Unboxing Beauty

As some of you might know, I am in total love with my Goodal Waterest Tone Up First Essence and I have written an extensive review on it plus it was featured in my latest favorite products post.  I decided to purchase another item in the Waterest line,  the Waterest Lasting Oil, despite my reservations over putting an OIL on my oily face.   So far, I have had great success with Goodal products, as I have purchased a few more from Memebox, and decided to roll the dice again with this oil

 

Waterest Lasting Water Oil  Once again, Goodal has wooed and seduced me with their fermented loveliness.   This is made with fermented watery oil, which consists of 7 seed oils ~ sunflower seed, jojoba, camellia, green tea seed, argan, olive and macadamia oil ~ which will attract and retain moisture, brighten your skin tone, improve the firmness of your skin, help calm sensitive skin and provide intense nutrition to your skin.  This also has red yeast rice oil, which helps with combating environmental damage that can stress your skin.  This oil is supposed to lock in moisture for 24 hours.  There are lots of oils in this product besides the 7 seeds oil

• Citrus Limon (lemon) ~ a natural tonifier, balancing your skin’s moisture and oil levels, and rejuvenating the skin; a natural antiseptic.
  
• Ocimum Basilicum (basil) ~ stimulates circulation to revive and refresh dull looking skin, improves skin color and tone.  Controls acne/blemishes.
  
• Geranium Maculatum ~ an astringent, helps speed up wounds as it contains anti-bacterial properties.
  
• Eugenia Caryophyilus (clove) ~ antioxidant properties, which help prevent cell damage.
  
• Rose Damascena ~ antimicrobial which helps with healing acne. This ingredient is what I didn’t purchase this right away.  I have done a patch test and I have no reactions to the rose ingredient
  
• Rosmarinus Officinalis (rosemary) ~  (my favorite ingredient) an antimicrobial and antiseptic that helps with reducing oil and acne.  Helps tone your skin and removes dryness and gives an healthy, even glow. 
  

This also contains Bifida Ferment Lysate, which is a probiotic that historically has been used to bolster the immune system, when taken internally.  However, there are claims that this ingredient, when used topically, helps with reducing skin sensitivity and skin self repairing. Niacinamide (Vitamin B³) is also a key ingredient, as it helps with reducing hyper-pigmentation.

Goodal uses raw seed fermentation method, which is described as follows:

“It is really special and extraordinary fermentation method, called ‘Raw seed fermentation method with Goodal Real natural seeds’  Not fermentation with artificial oil water, it is Raw fermentation from natural seeds directly”

Waterest Lasting Water Oil has a light fermented scent to it, like its sister, Waterest Tone Up Essence, and it is a watery gel that absorbs quickly into my skin.   I do know that my skin loves this stuff and my face is not greasy where I apply it.  Since this is a smaller bottle, I use it sparely around the areas that I wish to target ~ around my eyes (crow’s feet), between my eyes (elevenses), my cheeks and my temple, where I have hyper-pigmentation damage from sun spots.   I hope, with time, that my hyper-pigmentation will fade with the use of this product and the essence.  Full Size 60 mL

How To Use:  Apply directly after toner and/or essence. Dispense 1-2 pumps and apply over entire face and neck, press into skin using palms. Follow application with a moisturizer

Based on the prices I have seen at the USA Memeshop and Club Clio USA, this bottle is retailed at $30.00.  I did find it cheaper at Club Clio International, for under $23.00, but the shipping costs are prohibitive.   If you are willing to take a chance, I highly recommend this product.    Do you own Goodal Waterest Lasting Water Oil or any other Goodal products?  What is your opinion and experience with these products?  Let me know if the comments below ~ I am always interested in reading about K-beauty products and experiences.
