Just in time for the end of the month, I received my MaskGenie pouch for May!  At first glance, I wasn’t sure about this pouch, but once I started to dig into it, I decided this is a great month!

Dainty Design All in One Collagen Mask (Taiwan)   I love getting masks from Taiwan in my MaskGenie pouch ~ she picks some unusual ones!  This mask has some great ingredients ~ collagen, aloe, witch hazel, enzymes and amino acids as well as lavender and mint oils.  The whole kitchen sink that I love is in here!  This mask is supposed to help firm your skin, make it  toned and elastic, while soften your skin. It has hyaluronic acid, which will help hydrate your skin, and also retain moisture.   Dainty Designs makes a coffee mask (hint, hint, Genie!!) that sounds very interesting!   RV $1.70

ESL Real Essential Pig Collagen Sheet Mask (Korea)    Oh that is a cute piggie on the package! This contains 2000ppm of pig collagen, which deeply moisturizes your skin, while restoring vitality to your skin’s elasticity.  It also has some nice hanbang ingredients with ginger, licorine, green tea, wu wei zi, huang lian and sweet flag ~ full of antioxidants, anti-aging and anti-inflammatory compounds.  RV $3.18

Mediheal Line Friends E.G.T. Timetox Ampoule Mask  (Korea)  Oh I love Mediheal masks!   This one features a LINE character of the Brown, and it is a printed mask ~ so you can look just like him! haha  LINE characters were featured in original chat messenger app and have exploded to other apps, so you could emote your way with your favorites.  This is the Timetox ampoule mask, which has anti-aging ingredients with a few peptides, propolis, royal jelly, honey (for the bear ~ haha), collagen and beta-glucan (my bae).   This is an anti-wrinkle mask with concentrated firming and its sheet mask is made of cellulose.  Not that I want to look like Brown, but this mask sounds fantastic!  Can’t wait to use it  RV $3.00

annagaspi Placenta Facial Treatment Mask (Korea)  Don’t worry, this is not using animal placenta, but plant sourced placenta ~ from soybeans!  I love soy in my facial skin care products, it works really well for my oily, but aging skin.  I have never heard of annagaspi brand before, so I am pretty happy to try new brands.  This has lots of amino acids  in here as well.   The ingredient list is stellar!!   RV $3.00

Holika Holika Juicy Mask Sheet Mango (Korea) Hmmm, I received this mask in my March bag, so this might be my extra for ordering early?  I am not sure, as Genie doesn’t have her vid up to explain it.  I know I have used Holika Holika Juicy masks before and I do like them!   I think it is the fruity smell and since I love mangoes, this is fine by me 🙂  This mask is supposed to make your skin radiant, as it is a revitalizing mask.   This does have alcohol in it, so if you are sensitive to that ingredient, you might wish to skip over this mask.  RV $2.20  You can purchase this mask at Beauteque.com ~ save 10% by using promo code MICHELE10

DiaForce Rearar Black Hydro Ampoule Hydro Gel Mask (Skin Relief/Purifying) (Korea)  Last year, I received the Ruby Hydro version in one of my MaskGenie pouches.  This one looks to be more suited to my skin type as it is a detox mask made with 700mg of charcoal, which helps remove toxins, dirt, excess oil and impurities from your skin. It also has collagen, sodium hyaluronate and glycerin for moisturizing and adenosine for an anti-wrinkle treatment.  It is a 2 piece hydrogel and I am really looking forward to using this one    RV $2.40

Lovien Pure Hydrogel Wide Cover For Apple Zone (Korea)    I’ve used “apple zone” masks before ~ these are masks targeted for your cheeks (your apples 🙂 ) and I’ve always seen them as a one piece ~ it looks like a butterfly, with the wings being the cheek parts and the body is a bridge over your nose.  This is a two piece mask ~ each cheek is its own mask, which is pretty cool ~ each face is different, so this allows you to fit the mask properly on your face.  This has galactomyces (my yeasty friend, very good for your skin, lots of amino acids and moisturizing compounds in it) and adenosine, a great anti-wrinkling, anti-aging ingredient. Solone Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Essence Mask (Tawain)   And finally, a really sweet looking mask with rabbits and basket of flowers printed on the cover!  The packaging is so cute!  This is a hyaluronic acid mask, so you know this is going to be one that is designed to hydrate, lock in moisture, while attracting moisture.  This mask has a slew of seaweed extracts in it, to help tighten pores and reduce sebum production.  The mask is made from an ultra fine tencel material, to help adhere better to your skin.  Can’t wait to try this!!   RV $3.94

This is another great month from MaskGenie ~ the majority of the  masks found in here are very unusual brands for the USA market and some of them just look amazing ~ Solone, annagaspi, Dainty Design and Lovien ~ I hope Genie will include a Lovien full facial mask as those just look great with the ingredients list!  I am very happy with this month’s selection and I feel I received a quality pouch this month.    I paid $23.99  for this pouch, which included shipping, and received a retail value of around $22.50.  This is to be expected as shipping from Hong Kong is not inexpensive and many of these masks are hard to find outside of the Asian markets, so you have to add on shipping for each individual site you go to.
