On the search for more non smudging lippies to wear under my mask, but this one isn’t it. However when life goes back to normal, this is a great lipstick. For those who follow my blog, they know I am a huge fan of matte lipsticks and like a magpie who can’t resist shiny things, you cannot show me a matte lippie without me wanting to try it. So many mattes and not enough lips! TheSAEM has a new product out call the 3 Edge Lip Stick Velvet Fit and when I saw the design, I was really interested. Thanks to Jolse, a premier online Korean Beauty shop, I was able to choose from a variety of shades and selected #RD04 Burning Up. Jolse sent me this for review purposes.

My skin type and concerns: doesn’t really pertain to this review
This has such a lux looking tube ~ it is sleek, matte black with triangular shape with a rose gold top cap. The product itself is in a triangle shape as well and the tube twists up and down with satisfying clicks. The triangular shape is supposed to help with getting into the edges of the lips with ease.
This is a nice matte shade of a reddish-orange ~ chili pepper red, wonderful warm shade for fall. The formula is very velvety and fills in fine lines on my lips without tugging or pulling. This is VERY pigmented, very opaque and you can get full coverage in just one swipe. To intensify the color, add another layer so it deepens but it still has a vibrancy. You can also use a regular eyeshadow brush that has stiff bristles and dab it out for a blurring effect. This will leave a stain behind after it rubs off.
And rubs off it does when I wear my face mask. I would not recommend using this lipping without blurring and dabbing it out first before wearing a face mask. If you use it full coverage, it will smudge against the mask and cause some smearing ~ and since this does leave a tint behind, you will have little reddish orange marks on your face. However, if you are in a situation where you do not need to wear a face mask, this is a GREAT shade, long wearing and is a total knockout with its velvety matte texture.
