Peach Slices Snail Rescue Review

Last year, I had purchased Peach Slices Snail Rescue Intensive Wash-Off Mask and I have been in love this item since then ~ I have emptied out three jars of this stuff!  Peach Slices sent me the FULL Snail Rescue line and if you have been looking for a  snail line without that viscosity and stickiness while providing the snail slime bennies, this is one to check out! Even more so if you have oily skin or live in a hot, humid area ~ This is an oily skin, summer time routine that I recommend!

My skin type/concerns:  Oily, aging, dehydrated, blemish prone, pores, hyper-pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles.

I received these products complementary to review and was not paid.  All reviews are my own honest opinion and  I never have been asked to write copy for a brand.  This blog post might contain promo codes, affiliate and referral links, which using my links will help generate a small commission that helps support my blog at no extra cost to you.

Key Ingredient

Well, of course it’s snail secretion filtrate aka snail mucin aka snail slime.  Don’t worry, you aren’t smearing snail on your skin, just the mucus they produce.  This ingredient  will increase skin elasticity and increase firmness.  The antimicrobial enzyme in here will help repair skin from blemishes, reducing acne and working to lighten hyper-pigmentation scarring.  Peach Slices gathers the snail mucus in a cruelty free manner and no snails were harmed in this process. Peach Slices is cruelty-free and Leaping-Bunny certified.

Snail Rescue Intensive Wash-Off Mask: What started it all for me ~   This contains 95% snail mucin, which is cruelty-free, purified and filtrated ~ snail mucin deeply hydrates and helps keep skin soft, smooth and purifies skin, so blemishes and spots heal and fade faster. Snail mucin also contains glycolic acid, so it will gently exfoliate your skin, revealing a more glowing you! ⁣

This also has soothing, healing  CICA care along with hydrating & skin conditioning birch juice, containing  vitamin B3 and B5 to help brighten and even your skin tone. Three types of hyaluronic acid  to help hydrated your skin from the outer layers to the inner layers as well as calming, brightening licorice and vitamin C-packed, antioxidant strawberry extract that naturally contains BHA, helping to unclog pores along with skin brightening vitamin C, antioxidant anthocyanins and  hydrating saccharides. T

Ingredients: Snail Secretion Filtrate(95%), Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/Beheneth-25 Methacrylate Crosspolymer, 1,2-Hexanediol, Centella Asiatica Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hyaluronic Acid, Water, Fragaria Chiloensis (Strawberry) Fruit Extract, Sodium Polyacrylate Starch, Betula Alba Juice, Propanediol, Butylene Glycol, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol cosDNA

The jelly texture is almost crumbly and feels really cool to pick up and  play with ~ haha ~ but don’t just play with it, put it on your face! This has such a refreshing and cooling effect on my skin and it will stay on my skin ~ it adheres nicely without falling off.

After 20 minutes, I rinse off ~ in the shower, as it is a hard mask to remove ~  and my skin looks clear and clean. Pores look smaller and as I continue to use this product, my skin feels smoother and softer, and very hydrated. I also have used this as an overnight moisturizer and it also works really well. ⁣ This is such a great little product and is by far, my favorite snail jelly mask that I have used!

Snail Rescue Blemish Busting Toner only has 12 ingredients, with a focus on the snail slime and a trio of hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, sodium hyaluronate and  hyaluronic acid ~ HA of different molecelur weights for more hydration care, along with centella.  Centella is known for its CICA care and is a common herbal ingredient that is used medicinally to help speed up wound healing, such as blemishes and skin rashes. It also helps minimize the appearance of pores.

Ingredients: Snail Secretion Filtrate, Propanediol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hyaluronic Acid, Centella Asiatica Extract, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Citrate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Citric Acid, Tocopherol cosDNA

This toner is odorless and clear, without any sticky or tacky residue. It’s a watery toner, and very lightweight, with a pH balance of 5, making it skin-balancing friendly and mildly acidic.

This is a lovely toner, that helps cool down skin, while reducing redness.  Perfect for summer months as it dries down quickly, but leaves my skin feeling soft and supple, with good hydration.  The snail slime in here also helps to heal pimples quickly.   There is no alcohol in here, so this won’t dry out your skin at all.

Snail Rescue Oil Free Moisturizer is SOOO good.  Along with 95%  snail secretion filtrate, centella, the hydrating humectants trio of hyaluronic acidsbirch juice and strawberries, this also contains betaine.  Betaine is an amino acid that is also moisture binding humectant and anti-irritant, providing  silky smooth skin whiles soothing and calming skin.

Ingredients: Snail Secretion Filtrate (95%), Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Betaine, Water, Centella Asiatica Extract, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hyaluronic Acid, Betula Alba Juice, Fragaria Chiloensis (Strawberry) Fruit Extract, Sodium Carbomer, Propanediol, Sorbitan Olivate, Cetearyl Olivate, Butylene Glycol, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol cosDNA

The moisturizer comes in a squeezable tube and the moisturizer is a gel-cream type, with no fragrance.  This moisturizer is lightweight and turns watery on my skin as I apply it, leaving no greasy or tacky residue.

I love the feel of this moisturizer as it is perfect for my oily skin ~ it doesn’t leave my skin shiny or dewy, yet it helps hydrate my skin ~ oily skin needs hydration even in the summertime. If you skip a moisturizer, your skin will get dehydrated and produce MORE oil.  This is a refreshing, weightless moisturizer that hydrates the skin beautifully.
