Unboxing March 2016 ToGoSpa Society Box

ToGoSpa Society Box is my eye gel indulgence ~ I love their gels and “The Benefit” usually is really cool. ToGoSpa actually purchases the products as they do not get them for free. I know when they include a vendor, it is one that they personally picked out because they love it Every month, we get a hint what the next month’s Benefit theme is and it was “We are going clean & green“, which I thought might have something to do with St. Patrick’s Day, but I was wrong!! In fact, I am very surprised by this month’s Benefit item ~ and in a good way, too.

Before I head into the unboxing, I want to briefly tell you what ToGoSpa Society is, if you don’t know. If you do know, you can skip down a bit to my unboxing 🙂 I subscribe to ToGoSpa Society just to get their amazing eye gels monthly and they also add in a “benefit” product(s) that varies monthly. What is The Benefit? It’s a special gift from us to you! On our never ending quest to discover the best of the best in “on the go” spa products, we find some extraordinary things! We want to share some of this booty with you, and The Benefit allows us do just that! Each month, along with your EYES, you’ll receive a unique and special gift of one of our favorite products. It could be a gift of our own ToGoSpa brand products, or another brand that we covet. The Benefit will be a full size, spa quality, awesome gift valued from $20 – $50. We won’t tell you what it is, but we know you’re going to LOVE it!

Which flavor of EYES will I receive? Your call. You’ll get to choose between Refreshing Ice Water, Rejuvenating Green Tea and Replenishing Coconut, or a combo of ALL 3.

How does my participation work? Each month you’ll receive you 15 pair of EYES or 30 pair of Eyes and The Benefit. Then we’ll send you a brief questionnaire and ask a few basic things about your experience, and if it’s something you think is worthy of ending up in the ToGoSpa store. Basically, you’re going to be the “deciders” of any ToGoSpa products going forward.

There was a minor price hike on their services for the New Year ~ I am on the $27.50 variety plan, but I have been grandfathered in, so I pay $22.00 a month ~ and will receive the same Benefit product as the other plans, so I am glad that I am not missing out on that! ToGoSpa makes it really easy to switch your plans online, so if I need to start restocking my eye gels, I can just switch back to the the $40.00 variety plan. The $27.50 variety plan will supply me 2 packs of eye gels ~ randomly selected from Ice Water, Green Tea, Coconut and Pomegranate packs with each pack containing 3 pairs of gels (6 treatments total) ~ plus a “benefit” product, which could be one of their products or a product that they really like ~ valued at $20.00 to $50.00

The “Benefit” Product

This month’s Benefit was about green and clean! Green as in eco-friendly and organic and clean as in freshly washed and scented laundry! This is a surprise too ~ I love that ToGoSpa is including LifeStyle products and not just beauty items.

The Benefit this month features three products from B & N Laundry. This is a family owned and operated business from Murrieta, California. It was started out of necessity when Tony Bollin suffered kidney failure and Rachel decided to get rid of all unnecessary chemicals and dyes. She created her Goat Milk Laundry soap after months of research and testing and it comes in 3 scents ~ lemon, lavender and eucalyptus, using essential oils. This soaps are very gentle on your skin and makes clothes soft, and are hypoallergenic.

This is a 3 piece kit and includes laundry detergent, a stain stick and a lavender sachet

Goat Milk Laundry Detergent This is scented with eucalyptus essential oils and it does smell very spa-like. One of the nice things about B & N Laundry is that for every large box of detergent sold, they will donate .50 cents to the National Kidney Foundation. B & N Laundry detergent is SLS and phosphate free, while eucalyptus is a natural dust mite killer. This small bag should yield 30 loads.

Description: This detergent is concentrated, only one tablespoon is needed per load. Safe for all washing machines, including HE washers. The base is goat’s milk soap, so it contains only natural ingredients. Scented with essential oils, which also act as a natural cleanser. This detergent has no dyes or harsh chemicals, making it completely safe for anyone to use.

Ingredients: Goat Milk Soap, Borax, Washing Soda, Eucalyptus Essential Oil

Felted Goat Milk Soap Stain Stick This is pretty cool ~ it is made with goat’s milk and lye and one end has a felted covering, which is used to scrub. You wet the stick and then apply the unfelted side to the stain, then flip the stick around and use the felted side to scrub. Leave on stain for 20 minutes before washing.

Description: Got a Bhaaad stain? The famous B & N Laundry Half Felted Goat Milk Soap Stain Stick is all you need! The B & N stain stick is known for it’s ability to get out nearly every stain you can encounter. Stains such as ink, chocolate, berries, red clay and even stains that have been washed and dried.

Ingredients: goat milk, coconut oil, lye, olive oil, borax, orange peel extract

Lavender Sachet A lovely little sachet, scented with calming lavender herbs. I will put this in my lingerie drawer.

I really enjoyed getting the items from B & N Laundry! I love goat milk products ~ Indigo Wild Zum Soaps are my favorite body soaps ~ and this selection from B & N is very nicely scented. Check out their website ~ I may have to purchase the laundry balls, as it will help cut my clothes drying time by 15 to 25 percent. I paid $22.00, which included shipping and received a value of $49.00 If you order before the 15th, you can still get this month’s box. So, next month, ToGoSpa hinted that it will be “The Wattle Wonder” ~ hmmm, maybe something for my neck to help firm and tone?
