December 2015 Peaches & Petals Unboxing

Peaches & Petals is fairly new subscription service that seems to be focused on lifestyle and beauty products.  From their website  “Experience our world of fun, flirty and fashionable vintage-modern lifestyle in a hand-curated box delivered to you each month. ”  Peaches & Petals sent me a box last month, which I reviewed and Miranda asked me if I would like to review their December Box as well.  I am interested in seeing how this sub grows, so I accepted.  I received this box complementary from Peaches & Petals for review purposes.  Many thanks to Peaches & Petals for their generosity 🙂

Old Shanghai Kimono Peacock Robe This was the spoiler to this month’s box and it is a lovely peacock printed kimono robe.  It is not silk but polyester, but it is silky soft and the colors are so vibrant ~ it certainly chases the winter blahs away!  I love the detailed print, with the flower blossoms and peacock feathers.   This is a roomy robe, so this should fit a variety of sizes ~ I would say it could fit up to a size 18.  This also has a sash to tie off the robe and there are two roomy pockets as well.   The drop wide sleeves are 3/4 sleeves in length.  When looking for info on this robe, I found it and with this photo!  I love David Duchovny.. haha  RV $25.00

Lindt’s Lindor Milk Chocolate Truffle Bar  Already eaten.  hahaha ~ Chocolate is always welcomed and I love Lindt’s Lindor chocolates.  I mean, who doesn’t?  They are smooth and creamy ~ so tasty!  Great treat to include  RV $1.00

SwissCo Spa Bella Soothing Eye Gel Mask This is great!  This mask will be very handy this winter season, with allergies and colds.   You can either heat it up or freeze it, depending on your needs.   There is a velco strap that goes around the back of your head to help keep the mask in place and you can do stuff around the home, as this mask has eye holes.   RV $8.00

Description: This gel bead eye mask gently rests on the forehead and eyes to relax and calm both the mind and body.  Heat this mask and place on forehead to  relax muscles and relieve sinus pressure and tension headaches.  Cool this mask and place over the eyes to soothe and relieve puffy, strained and tired eyes.

For Hot Relief – Heat in microwave in 15 second intervals.  Feel mask to check if desired warmth is achieved. Microwave temperatures vary, but total heating time  should not exceed 30 seconds.  Do not overheat.

For Cold Relief – Place in a clean, sealed bag and leave in freezer for 1-2 hours

To Clean: Hand wash with mild soap and water

C.Booth Lavender Mineral Bath Soak   I love C.Booth products and I always stop by the aisle in the drugstore to see what new things have come out.  I do love lavender scents and even though I don’t take that many baths, I can use this as a shower gel too ~ if using in a bath, just add 3 to 4 capfuls.   This smells wonderful and WOW – what a heavy product to put in our box!   This is a discontinued item, but that doesn’t matter to me!  Discontinued doesn’t mean expired or old.  C. Booth is always coming out with new scents and products.   Full Size 16 oz  RV $14.99

Description:  Say you’ve had it up to here and can’t stand it one more minute. Maybe you’re just crank. Pull yourself together with a bath infused with his addictive additive. Its secret blend of extracts and minerals restores skin to its former softness, while a calming lavender scent puts you in a mood that people can actually stand to be around.

Ingredients:  Water (Aqua), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cocamide DEA, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Glycerin, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Polyquaternium-7, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Oil, Styrene/Acrylamide Copolymer, Fragrance, Benzophenone-4, Tetrasodium EDTA, Citric Acid, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Sodium Chloride, May Contain: Blue 1 & Red 40 analysis

Art Deco Inspired Emerald Green Necklace and Earring Set  I know that Peaches & Petals didn’t say Art Deco, but it is very much an Art Deco Inspired design.  This is such a great set!  I love the deco inspired look, which was so popular in the 1920’s and 1930’s (think of the Empire State Building) and there are multiple shades of green.  The irregular pentagon shape in both the pierced earrings and one of the pendants, is a beautiful rich dark emerald green with little round “diamonds” flanking the 2 bottom sides.  The teardrop pendant is more of a opalescence green with flashes of pink, blues and golds and has those “diamonds” flanking the oval.  The bottom pendent has graduated rectangular “gems” in that same rich dark emerald green, matte forest green and an olive green.

The necklace can be separated from its antique gold toned chain or left together.  The shortest necklace looks to be around 16 inches and the longest necklace is around 22 inches.   But what is also nice is that there is a long extender, which is removable, that can give you 2 to 3 1/2 inches more on the chain!  I had to gush about this set as it was totally unexpected and it is really lovely!  Be careful with the necklace and make sure you hang it up; otherwise, you spend some time trying to untangling it (happened to me)  RV $15.00 ??

Peaches & Petals monthly subscription boxes are $14.99 a month and that includes shipping.    December’s box looks to be of a retail value of almost $64.00, with the robe and bath bubble taking up the bulk of the value.

I have to say, Peaches and Petals really stepped up their game this month.  I totally love all of the products in here ~ the robe is so colorful and I love the peacock print, the Art Deco themed necklace and earring set is very glam and I love Art Deco jewelry.  Chocolate is always welcomed 🙂 and the two spa products ~ eye mask and bath bubble ~ are not only useful, but fun items too.   I think they hit it out of the ball park this month and I hope to see them improve and grow.

Next month’s spoiler is an infuser water bottle, which retails anywhere between $15.00 and $25.00, depending on the size.  Those are fun!   If you are interested in subscribing, use promo code PEACHFIND and get 50% off your first box with Peaches and Petals.
