[ Banish skincare products supplied to Unboxing Beauty Finds For Me Giveaway from Banish ]
Banish Skincare sent me some products to review and I decided to ask Banish if I could pick some of their best sellers and create a giveaway with those products and they agreed. I just finished a review of several Banish items (review here) and these products are different from the ones I reviewed, but they are part of their best seller list!
This giveaway is open to both USA and International Readers (basically anywhere the USPS can ship to) and I will ship out the prize packages.
Banish Giveaway
This giveaway contains a prize package worth $104.00!
Banish Kit (Retail $75.00) This includes
- an all natural Vitamin C, E, Ferulic Acid Serum
- Banisher (derma roller)
- cleaning container
- storage bag
The Starter Cleanser (Retail $29.00)
A natural cleanser that’s made with no sulfates, so it doesn’t foam and doesn’t dry your skin! Many cleansers on the market today are harsh and dry out your skin, stripping away the good nutrients and oils. When your skin is stripped of the natural oils, your skin will produce more oil to compensate, therefore increasing probability of clogged pores and acne. Your face will never feel tight with this cleanser!

I like using different serums and ampoules with tea tree oil and centella asiatica. They’re light and help to keep me less oily. One of my newest discoveries is also a makeup primer from bareminerals which helps to heal blemishes.

What I use for my oily skin? I choose moisturizers that are not heavy for me, that doesnt produce oily of greasiness while having it on, the kind of moisturizers that absorbs fully into the skin while keeping it hydrated all day and all night.

I’m using Cosrx Centella Blemish cream to deal with my blemishes at the moment. I use the Banila Co Claypatra mask and a good amount of hydrating products to deal with my oiliness – it’s definitely improved but there’s still a way to go!

Ever since switching to a low ph cleanser I’ve not gotten acne, I do still use some LJH tea tree products and Benton snail bee stuff so I’m sure all of these help keep my skin clear.

I’ve been using the Cerave cleanser for a while now and I really like how it cleanses my skin without drying it! I’ve also been using a moisturizing lotion-essence from Dr CiLabo that hydrates and provides vitamin C. I feel that because my skin is more hydrated it’s not producing as much oil.

So far the best mattifying skincare product I found is an old Memebox product, the Lime Nature double very moisturizing cream! It’s perfect for oily areas and hydrating!

To keep my oily skin under control, I try to use as many oil-free products as possible. I also use low pH cleansers. And my favorite sebum control product right now is Skinfood Peach Sake Pore Serum.

I have been using Kleem organics face serum which seems to have reduced the oiliness in my t-zone (it is not specifically for this but it works for me!) I have not found a product yet that really helps with my hormonal acne though

I use a low pH cleanser and good moisturizers! I found out my skin was oily because it is dehydrated so even though it was oily I still had dry patches, so I need a good moisturizer that is not too heavy to make my face more oily but it has to be enough to hydrate my skin! That kinda helped with most of the acne (and I had a lot). I use those acne patches from cosrx or that white liquid thing on pimples depending on how many I have. ^^

At night, I double cleanse and use a toner. This helps, though I have yet to figure out how to really keep my skin under control.

Thanks for the great review on the brand! I am checking them out now. I use Curology to keep most of my acne at bay, though I still have hormonal ones that have to be zapped by benzoyl peroxide 😦

I’m mai_boxes on ig. Lately I’ve been using Bioderma’s Sebium Mat Control and it’s helped with my greasy face. I was quite impressed. Doesn’t help much on hormonals tho.

I use half a Stridex pad every other day, and 2.5% benzoyl peroxide acne treatment to keep blemishes at bay. At night, I tend to use a heavier cream mixed with organic jojoba oil, to keep from being too oily the next day. This has definitely helped my T-zone from being too shiny. In the past, I avoided heavy creams or putting oils on my face, but I was always so oily. I’m still oily now, but not nearly as so.

I use half a Stridex pad every other day, which contains 2% salicylic acid to keep my pores from clogging, and 2.5% benzoyl peroxide acne treatment every night, to treat and prevent blemishes. To keep from being too oily the next day, I tend to use a heavier cream mixed with organic jojoba oil at night only. This has definitely helped my T-zone from dripping with oil mid-day. I’m still oily though, and may very well be forever. But I’m not as oily as I used to be, when I avoided moisturizers, because I thought my oily skin was enough moisture.

I find if I double cleanse I don’t have nearly as many blemish issues. When I do start seeing one form, I use an Illumask and the Dr. Lee tea tree serum.

As crazy as it may sound, the Oil Cleansing Method helps to keep my skin under control. It still gets oily but not as much as it used to before I started this routine. I also watch what I eat. I’ve noticed mayo is one thing that triggers my acne like crazy! So, I make sure I take notice of not only what I put ON my skin but what I’m taking IN as well.

Hi, I’m from Croatia and I just recently discovered your blog 🙂 Actually, I was exploring through the world of asian cosmetics and finished up here 🙂 There are so many interesting reviews and unboxings on your page, here in Croatia we don’t have so many beauty boxes and I enjoy looking and reading about a lot of these awesome products that you get. I have very oily, acne-prone skin and still haven’t found how to get it under control, so I’m reading your posts and hoping I can find something that will help me. I think that the key is in hydration, so I’m at least trying not to use too many harsh and overdrying products (still need to find a good moisturizer, that won’t clog my pores and cause more problems). I was also left with many, many scars because I had cystic acne and wishing the Banish kit for a long time. It’s so nice of you for giving us the opportunity to win it also if we’re from another country, thanks! 🙂

I have been using baking soda and cosrx acne pimple patch. So far it’s ok but I like picking on my pimples. So I have lots of dark spots. I have been reading about Banish kit. And how awesome it is also been watching reviews about it on youtube. I’d like to try it but it’s out of my budget for now. Thank you for the chance and I am happy about that. I have stretch marks on my hip and I have dark spots on my back as well since I get acne there too and I also pick it. It’s very embarrassing to show off my back because of that. I wish to try a Banish kit so I can finally flaunt my real beauty. 🙂
