A few weeks ago, I purchased the new banila co Tea Party facial sheet masks at MissTutii’s on line shop. There are six varieties in this set, but I only purchased four as I am allergic to rose and jasmine. I posted my mask reviews on my IG account, but I like to do a Mask Digest on my blog once I complete a series, so you can easily find them. I will recap what I originally wrote, plus some final thoughts and where to purchase information.
Banila Co Tea Party Mask in Black Tea (Smoothing) I purchased a set of Banila Co Tea Party masks from Miss Tutii’s online store and am starting off with their Black Tea Mask ~ smoothing. I didn’t do a selfie with this mask, but my next one will have a selfie so you can see the fit. These masks are made with a woven cotton sheet and have an ampoule type essence ~ which means the essence is thicker than most. This mask is just dripping in essence, I can tell you. It is a very wet mask and there is even more serum in the packet, which I just put on the mask and on my neck. This has a really good fit around the eyes, nose and mouth as well as overall with my facial shape. There is a slight scent, but I don’t think it smells like tea or anything ~ and it goes away quickly. It isn’t unpleasant, I just cannot place it.
I used this one the other night after I did a facial with my Palmetto Derma Rejuvenating Antioxidant Mask that I just received in Kloverbox. I wanted a smoothing mask, as the Antioxidant mask had acids in it and also would smooth my skin and I felt this was a good soothing mask to add. There is 1000ppm of black tea extracts in here, as well as grapefruit, ginkgo, and peach leaf extracts. I was able to leave this mask on for 40 minutes because it was so wet and my face felt soothed and smoothed. Very hydrated and my face did feel very silky to touch. So the first one that I chose from the Tea Party series I really like!
These aren’t cheap masks ~ Miss Tutii is selling them for almost $7.00 apiece ~ I am sure they can be cheaper elsewhere, but the only places I found them were either close to that cost with free shipping or around $3.00 but you would have to pay international shipping.

Banila Co Tea Party Mask in Oolong Tea (Brightening) Last night’s mask is Oolong ~ Brightening. This contains 1000ppm of Oolong tea extracts and polyphenols found in oolong leaves help fight free radicals. Its high level of antioxidants will slow down aging signs, such as premature wrinkles, dark spots, and will improve the tone and elasticity. It will also protect your skin from damage caused by UV rays. Once again, the mask is very wet with the amount of essence and the fit is really good. It doesn’t smell like tea or flowers, just a slight scent that goes away quickly. I was able to leave this mask on for 40 minutes and it was still damp when I removed it!
My face does look a little bit brighter, very hydrated, and no tacky residue. Any remaining essence on the skin does absorb pretty quickly after the mask is removed. I have had better brightening masks, but the payoff in hydration is amazing! I will do a skin analysis test with the next mask so I can give you those results. So, two winners so far from the Banilo Co Tea Party masks ~ first Black Tea (smoothing) and now Oolong (Brightening)

Banila Co Tea Party English Breakfast Tea (Firming) Mask 🎭🎭🎭 This mask actually has a variation in the ingredient list! The first two, Black Tea & Oolong, had the same ingredient list except for the type of tea used. This actually has a few different ingredients, including milk protein (100ppm). With 1000 ppm of black tea extracts, I guess this is an English Breakfast milky tea! No sugar though.. Anyway, this is supposed to be a firming mask, so lets see how it performs. The mask is, as always from this series, drenched in essence. This one does seem more scented ~ not by much, but I can tell it is more of a floral scent, but it is very light. After 40 minutes, I removed the mask ~ I am not sure how firming masks are supposed to work ~ anyone? Maybe my skin is too far gone for firming ~ haha. So, since I cannot tell if my skin is firmed or not, I will say my digital skin analyzer did register a 25.1% in lipids(oil) and 55.8% in moisture after removing this mask, so it does hydrate and my skin does feel moist and smooth.

Banila Co Tea Party Ginseng Tea Mask (Energizing) This is the final mask that I purchased in the Banila Co Tea Party mask series ~ I did not purchase the rose or jasmine tea masks. This has the same type of ingredients as Black Tea and Oolong Tea, but with 1000 ppm of ginseng extract as the difference. Panax Ginseng will help detox your skin while helping to aid in the production of collagen in your skin. This will help reduce and slow down aging signs, such as loss of firmness, wrinkles, fine lines and hyper-pigmentation. This mask actually does smell like ginseng and I was really happy with that (I love hanbang scents!)
Again, very wet mask, great fit, and I love the smoothness of the mask material, which is 100% cotton. After 40 minutes, I removed the mask and this one did make my face look more brighter and more color in my cheeks!! I think out of the 4 masks I purchased in this series (Black Tea, English Breakfast, Oolong and Ginseng), the Ginseng is my favorite, due to its scent (yeah!) and how it make my skin tone look more radiant.

Final Thoughts
I think that these masks are great all purpose masks, but they do not differ that much in the ingredients list and I cannot think why they would call these smoothing, brightening and so on, when basically the only ingredient changed is the type of tea used. They are very hydrating, moist masks, the fit is excellent, the mask sheet itself is smooth and silky. Benefits of these masks are pretty much interchangeable and my favorite is the Ginseng Tea (Energizing), but mainly due to the scent! One thing that is puzzling to me is the price tag on these masks. They are expensive and I do not see anything in the ingredient list that would explain this. The masks themselves, as I stated, are great all purpose facial sheet masks, but again, not for the price tag that Banila Co is asking ~ I honestly think it is because of the “it-factor” of tea extracts (quite popular), even though a lot of K-Beauty facial sheet masks already contain green tea extracts in their masks. Also, the name of Banila Co might be driving the price up as well.
Would I repurchase again? Not at this price tag. If I could find them for $2.00 ~ $3.00 apiece in the USA market, I would definitely get the Ginseng Tea version.
