Unboxing Beauty

This is not a normal unboxing as this wasn’t anything I purchased, nor is it a monthly subscription box.  However, I received so many items, beautifully packaged, that it was just like getting a subscription box. 

Background: Memebox had featured A-True products in their Memebox Mini #3 and I, alas, didn’t purchase that box.  I was “new” to Memebox at that time, so I didn’t think anything of it.  Once I saw the A-True products in that box, I was immediately intrigued and have been requesting that Memebox to either please restock Mini #3 or start carrying A-True products in their shop.  Crickets….

So, I then reached out to A-True (website at http://www.a-true.com/eng) and expressed a desire to purchase some samples from them.  They have a wonderful website and I was so interested in many of their products.   Angela wrote back to me and after asking me what I was interested in, she then sent me out a package from S. Korea ~ she graciously sent these samples at no charge.  It came within 2 days!!

I opened up my box and wow – it was filled with tons of samples!!   I will proceed to tell you what I received and then, as I try these products out, I will post product review updates in this blog.    I plan to use A-True products this week.

Starting from the top left and going clockwise:

Real Black Tea True Active Mask  I received two full sized masks.

Product Description: Our superior mask is formulated using up to 73% of Compagnie Coloniale’s Black Tea Fermentation and 3-activator. The mask itself comes with all the benefits of the Real Black Tea True Active Essence.  By selecting the finest tea leaves only, F.T.G.F.O.P is harvested within Castleton Tea Garden, placed in Darjeeling, India. Present the precious value of the top grade black tea which holds the first golden buds of spring.

Directions for Use: Place the mask over your face. Remove it after 15 minutes. Massage the remaining product until it is completely absorbed.

1. Remove the protective film from the mask.
2. Appropriately place the mask on your entire face.
3. Remove the net from the surface.
4. Press gently to get the mask to attach evenly and leave it on for 15~20 minutes before finally removing it.
5. Upon gently removing the mask, massage the excess product onto the skin until it is completely absorbed.

Rose Petal Black Tea Enriching Moisturizer ~ 2x  ~ Black Tea Water 67% (Compagnie Coloniale) 

Product Description: The Ultimate nutritious moisturizer revitalizes and rejuvenates your skin for a refreshing feeling.  Rose Petal Black Tea helps maintain high levels of moisture, giving you a more natural and beautiful glow.

Directions for Use: After toner, thoroughly apply on your face and neck. Gently massage the product until it becomes completely absorbed in the skin.

Rose Petal Black Tea Enriching Toner ~ 2x  ~ Black Tea Water 81% (Compagnie Coloniale) 

Product Description: The Essential Toner smoothly absorbs into the dermis, delivering a deep hydration to maintain a relaxed and moist skin. Rose Petal Black Tea helps maintain high levels of moisture, giving you a more natural and beautiful glow.

Directions for Use:  Sprinkle about a teaspoon of the toner into the cupped palm of your hand and gently press the product evenly onto your face and neck until completely absorbed.

Violet Petal Black Tea Hydrating Moisturizer ~ 2x  ~ Black Tea Water 71% (Compagnie Coloniale) 

Product Description: The silky texture of the moisturizer smoothly absorbs delivering moisture deep into the skin without any sticky feeling.   With Mallows and Violets, they help to restore the natural skin balance by preventing excess oil from the T-zone and dehydration from the U-zone.

Directions for Use:  After toner, thoroughly apply on your face and neck. Gently massage the product until it becomes completely absorbed in the skin.

Violet Petal Black Tea Hydrating Toner ~ 2x  ~ Black Tea Water 90% (Compagnie Coloniale) 

Product Description: A slightly acidic balanced hypoallergenic toner with plenty of organic acids from black tea help control the pH balance maintaining an even skin tone. With Mallows and Violets, they help to restore the natural skin balance by preventing excess oil from the T-zone and dehydration from the U-zone.

Directions for Use:  Soak a cotton pad with a toner and smoothly apply it over the face and neck.

Himalaya Black Tea Moist Deep Cream ~ 2x ~ Black Tea Water 57%  (Compagnie Coloniale)

Product Description: Smooth and Soft Whip Cream textures quickly absorb and complete the empty spots of the dermis and epidermis. This helps immediately revitalize and present a radiant skin tone.  By selecting the finest tea leaves only, F.T.G.F.O.P is harvested within Castleton Tea Garden, placed in Darjeeling, India. Sweet Song Black Tea Miracle Cleansing Foam ~ 2x  ~ Black Tea Water 39% (Compagnie Coloniale) 

Product Description: The cleansing foam provides a rich lather to gently dissolve dirt, makeup residue and any other everyday impurities.  The Black Tea, ‘Sweet Song,’ is harmoniously blended with Verbena leaf, referred to as the ‘mysterious herb,’ and Orange petals, which symbolize ‘purity.’

Directions for Use:  Apply right amount of the product to wet your hands and work into lather.  Gently massage it onto your skin and thoroughly rinse it with lukewarm water.

Paradise Black Tea Aqua Blossom Essence ~ 2x  ~ Black Tea Water 50% (Compagnie Coloniale) 

Product Description: The fresh gel instantly spreads out when placed in contact with the skin. It wraps your skin in micro-oil to prevent loss of moisture.   Black tea is blended with the paradise on Earth selection of Black tea leaves and Rose petals with a hint of Lavender petals.

Directions for Use: Thoroughly apply on your face and neck. Gently massage the product until it becomes completely absorbed in the skin.

White Snow Tea Brilliant Toner ~ 2x  ~ Black Tea Water 83% (Compagnie Coloniale)

Product Description:White Tea improves the skin’s overall radiance and tone by minimizing the appearance of discolorations. In addition, Willow bark helps neutralize surface impurities and dead skin cells to promote the skin’s turnover.

Directions for Use: After cleansing, sprinkle a teaspoon of the toner onto cotton and gently sweep over the skin with it.

White Snow Tea Brilliant Essence ~ 2x  ~ Black Tea Water 83% (Compagnie Coloniale)

Directions for Use:  Thoroughly apply on your face and neck. Gently massage the product until it becomes completely absorbed in the skin.

White Snow Tea Brilliant Aurora Cream ~ 2x  ~ Black Tea Water 71% (Compagnie Coloniale) 

Product Description: White Tea was once only exclusively reserved for Emperors of China. The extract of White Tea protects the skin from dark spots helping maintain a crystal clear and clean skin tone.

Directions for Use: Take right amount with a spatula, thoroughly apply on your face and neck. Gently massage the product until it becomes completely absorbed in the skin

Darjeeling Black Tea First Anti-wrinkle Essence ~ 2x ~  Black Tea Water 66% (Compagnie Coloniale)

Real Black Tea True Active Essence ~ 2x  ~ Black Tea Fermentation 81.8% (Compagnie Coloniale)

Directions for Use:

STEP 2. Rub your hands together and gently press the product evenly onto your face and neck (Or apply smoothly over your face and neck using a cotton pad).

Darjeeling Black Tea First Anti-wrinkle Cream ~ 2x  ~ Black Tea Water 65% (Compagnie Coloniale) 

Product Description: Moisturizing Complex and Hydrating Factors help in maintaining natural skin moisture to balance and reduce the first signs of aging. ‘Darjeeling’ is the champagne of black tea. Earl Grey Superieu & Celyan Vanille Tea ~ 2 tea bags – I can smell the vanilla scent thru the bags!  This will be fun to try.

Black Tea All Day Long Sun Cream SPF 50+ PA+++ ~ 10g ~ Black Tea Water 39%

Product Description: ‘RONDE DU SOLEIL’ represents ‘round the sun.’ Blended by using the golden ratio of black teas; Orange peel and Cinnamon which itself has many Anti-oxidants, helping improve the skin’s complexion whilst respectively calming it

Sweet Song Black Tea Cleansing Water ~ 20ml  ~ Black Tea Water 87% (Compagnie Coloniale) 

Product Description: The cleansing water effectively removes daily makeup, impurities, and even eye and lip makeup. The Black Tea, ‘Sweet Song,’ is harmoniously blended with Verbena leaf, referred to as the ‘mysterious herb,’ and Orange petals, which symbolize ‘purity.’

Directions for Use:  Use the product with a cotton pad to remove all traces of makeup or any  impurities.  No rinsing is required.  Rinse with water if preferred.

I want to thank Angela and A-True for giving me the chance to try their products and how generous they were with their samples.  I hope that I can purchase the products that work out for me, as I cannot find them on websites that ship to the USA just yet.  I’ve asked Angela about this and will update you with her reply.   I am also interested in their line for oily skin, as the summers out here in the Northeast make my skin so oily.

Their website makes it easy to see what products are what, so this is how I will use them

• Anti-Aging: Darjeeling Black Tea First
• Hydrating:  Himalaya Black Tea Moist & Paradise Black Tea Aqua Blossom
• Dry Skin: Rose Petal Black Tea.  I don’t really have dry facial skin, but I can use the cream on my neck and decolletage
  
• Normal Skin: Violet Petal Black Tea
• Oily/Troubled Skin:  I didn’t get anything from this line which would have included the Verbena Mint Black Tea & Earl Grey Black Tea
• Whitening: White Snow Tea Brilliant
• True Active: Real Black Tea
