Hematite and Aquamarine Om Charm Necklace  The charms are beautiful! I love the little beaded end cap on the black-peacock colored hematite bead and the Ohm charm is very well made and is about 1/2 inch. The aquamarine bead is a pale aqua-gray and works surprisingly well with the 18K gold-filled sterling silver chain.  My only complaint is the length of the chain ~ it is 16 inches, which for winter-time, is too short ~ I wear sweaters and like to have my chains to be at least 20 inches in length.  I feel that this shorter chain doesn’t work that well in the winter.  That said, the beads and charm do slip off this lobster clasp necklace and I will put them on a longer chain.  This is handmade in California by Gogh Jewelry Design  RV $30.00  Save 20% off your next purchase with Gogh Jewelry Design ~ use promo code APPRECIATE

OM ~ Known as “The Mother of All Mantras” and the four parts symbolize the four stages of consciousness ~ awake, sleep, dream and trance/transcendental state.   Before the beginning, the Brahman (absolute reality) was one and non-dual. It thought, “I am only one — may I become many.” This caused a vibration which eventually became sound, and this sound was Om. Creation itself was set in motion by the vibration of Om. The closest approach to Brahman is that first sound, Om. Thus, this sacred symbol has become emblematic of Brahman just as images are emblematic of material objects….  the symbol Om written in Sanskrit also represents everything. The material world of the waking state is symbolized by the large lower curve. The deep sleep state is represented by the upper left curve.  The dream state, lying between the waking state below and the deep sleep state above, emanates from the confluence of the two. The point and semicircle are separate from the rest and rule the whole. The point represents the turiya state of absolute consciousness. The open semicircle is symbolic of the infinite and the fact that the meaning of the point can not be grasped if one limits oneself to finite thinking.  Source The Spirit Science

Hermatite is minded from iron ore and it helps ground and balance energy.  It help reduce negativity and boosts self-esteem. It can enhance memory and enhance logical and organized thinking.

Aquamarine ~ Throat Chakra ~ Aquamarine can bring great power as it increases courage and fortitude.  It helps with making quick decisions and thinking abilities, while bringing inner peace and hope.  It can be used to ward off anger and fear and is considered a good luck stone.

Turquoise Bracelet with Charm  There are two bracelets in this month’s box, made by the same artisan ~ Indo Love and they came in this cute burlap bag.  What is strange is the sizing was so off with these bracelets.  This one fit fine at 7 inches and the bracelet string was not as stiff.   This has turquoise beads with a couple of silver-toned beaded spacers and then a very beautiful lotus flower charm.  The design on the charm is raised, not stamped and it is two sided.  The charm was a variation, you could have gotten a Buddha head for wisdom or in this case, the Lotus flower for enlightenment.  This is my favorite item this month.  RV $25.00

Turquoise 5th Chakra ~ Throat Chakra Turquoise is perhaps the oldest stone in man’s history, the talisman of kings, shamans, and warriors…  Turquoise strengthens the meridians of the body and the subtle energy fields, enhancing communication between the physical and spiritual worlds. Placed on the Third Eye, it supports intuition and meditation. On the Throat Chakra, it releases old vows, inhibitions, and allows the soul to express itself once more. It explores past lives and regards fate as ongoing and dependant on one’s action at any moment.  Turquoise is a stone for finding wholeness and truth, and communicating and manifesting those qualities. It stimulates and harmonizes the Throat Chakra, making it easier to articulate and bring forth one’s deepest wisdom. source

Lotus In Buddhism, the lotus flower represents purity, spiritual awaking and faithfulness.    The flower symbolizes purity, because it is clean, despite living in murky pond waters.

Chakra Energy Mala Bracelet  This bracelet is made with wooden beads and semi-precious stone beads ~ these beads would be the variation in the box.  There are 7 chakras which represent the 7 main energy centers in our body.  The stones will help target each chakra to help balance and recharge, allowing for a balanced flow of energy resulting in happiness, well being, clarity, positivity.

  1. Red Jasper = Root Chakra
  2. Carnelian =  Sacral Chakra
  3. Citrine = Solar Plexus Chakra
  4. Rose Quartz = Heart Chakra
  5. Aquamarine =  Throat Chakra
  6. Lapis Lazuli = Third Eye Chakra
  7. Amethyst =  Crown Chakra

I originally received a yellow jade bracelet with a sun charm ~ this was to represent the  Solar Plexus Chakra.  However, this bracelet was so tight and small ~ it was under 6 inches, that I did reach out to Indo Love to see if I could get a replacement bracelet, which they did for me.  Great customer service! I now have the Green Aventurine, which represents Anahata, the Heart Chakra ~ Governs trust, forgiveness, unconditional love, and emotional well-being. Promotes compassion and empathy. I also had a stamped lotus charm as well. (source)   RV $24.00   Save 10% off your next order at Indo Love with promo code news10

Raga Ganesha Chakra Nail Lacquer Ganesha is known as the remover of obstacles and he is the God of Success and can be invoked to bless any new venture. He is identified with a large elephant head and this pale gray color nail polish reminds me of elephants. This is a very nice shade and I plan to use it as a base coat for some glitter polish topcoats.  I like using pale gray instead of white nail polish as a base  ~ I have a glittery white topcoat for winter and this will look stunning with it. If you purchase Ganesha nail polish at Buddhi Box, the proceeds will support Elephant Family, which is an organization that is devoted to saving elephants, protecting their habitat and preventing conflicts.  RV $12.50

I did love all of the products in this quarter’s box, but I felt they were all doll sized!  I wish Maxine would let us put in a profile so that we can get appropriate sizing ~ for the expense of this box and looking at the vendor’s options, it would seem feasible. I did give Maxine my feedback at BuddhiBox about how the bracelets are getting smaller and tighter ~ the very first box I received from them had nice sized chunky stone bracelets (Summer 2015) and those bracelets were totally stunning. Since then, the bracelets have gotten very delicate and smaller, and I am not sure why.  I will give Buddhi Box another try and see if they revert back to those great bracelets from a year ago.  This box is very expensive and I shouldn’t have to ask each vendor to resize for me and I am disappointed in the lack of chunky bracelets.  BuddhiBox is more expensive, but it only ships out 4 times a year plus they feature different artisans each quarter and it breaks down to under $17.00 a month for handcrafted artisan jewelry and accessories.  I did pay $49.95 for my box, and I received a value of $91.50
