I just got my November Flickerbox!! haha Well, November went out late and December is early, so without further ado… This month’s theme is Warm & Cozy ~ it came at the perfect time as the weather has turned very cold here in the Northeast. I am expecting 3 inches of snow this weekend!

Starting on the left: KarmaLit “Cozy Nights”, Lit & Co “Red Flannel”, Bridge Nine Candle Co “Spiced Chai”
KarmaLit “Cozy Nights” I am glad to see KarmaLit candles back in Flickerbox ~ they made a fantastic apple scented candle that I got back in April. This is a lovely pine scented candle ~ and it is highly scented! KarmaLit describes this scent as “Stockings, fireplaces, Home Alone on repeat! This candle captures a warm and cozy feeling with notes of orange, cinnamon, and pine…its been a favorite for the last 3 years!” I don’t really smell the orange and cinnamon, but perhaps once it is lit, it will release those scents. This is a limited edition candle with a hand lettered label by Olivia Lin of Atiliay, a paper goods store which specialize in hand letter greeting cards. KarmaLit is an etsy shop from Denver, CO and they use 100% natural soy wax, fragrance oils and pour their candles in a re-usable mason jar. Each candle sold will have a part of its proceeds go directly to non-profit organizations that are education, health/fitness, or overall child happiness based. Burn time is 40+ hours 4 oz RV $12.00 Approx. 2.75″ diameter by 3″ tall.
Lit & Co Candles “Red Flannel” From Boise, Idaho, Lit & Co is a favorite with Flickerbox and this month, they have a special holiday edition. They normally use frosted glass jars, but this time they went with a lovely patterned frosted vintage, Victorian white glass jar. The last time they used a jar like this, it was an amber color in March’s French Farmhouse Flickerbox. I believe this jar is exclusive to Flickerbox. Lit & Co is an etsy shop and Red Flannel is one of their new Holiday seasonal scents ~ and it is really wonderful ! It is a spicy patchouli candle ~ “A fantastic cold weather fragrance! Pine, birchwood, balsam, bergamot, sandalwood, a touch of patchouli and a little spicy coriander“. These candles are made in small batches and hand poured and they use pure fragrances, cotton braided wicks and 100% soybean wax made from botanical oils 45+ hours burn time. 8 oz candle RV $13.00
Bridge Nine Candle Co “Spiced Chai” I have never received a Bridge Nine Candle in my Flickerbox before, but I have received on in my Kloverbox well over a year ago. This limited edition candle is made in Portland, OR and is hand poured using all natural ingredients, such as soy, which is 100% sourced from American farmers, 100% cotton braided wicks and fragrance oils, which are formaldehyde free. This candle will have a clean, slow and eco-friendly burn and is housed in a jelly jar. This is supposed to smell like creamy vanilla and chai spices and I can smell the vanilla. I am hoping that the spices will be released at burn time. What I love about this candle is the creamy brown color and also the lovely copper lid with cut outs. That is so pretty. This has a burn time of 20 hours. RV $12.00 Promo Code Save 20% off your next purchase at Bridge Nine Candle Co by using FLICKER20. Expires 01/31/2017
Flickerbox also included a nice thank you card, as I am a long time subscriber and some lovely chocolates from Nova Craft Chocolates, which is located in Colorado.
The foil ovals ~ those, I believe are Dark Chocolate Ganache ~ I opened one up and WOW ~ it was like eating a chocolate truffle! Yummy!
I will say my favorite scent this month is a tossup between Cozy Nights and Red Flannel ~ I love my piney scents!! Spiced Chai isn’t doing much for me right now, as it isn’t that spicy and is very much a sweet vanilla ~ but it does have a gorgeous look with the brown and copper. This box’s value is $37.00 and I paid $34.00 for my box, as I am on a month to month subscription and I am grandfathered in, so my shipping is included in the price tag. This sub looks expensive, but if you factor in shipping costs for candles, which are heavy, plus that these are artisans, making their eco-friendly candles with their own scents and hand crafted, it is a great deal.
Flickerbox also has a store, where you purchase candles that were featured in their past boxes.
