Unboxing January 2016 Miss Tutii Bag!

There is a new Asian Beauty Subscription Service out on the market and it is called Miss Tutii.  They have been teasing followers on Instagram for a while now and they finally opened up shop last month.   I wasn’t picked to be one of their bloggers when they were looking for reviewers, such is life I suppose, so I did purchase their first bag.  What is Miss Tutii?

Delivering you beauty products from around the world each month! We search high and low for the most popular items trending in countries like Korea , Japan , Taiwan , Switzerland and much more! So you’ll be able to discover great quality products at a fraction of the price!

What is up with Switzerland in here?  Since Miss Tutii is described below as an Asian beauty sub service, when did Switzerland become an Asian country?  I am part Swiss, so I am curious about this 😉

They have 3 subscription services:

  1. TUTIIBOX is a Asian beauty subscription service. Every month, we deliver 5 – 6 Full Size or Premium Deluxe Sample beauty products straight to your doorstep.  Monthly package ($25USD/Month), a 6-month package $24USD/Month ($144), and a 12 month package $23USD/Month($276)
  2. TUTIIBAG is a “smaller” version of our TutiiBox, you will get 4-5 Full Size and Deluxe Sample beauty products each month.  Monthly package ($15/month), a 6-month package $14.50($87), and a 12 month package $14($168)
  3. TUTIIMASK is for the mask lovers out there, who loves to try out a variety of masks for a fraction of the price.  There are three different types of subscriptions: a monthly package ($12/month), a 6-month package $11.50($69), and a 12 month package $11($132)

All regular subscriptions are recurring, unless cancelled within the term deadline.  All our products include English Instructions on how to use the items.

I signed up for the Miss Tutii Bag, as I really have so much product, I do not want a ton of full sized items.   Without further ado, here is the January Miss Tutii Bag!

Tonymoly Aqua Aura Waterful Mist This mist is made with 100% mineral water and contains no parabens, mineral oil, benzophenone, artificial dyes or animal ingredients.   This particular facial mist seems to work better with oily skin, as they do have a Luminous Goddess mist that is more suited for dry skin.  It has a fresh scent and feels very cooling and is reported to control oil.   This will be used in the warmer months, as I do love these types of facial mists after I have been outside in the hot weather.  Deluxe Size 65 mL  RV  $7.65

Too Cool For School Sleeping Mask ~ Fresh Gore  The other sample choice was the Pumpkin pack and I am glad I received the Fresh Gore, despite the name!!  I totally disliked the pumpkin version, so I am interested in this one.  Supposedly this has a light red tint to it from the dragon’s blood ingredient, and it is a gel, so it seems to be more suited for oily skin.  Sample Size RV 30 cents

It brightens skin by discharging melanin generated by UV rays, promotes collagen and provides a superior moisturizing effect.

Astaxanthin: This ingredient is widely found in aquatic animals, including shrimp and salmon, and prevents the harmful effects of UV rays. It’s the mother of vitamin A, and is closely related to eye and skin health. In particular, it’s known as a substance with the most powerful antioxidant in existence. Its antioxidant capacity is known to be 6,000 times greater than that of vitamin C, 800 times greater than that of Co-enzyme Q10, and 550 times greater than that of catechin found in green tea

Secret Key Berry Milk Hand Cream This isn’t listed on the product card, but it was inside the pouch, so I wonder if this was just left off by mistake.   I do own this and like it a lot.  It is made with donkey milk and  3 types of berry extracts ~ raspberry, blueberry and blackberry ~  which will moisturize and smooth your hands as well as hyaluronic acid which acts as a protection layer to trap moisture in and collagen, which enhances moisture and skin elasticity.   This hand cream is not sticky or heavy, absorbs quickly and has no fragrance from what I can tell.     Full Size 60 mL Retail Value $10.00

Laneige Original Essence White Plus Renew This is a watery white liquid that does have a floral scent ~ a lot of Laneige products are stricken with that perfume-y type of scent.  However, this seems to have won awards all over in Asian countries for the best whitening product, so I will have to hold my nose and give this a try.  This product is free of paraben, animal products, mineral oils and  artificial pigments (too bad fragrance wasn’t on that list) and contains green tea polysaccharides and truffle extracts to help moisturize and brighten your skin tone.  Sample Size 10 mL RV $10.00

Description: Laneige Original Essence consists of Melacrusher™ Formula that prevents melanin from setting in, improving melanin levels, evenness, skin brightness, and glow; also contains green tea polysaccharides that help achieve smooth, moisturized skin, taking you one step closer to the bright, vibrant, and milky complexion of your dreams.

Yeast extract, originated from mushroom, is a new-concept autophagic whitening technology that restores the melanin self-decomposing capacity of your skin for flawlessly bright skin.

Green tea, which is Asia’s leading whitening ingredient, is mild on skin yet powerful for whitening and considered the treasure of the world. Laneige White Plus Renew uses green tea for whitening to inhibit melanin generation and block Melanin Bridge.

SkinFood Royal Honey Essential Eye Cream I am pretty happy to get this sample tube of eye cream from Skinfood.  I do like their honey line, despite the floral scent.   This is a creamy white eye cream and it is an anti-wrinkle.  It contains honey and royal jelly extracts, along with shea butter, beta-glucan for a cream that is moisturizing and hydrating.    This will be good for a day time eye cream, as it is a bit lightweight.  This isn’t marked as how big it is, but it looks to be about 7 mL of product   RV $6.00

Description: A treatment eye cream with royal black honey and royal jelly extracts that moisturizes and adds a nice honey glow to delicate skin around the eyes.

La Glace Collagen Sheet Mask I have never heard of this brand before, so it is exciting to have a brand new brand to try!    This mask claims to tighten and moisture your skin, reduce and prevent wrinkles and restore your skin’s radiance.   This looks to be either from Hong Kong or Taiwan, I am unsure.     RV $3.00

Description: Each mask contains 40ml cream, rich in marine collagen and herbal extracts of plants, not only can nourish the skin, effectively supplement the loss of skin moisture, but also make the skin cells degenerate reply vitality, flexibility, rapid softening of fine lines, aging and make skin delicate and meticulous.

Key Ingredients: Marine Collagen, Water, Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium L Pyrrolidonecarboxylate (amino acids), Horsetail, Chamomile Extract

Lots of Extras!

I don’t know if this is because it is the first bag or if it will be reoccurring, but I received lots of samples plus two sheet masks!  One is from Lovemore, one of my favorite brands for sheet masks, in Gold Pearl and the other is a Pine Mushroom mask, which I am pretty excited to try out.

Initially, I am disappointed because I was hoping for some prestige items, as Miss Tutii was promoting them on their Instagram site.  I mentioned this on my IG account and Miss Tutii responded that they will start including higher end deluxe samples, so I look forward to that!   I will say that they did give a lot of product in this bag and I wonder if it was because it was the first bag offering.  I don’t expect all of the free samples and masks in the future, but I hope they will do the higher end samples.  I paid $9.00 for this bag, as I did have a promo code, normally it would have been $15.00.  I did receive almost $40.00, not including the extras, in product, so this bag was well worth it.

Have you signed up for Miss Tutii?  Did you get the bag, box or masks?  What do you think of them?

  1. I am curious to hear what you’ll think of the Skinfood eye cream. I am addicted to the mask from the same line and have been wondering about the eye cream. Does the donkey milk hand cream smell anything like berries? It’s dirt cheap in most online stores, and it sounds great from the way you describe it. If it does smell like berries, I might finally pull the trigger on this one. 🙂

    1. The donkey milk hand cream doesn’t smell like berries, alas. But I like it better than the original, because the original smells like baby powder. This is basically scentless.

The skinfood eye cream is pretty much a moisturizing eye cream. It does soften wrinkles and fine lines, but it is a bit light weight for me. I don’t care for the scent that much as it is floral. I hope to have a better review in the future — I am thinking of comparing 2 skinfood eye creams – this & black raspberry 😀
