I am going to start posting my hauls here on my blog and quick flash reviews** on certain products in my haul. I find that I purchase a lot of items and never mention them ~ the good, the bad and the fabulous! Also, if my readers are interested in a product that they want more information on, ask in the comments and I will see what I can do!
** Flash reviews ~ I will post the ingredient list and also my initial impressions. I may do a longer trial on the product, but will update the original blog post with my final verdict.
Sephora K-Beauty Haul #1
First up…Sephora is starting to add some K-Beauty products to their online store and in some B&M stores as well. They already stock Amore Pacific, which has the best enzyme cleanser EVER, but they are now adding more K-Beauty brands, such as TonyMoly, belif, Touch in Soul, Chosungah 22, and other brands. I received the belif Aqua Bomb as a sample¹ (read on to find out how you can get a sample too) and fell in love with it. I went back and purchased a couple of K-Beauty items at Sephora
Let’s get the crappy product out of the way first.
Touch In Sol Mini Magic Mascara Duo Set I was really excited to see these mascaras, Paper Pusher Stretch Fiber Lengthening Mascara and Stretchex Stretch Lash Effect Mascara, as I am always looking to make my lighter colored lashes (which the tips are so light, you would think I don’t have lashes) look more longer and fuller. I think I have a nice set of lashes, but because I have heavy upper lids, they really do need some extra oomph to them. I currently use Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara for the last few years and wanted to see if the two of these together would out perform it. I didn’t want to spend $22.00 each on the full size versions so I went with the mini set for $15.00. And I am glad I did. I had planned to do these great photos of my eye lashes without mascara, with Clinique and this duo together to show how great the difference was ~ but Touch In Sol failed horribly. I used 3 coats total with Touch In Sol (one coat of Paper Pusher and 2 coats of Stretchex) and it still didn’t beat one coat of Clinique ~ and Clinique is less expensive at $19.50 (full size). Thankfully, I am only out $15.00 and not $44.00.

belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb I got this as a sample and just adore it! If you follow me on IG, you saw that I posted a pic of the sample. I went back and got the full size right away, as this gel cream is wonderful for my oily skin! I use it as my night time moisturizer as it is very hydrating, without being sticky ~ so it goes on my face right before I apply a sleeping pack. My face is so refreshed and hydrated in the morning. It smells a bit herbal-flower-spicy ~ a nice scent that quickly goes away. Aqua Bomb looks like a light aqua cream, but it is colorless once you apply it on your skin. I think in the winter time, when my skin is drier, I can use this as a day cream, but for now, I like it as a night time moisturizer. According to belif, this cream increases hydration in your skin by 18%! They have a dry skin version, The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb, as well. The Aqua Bomb does contain alcohol in it, so if you are trying to avoid that ingredient, then please take that into consideration. Full Size 50 mL Value $38.00
