Green Tree Agate & Rose Quartz Om Necklace   This was our spoiler and I am surprised to find that such a delicate necklace has such presence.  This is a charm necklace and all three pieces are removable from the 27 inch chain.  The stone pieces are capped with a round wire textured top.    The rose quartz ball is a delicate shade of pink and it works very nicely against the forest greens of the tree agate oval slab, which is opaque with mossy-fern designs of the green working its way through the stone.   The OM symbol is the 3rd charm that dangles from this necklace.   All in all, this is a really lovely piece and I love the pink and forest green together!  RV $45.00

OM Before the beginning, the Brahman (absolute reality) was one and non-dual. It thought, “I am only one — may I become many.” This caused a vibration which eventually became sound, and this sound was Om. Creation itself was set in motion by the vibration of Om. The closest approach to Brahman is that first sound, Om. Thus, this sacred symbol has become emblematic of Brahman just as images are emblematic of material objects….  the symbol Om written in Sanskrit also represents everything. The material world of the waking state is symbolized by the large lower curve. The deep sleep state is represented by the upper left curve.  The dream state, lying between the waking state below and the deep sleep state above, emanates from the confluence of the two. The point and semicircle are separate from the rest and rule the whole. The point represents the turiya state of absolute consciousness. The open semicircle is symbolic of the infinite and the fact that the meaning of the point can not be grasped if one limits oneself to finite thinking.  Source The Spirit Science

Amethyst and Moonstone Adjustable Bracelet   Now, this is different ~ we do get bracelets, but they are stretchy types and this one is an adjustable bracelet, which is sure to please both small, large and everything else in between wrist sizes!   The bracelet is a waxed cord in a pale lavender gray shade and has two strings, capped with amethyst beads  so it can be loosened or tightened.   The top of the bracelet has 4 larger moonstone beads with 4 smaller amethyst beads, alternating and this is a similar to the necklace ~ its colors are soothing and pale, but it isn’t too delicate as the corded string gives it some weight.  It actually wears well with the necklace as the purples, pinks and greens all work beautifully together.   RV $25.00

Woodblock Chocolate Peruvian and Ecuadorian Cacao Flower Bar   I am sick right now, so I am not tempted by chocolate(!!) at this moment, but reading up on this, this isn’t a rose flowered candy bar (whew).  The wrapper is what is the “Flower” and Woodblock Chocolate, from Portland, Oregon, has several of these different wrapper designs with the Peruvian and Ecuadorian cacao.   This is a double origin bar and is made with 70% dark chocolate that has been aged ~ like a fine wine, chocolate actually brings a more smooth, robust flavor when aged properly.   And it only contains TWO ingredients!   “The earthy flavors of the Ecuadorian cacao and the fruity, caramel flavors of the Peruvian cacao come together to make a unique chocolate that stands on its own.”  Its wrapper celebrates The City of Roses, Portland!  25 gram RV $5.00

Description: Woodblock Chocolate is Portland, Oregon’s first bean-to-bar chocolate manufacturer. Family-run, their approach to their craft is straightforward and simple, using cocoa and cane sugar to highlight the unique flavors found in the world’s best cocoa beans.

Ingredients: Cocoa, cane sugar. May have come in contact with nuts.

I am glad that Yogi Surprise started putting the retail value on the items again, and this time, I think they are more realistic than what they printed before.  I love the jewelry pieces this month as they are delicate, but not boring ~ I don’t like dainty jewelry for the most part and these are not dainty!   I am already wearing the bracelet and I find it is easy to put on and take off.  The chocolate bar will be saved when I feel better, but it sounds really good ~ I don’t think I have eaten aged chocolate before ~ well purposely aged..haha.  I have eaten OLD chocolate but that is not the same as aged 🙂    I paid $25.00 for this box and received a RV of  $75.00 and I feel this box is worth well over $25.00.  Part of the proceeds from this box will go back to the local artisans that made these items and help educate their community ~ and I always love a box with a social conscience.

  1. My box arrived today, and the chocolate has a very nice taste. I thought the bracelet might irritate me with those danging beads, but I think I’ll get used to it. I did swat at one while taking pictures outside, as I’m so conditioned to be on the alert for mosquitoes/critters. But no, it was just a bead. I like the necklace best and do not have anything like it.
