray and so on and it will give you recipes to create the product you want! I really like this wheel a lot and it did come undamaged, thanks to the sturdy envelope that this came in. RV $4.58
Description: This colorful, informative wheel includes recipes, suggested uses and properties of 16 popular essential oils. 9.5″ diameter. Wheel comes with hanging chain to for easy display.
Mountain Rose Herbs Aloe Vera Gel Another brand I really love! This is real 100% aloe vera gel ~ its scent is a traditional bitter scent of aloe, as it has no other fragrance added ~ many aloe gels have cucumber as an ingredient, which makes it smell fresh. Aloe is more bitter and sharp. This is more liquid-y as well ~ as aloe itself is not a thick gel, but a watery gel, in its natural state. Mountain Rose Herbs is non-GMO certified and they use fair trade practices, sustainable packaging and watershed conservation. I am pretty excited about this gel, because it can also be used for making drinks with it ~ aloe is very healthy, both inside and out! Aloe Vera is a powerful moisturizer that doesn’t leave your skin feeling oily or greasy. It soothes, treats inflammation, helps speed up skin healing and also has a plethora of antioxidants ~ beta-carotene, Vitamin C and Vitamin E, which help improve your skin’s firmness and keeps your skin moist and hydrated. It also contains over 75 different nutritious ingredients, including minerals, enzymes, amino acids, salicylic acid and much more. 8 oz RV $5.50
For your skin: Add a few drops of tea tree oil to 2 teaspoons of aloe vera gel and apply to your blemishes. Leave on overnight and then wash your face. Use this mixture on a regular basis to help treat and prevent blemishes.
For your insides (from Drink Your Aloe)
For either recipe below, just mix all of the ingredients in a blender and pour over ice. If you are experimenting drinking your aloe, it is recommended to always add one acidic fruit into your drink to cut back on the bitterness.

Sencha Naturals Citrus Ginger Green Tea + C This is an effervescent powdered drink, full of Vitamin C. This organic answer to all of those powder Vitamin C drinks. Stash Tea Lemon Honey Sticks I keep seeing these types of sticks online and I am really happy to finally try them. These are great to put in your purse or backpack as each stick is good to sweeten your tea or other drinks. This is made with clover honey and are flavored with natural lemon extract to add interest to your drinks! This is made with pure honey, so no additives are included in the ingredients. Only 15 calories and 4 g sugar per stick, Kosher certified and made in the great state of Portland, Oregon, USA. I actually am slightly addicted to adding honey and lemon to hot water. Several years ago, when I was really ill and in the hospital for over a week, I wouldn’t eat or drink anything.. except hot water with lemon juice and a bit of honey. I find it to be very soothing and helps calm me nowadays. To use these, just open up one end and squeeze into your drink. Stash also makes other flavors (chai, cinnamon and original) , so I will have to check these out! 1 box (20 sticks) RV $4.95
Description: The Stash Tea Company is headquartered in Portland, Oregon. Founded in 1972, the company derives its name from an entertaining aspect of tea folklore. In earlier centuries, tea was a valuable commodity traditionally transported by clipper ship. The ship’s captain often was presented with some of the finest teas for his personal use. This supply was his “stash”, stowed carefully as his “private reserve.” Today, the term still is used to denote anything put away carefully because of its preciousness. Stash Lemon Honey Sticks are made from pure clover honey and natural lemon extract, then sealed in a plastic straw. Stash Premium Lemon Honey sticks, 20-count boxes is the perfect small gift. Makes a great stocking stuffer or a sweet addition to gift baskets.

Himalayan Institute Neti Stick AHHH, allergy season is here and I am so glad that I got a new inhaler. I usually purchase the Vicks version, but this is not only made with menthol, but also eucalyptus, peppermint and lavender essential oils. I do use a Neti pot to help clear out my sinuses but sometimes I need that brisk jolt to unclog my nose and this does smell fantastic. I think this is a great alternative to Vicks and it is soothing and refreshing. I also think this would be great whenever you need to relax and de-stress, meditate, deep breathing exercises (which I need to do) This is made in the USA 2 oz RV $4.95
Description: The Himalayan Institute nasal products naturally cleanse, refreshe, and protect the nasal passages, one of our body’s first lines of defense against illness. Recommended by doctors and pharmacists worldwide, these have been used for thousands of years in Ayurvedic medicine to alleviate sinus and allergy problems. Recent clinical studies have shown that nasal irrigation is effective in improving symptoms of patients with frequent sinusitis. The Himalayan Institute introduced the Neti Pot in 1972. Another great month from Herbal Bliss! I really love this box ~ from the wonderful tea tree oil, to aloe vera (and it is good to use in food, so I am happy about that!), the honey sticks, the inhaler and the Vit C tea drink ~ just really a lovely, bright, uplifting box full of good stuff for your body ~ outside as well as inside! This month also featured some really famous brands if you are into organic products ~ you would recognize them. I wish there was another package of the tea drink, but other than that, this is a wonderful box and very aromatic too! Oh and the bonus wheel is pretty cool and I have hung it up on my bathroom door. I paid $17.00 for my box, as I am on a 6 month subscription with one of their promo codes and received almost a $30.00 value ~ a really nice deal for an indie, eco-friendly subscription box with herbal ingredients.
