Memebox Lucite Green Box Unboxing!

Memebox came out with a whole series of “Spring 2015 Color” boxes ~ aquamarine, tangerine, custard, strawberry and lucite green.  As I love the color green and I adored the spoiler for this box, I picked up the Lucite Green Box.

I have a whole section in my blog,  devoted to Memebox, so if you want to know more, check out the Memebox category.

Lucite Green Box

Lucite Marine is a mint green color that’s loved all seasons, especially spring. This box includes mystery skincare items to help your skin stay detoxed and blemish free, as well as bonus non-skincare items.

Spoiler: LJH TeaTree Facial Mist ($30) Quick, gentle solution to problematic skin! Formulated with pure teatree extract, this powerful mist brightens, calms, cures, and moisturizes that it can be used alone or in conjunction with other moisturizer. Spritz liberally throughout the day as needed.

Non-skincare products in this box: Pony Nails #07 Love Mint ($3)  and XO Memebox Ginger Cookie Eyeshadow Mono ($5.00)

Mishha Aloe Fermented Cleansing Foam  I actually ADORE Missha’s Citron Fermented Cleansing foam and I am sure the pH levels are high (haha).  But the Citron works so well for my face, that I use it anyway.  I am very interested in trying another one of their fermented cleansers and I love aloe vera, so this is nice to have.  I will be doing pH testing over the next couple of weeks ~ I have a backlog of cleansers to do ~ and I will make sure I include this one.   This is a light light green-pearly color and smells fresh and aloe vera-y!  It contains 450 mg of fermented aloe vera extract and 2,550 mg of fermented plant extracts ~ dandelion, cirsium, chrysanthemum, purslane, mulberry, kudzu and mugwort, just to name a few!   Full Size 150 mL Value $5.00

Ingredients: Water, Stearic Acid, Glycerin, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Lauric Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Myristic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate, Aloe Vera Extract (Aloe Vera Ferment Extract – 450 mg), Taraxacum Officinale (Dandelion)/Cirsium/Chrysanthemum Morifolium Flower/Pueraria Thunbergiana Root/Portulaca Oleracea/Morus Alba Leaf/Artemisia Vulgaris/Phragmites Communis/Actinidia Arguta Juice/Crataegus Oxycantha (Ferment Extract – 2,550 mg), PEG-100 Stearate, Beeswax, Polyquaternium-7, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Extract, Butylene Glycol, Ethylhexyl Glycerin, Triethanolamine, Disodium EDTA, Chlorphenesin, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, BHT, Fragrance, CI 19140, CI 42090 analysis

LJH Tea Tree Facial Mist Toner  I love LJH Tea Tree products and I have been using their Tea Tree Body Mist now that the warm weather has hit.  I wish Memebox would restock that item, btw.   I purchased this box because of this item ~ this has 70% Tee Tree extract, along with lime, orange, apple, lemon, grape and cucumber extracts, with aloe vera and niacinamide.  This is a very refreshing and soothing facial mist which also is a toner.  It will brighten your skin tone with all of those Vitamin C extracts, calm your skin with aloe vera and heal acne with the tea tree and witch hazel extracts.   This mist toner is free from mineral oils, alcohol and it is a natural moisturizer.  Full Size 100 mL Value $30.00 (but it is on sale right now at Memebox for $25.00)

Description: Quick, effective solution to problematic skin! Formulated with pure tea tree extract, this powerful mist calms, cures, and moisturizes that it can be used alone or in conjunction with other moisturizer.

Ingredients: Melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) extract (70%), water, niacinamide, sorbitol, butylene glycol, witch hazel extract, aloe barbadensis leaf extract, nutgall extract, cucumis sativus (cucumber) fruit extract, enantia chlorantha bark extract, oleanolic acid, citrus aurantifolia (lime) fruit extract, vitis vinifera (grape) fruit extract, citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) fruit extract, pyrus malus (apple) fruit extract, lemon fruit extract, 1,2-hexanediol, illicium verum (anise) fruit extract, scutellaria baicalensis root extract, disodium EDTA analysis

Leaders Tea Tree Relaxing Renewal Mask   I LOVE Leaders masks and this is a great Tea Tree mask ~ I have tried this already and I give this mask two thumbs up!  This mask is made of organic tea tree and is designed for those of us with oily skin and really helps control some of that oil, with its extracts of organic birch, hazelnut and olive leaves.   It helps exfoliate, clear out pores and soften your skin.   Full Size Value $2.50

Description: What is Natural Cellulose? Produced entirely from fine linter – the soft fiber of the cotton ball that develops between its seeds and long fibers, comprises about 10% of weight, and would otherwise go unused. Soothing masks using organic teatree oil and adopting the theory of Sprout extract therapy.  Soothes sensitive skin by sebum comfortably. Restores balance of damaged skin to be eased. It’s Skin Aloe Relaxing Serum This has cucumber, aloe, watermelon and avocado fruit extracts, as well as Vitamin E and trehalose.  I am really excited to try this out and see what it is like.   This product is supposed to help retain moisture longer, due to the trehalose ingredient which is derived from desert plants.   Aloe Vera hydrates the skin quickly and deeply, 4 times more efficient than water.   This serum has a light fresh scent and it is pale translucent green color.  It does absorb quickly and my skin is glossy without being sticky or greasy.   Value $18.00

Ingredients:  water, glycerin, aloe baradensis leaf extract, butylene glycol, cyclomethicone, neopentyl glycol diheptanoate, citrullus vulgaris (watermelon) fruit extract, cucumis sativus (cucumber) fruit extract, PEG-11 methyl ether dimethicone, passiflora incarnata fruit extract, persea grattissima (avocado) fruit extract, caprylyl glycol, triethanolamine, carbomer, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, PPG-26-buteth-26, tocopheryl acetate, ethylhexylglycerin, fragrance, trehalose, benzophenone-4, xanthan gum, disodium EDTA, yellow 5 (CI 19140), blue 1(CI 42090) analysis

Pony Nails #07 Love Mint  This is a pretty pastel mint green shade.  I’ve owned the glitter shades but not the pastels, as I am not into pastels that much.  However, with a good glitter topcoat, this will work!  Full Size 1.7 oz Value $3.00

I’m Eyeshadow #13 Ginger Cookie Mono  This is a matte sandy-beige color that is a great neutral to have as an eyeshadow.  Memebox also recommends that you can use this to face and nose contour as well.   My skin is starting to turn golden due to the sun and my left arm always hanging out of the car while I drive, so when I swatched this, I wasn’t surprised that it is pretty hard to see.  Hence, the glossy picture with the circle and arrows   (yep, that is a reference….27 8×10 color glossy pictures with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one….Alice’s Restaurant for my readers who may not know this classic…)   Full Size Value $5.00

Ingredients: Talc, Mica (CI 77019), Boron Nitride, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Neopentyl Glycol Diethylhexanoate, Silica, Phenyl Trimethicone, Polyethylene, Iron Oxides (CI 77492), Iron Oxides (CI 77491), Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140), Diisostearyl Malate, Dipentaerythrityl Hexahydroxystearate/Hexastearate/Hexarosinate, Magnesium Myristate, Magnesium Stearate, Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Isostearyl Neopentanoate, Dimethicone, Propanediol, PTFE, Synthetic Wax, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Polybutene, Lauroyl Lysine, Methicone, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Iron Oxides (CI 77499)

The Lucite Green box is really a Tea Tree and Aloe Vera lovers box!  I do enjoy those two ingredients quite a bit and since it is moving into the warmer months, I do not mind getting aloe vera products in my Memeboxes.   I do love all of these products and I will use each and every one of them ~ I just wish Memebox threw in another facial mask or two ~ Aloe Vera mask and Innisfree Lime mask would have been great choices.    That said, if you love Tea Tree & Aloe Vera, this might just be the box for you 🙂   I paid $39.00 which included shipping and handling and I used a 15% off coupon, so I received this for around $33.00.   I received a MemeValue of $63.50, which includes the bonus makeup items.   You can still purchase this box here and try some of the coupons below if you haven’t use them!
