Before I went on vacation, I had ordered some Labiotte products and a couple of brand new items from Oolu from Memebox. I decided because these products are so lovely and wonderful that they deserved a haul blog post!
Labiotte Wine Lippies ~ first off, the packaging is adorable. The lipstick and lip tint are in the shape of wine bottles and the lip balm is in the shape of a wine glass. It is never too soon to think of holiday gifts and these would be fantastic to tuck away as a small gift to a friend or relative. Labiotte lip products all contain wine extracts. Red wine extracts, also called resveratrol, is an antioxidant that will help heal your skin cells by combating free radicals.
Labiotte Chateau Matte Fitting Lipstick – Red Sauternes There are 4 shades in the matte lipstick category and I went with Red Sauternes, even without seeing a swatch. This is a brighter color than I would normally wear, but I need to break out of my fear of bright shades ~ the color is very nice and it looks good on my skin. It looks coral in the tube, but it is a pinkish rose-red shade. For a matte lippie, it is very creamy and non-drying. If you are afraid of trying matte lipsticks, I would recommend this one, as the formula is creamy and not as “matte” as some. It contains 10ppm of aged French wine extracts and this has a very fruity berry scent but not a lot of “taste” to it. I didn’t take a pic of this, but you can take the cap off to reveal a sponge tip applicator to smudge the lipstick. Honestly, I don’t think you need that, but whatever!! It does come off pretty easily, but it also leaves behind a faint stain. RV $15.00
Description: Smart and sexy, this hybrid cream + powder lipstick glides on smoothly and melts onto lips. The unique Melting to Fitting System makes lips most beautiful when body temp reaches 82 degrees, and it moisturizes lips all day to reduce cracks and wrinkles while leaving a matte finish. Its star ingredient, well-aged French wine, nourishes with antioxidants so lips are shinier and healthier. Plus, the lipstick comes with a smudge tip applicator hidden inside the cap so you can perfect the edges of your lips or blend the color.

Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint RD03 Merlot Burgundy This is my favorite of the 3 lippies I purchased from Memebox in the Labiotte series. This is a tint and it is in a beautiful dusky plum (prune) shade and not only does it smell really fruity, it is the one that tastes very fruity as well. It contains 9ppm of premium wine extracts and sepivinol, which is an antioxidant from red wine polyphenols. The tint looks creamy, not clear like most and I just blend it out on my lips. This tint does stain beautifully and it is just like having wine-stained lips. The lip tints have the most shades ~ 6 of them. RV $12.00
Description: Bring the luxury of fine wine into your very own makeup pouch! The current talk of the town in South Korean beauty scene is the Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint.It comes in a unique and classy miniature wine bottle that houses a premium, long-lasting lip tint. This lip tint contains premium wine extract called Sepivinol imported from France. It gives double the moisture compared to regular lip conditioners but doesn’t leave a sticky feeling. The moisture seeps deep in the lips along with its natural tint. No more troubles about retouching from time to time since this is formulated to be very long lasting.

Labiotte Chateau Wine Lip Balm Red Wine 03 They do have 3 shades in the lip balm and I went with the 03 Red Wine, as that was a sheer red shade, according to the description. It looks like a deep berry shade in the goblet, but it actually is a nice sheer pink-plum shade. This contains 100 ppm of grape seed oil and 10 ppm of French Chateau Margaux wine extracts. This balm leaves my lips soft and supple without any stickiness. It has a fruity scent, but it doesn’t taste like anything to me. The balm comes housed in this wine goblet that has a lid that securely sits on top. I would not carry this in my purse, however, as I would be afraid that I would break off the stem. RV $11.00

Oolu is a new brand at Memebox and it is just damn beautiful. I couldn’t use the some of the other items, due to rose and jasmine extracts, but I did pick up 2 items that I could use! If the toner works well, I might try the Orchid Emulsion. I read that Oolu is a sister brand to Whasmia ~ does anyone know if that is true?
When plastic surgeons from Korea, the world’s leading nation in plastic surgery, create an organic skincare line, everyone ought to take note. The doctors behind Oolu, by Ohkims Cosmetic, believe natural beauty is the best beauty, so they curated choice floral leaves that help strengthen skin’s self-regenerating powers. A 1,656-hour fermentation process from selection to blending and steeping maximizes the natural benefits of these organic ingredients. Then the premium products, from toning mists to mask packs, are hand made to ensure the highest quality. As they say, true beauty takes patience.
Oolu Mist Lotion Ginseng + Gold I love ginseng products and when I saw this mist-lotion, I knew it was going to be mine! Ginseng is a great anti-aging ingredient and this mist looks quite gelly in the bottle, but it actually comes out like a thick water and absorbs quickly into my skin. It also has some royal jelly and fermented ingredients, as well as niacinamide, to help brighten your skin. This is going into my routine now. It has gold which is supposed to “awaken” your complexion, ginseng stimulates your skin and causes blood flow, so your skin looks glowing and healthy. It also has hyaluronic acid to hydrate and essential oils of bergamot, lavender and rosewood, which will nourish your skin. It smells WONDERFUL too ~ very spicy and ginseng-y. Oolu is certified organic by Ecocert and BDIH standards. This also has a piece of Korean ginseng root floating in the gel-mist

Oolu Orchid Toner Orchid is used in anti-aging skincare products quite a bit, so I am going to try this toner out, as soon as I finish some others, and see how it works with my skin. I have never tried an orchid product before (or at least not one where it is was the key ingredient) and I am interested in seeing how it works with my oily, but aging skin. I have not opened this up yet, as I need to finish at least one toner before trying this, but look at this beautiful bottle ~ the liquid is a pale shade of purple and there is a whole orchid flower (a real one!) floating in this toner.
