Genie had some major health issues (stop by her youtube channel and wish her well) and so June’s pouch went out really late ~ and she curated it from the hospital!!  I received it the other day and it is a fantastic month from MaskGenie.

MEGURISM Kao Hot Eye Mask in Chamomile Ginger (Japan)  I LOVE these.  I actually received this back in the LE Chinese New Year Oriental Beauty pouch from MaskGenie and I have purchased them on eBay and I also found them locally as well.  They come in different scents, like lavender, menthol, orange and unscented.  These are fantastic and it is an eye mask that heats up when you apply it to your eyes.  It is like placing a steam cloth over your eyes, to relax and help de-stress.  This version is in a a Chamomile-Ginger scent   Retail Price:  $1.35

How To Use: From the bag, take out the eye mask so it becomes warm.  Tear along the perforations, to apply the ear  ~ during use, close eyes.   If the room temperature is low, it may be difficult feel the warmth.  Depending on the usage environment, it may swell in the steam, but you can continue to use it.

Tonymoly Pure Energy 100 Propolis Mask ~ Soothing Care  This mask contains 0.7% proprolis extract and it is  an excellent ingredient for many skin types.  Not only is propolis soothing, but it also helps with speeding up wounds, which makes it also a great blemish care mask.  This also contains sodium hyaluronate, which is very hydrating and locks in moisture and witch hazel helps soothe while acting as a natural astringent.  This is not the Pureness line from Tonymoly and the ingredients list looks lot better!  I cannot find the Pure Energy line in Western online sites, so I am not sure if this is restricted to Asian countries or brand new ~ this was made in January of this year, so this could be a new line.  RV $2.00

Kuan Yuan Lian Luffa Cleansing/Purifying Mask (Taiwan)  Oh, I love Kuan Yuan masks!  I have received a few from MaskGenie and Miss Tutii  ~ I will have to do a mask roundup on the few I have, because these are great masks.  I had the moisturizing luffa mask before, but this is a purifying/cleansing, so this one is for oil control.  We might know this member of the cucumber family as the Loofah sponge, but before it dries out, its extracts are very beneficial in reducing swelling and also it is a detox ingredient.    It also helps replenish moisture in your skin and reduce pore appearance, while soothing your skin.  RV $1.50

I love this month from Mask Genie ~ she did a fantastic job, and doing this while she was ill!  The new SexyLook Disney Mask is so cute, love the My Scheming and Kuan Yuan Lian additions and I will try the Shara Shara hair mask.  MaskGenie had masks not only for your face, but targeted eyes and hair too.   I paid $23.99  for this pouch, which included shipping, and received a retail value of around $19.35.  This is to be expected as shipping from Hong Kong is not inexpensive and many of these masks are hard to find outside of the Asian markets, so you have to add on shipping for each individual site you go to ~ I do feel I got a very quality pouch with interesting masks.
