Deco Naturals Prickly Pear + Aloe Mask   This was a variation in our boxes ~ the other choice is a Lemon + Sea Salt mask.  The Prickly Pear + Aloe (which I will refer to as PP+A) mask is a cleansing mask which soothes and detoxes the skin.  It is for dry or sensitive skin, but the ingredients in this product do not seem to exclude those with oily skin, so I am pretty happy to get this.  Prickly Pear is a cactus that I am familiar with my K-Beauty products ~ it is full of vitamin B, which helps the epidermis retain moisture, resulting in softer and smoother skin with  less noticeable fine lines and wrinkles.   Prickly Pear also is high in antioxidants, is an anti-inflammatory and contains amino acids and other nutrients.   Chamomile and Aloe help soothe, moisturize and heal your skin, while the white kaolin clay is a powerful detox and removes excess oil and unclogs pores.   This is 100% natural, vegan, cruelty free and made in the USA.  Full Size 4 oz Value $26.00

 

How To Use: in a small dish, add liquid to a small quantity of mask until a thick paste forms. apply to face, allow time to dry, and gently rinse. we suggest using either water (easy for all skin types), yogurt (soothing + exfoliating), or honey (nourishing + combats problem skin).

Natalie Therese Key Chain Pouch in Aqua  This is so cute!  This cork fabric key chain pouch was our spoiler for this month and I was hoping to get the aqua zipper color.  This is made from cork oak bark shavings from Portugal and are made into ultra thin sheets to create “cork fabric”.  Cork is a naturally sustainable resource which can be harvested every  9 years from cork oak trees, without harming or killing the trees.  The bark regenerates, making this a renewable, sustainable resource, that is recyclable and biodegradable.  Cork shavings removed from the bark of the cork oak tree are transformed into ultra thin sheets to produce cork fabric.

Pacifica Indian Coconut Nectar Body Butter  I’ve actually had this scented body butter before from Pacifica and it is one of my favorites!  This is a very strong coconut scent with warm vanilla tones, so if you don’t like coconut, send this my way! haha.  This is very thick and moisturizing, due to its shea butter, coco butter, mango butter, and all sorts of oils and butters, to numerous to tell here.   A little goes a long way, as it is so hydrating.  I love the scent as it just reminds me of lazy, tropical days at the beach.  Not that I live near a tropical beach, but the times I have…dreams…… This is 100% natural, vegan and cruelty free.   Full Size 8 oz Value $15.00

How to Use:  Soak me in water until jelly-like and gently squeeze out excess water. Massage and buff me all over your face in a circular motion. Use me naked or with a small amount of your favourite cleanser. When you are done, just rinse me and gently squeeze all the water out. Don’t forget to hang me to dry or keep me in a dry spot. I’ll shrink and harden when I’m dry, but just soak me again and I’ll be all ready for you again. promise.  just a reminder… I don’t like germs and bacteria. To sterilize, pop me in boiling water or in a bowl of water in the microwave for 60 seconds. I’ll last 2 months if you take care of me. Like any skincare, discontinue using me in case of irritation.

Wow, this box is really nice!  I am pretty interested in purchasing the Lemon + Sea Clay mask from Deco Naturals, as I do have oily skin, and I LOVE the scent of Pacifica’s body butter.  The key chain pouch is so cute and will be handy to put my coins in for the toll and the konjac sponge is welcomed, because I do use them and you do need to replace them every few months.
