Target Beauty Boxes range from $5.00 to $15.00, depending on the products included and they sell out within a couple of days. I’ve been purchasing Target Beauty Boxes regularly now for a few months and since I dropped Birchbox, it seems that Target fills that space for me ~ I already subscribe to Sephora and The 3B Box for beauty samples (high end and Asian skincare/makeup) and Target fills that need for me for inexpensive, but solid beauty products. Target will also add health items as well, as beauty isn’t just on your skin, but in your insides 🙂 This box is still available at Target.

Laneige Water Bank Soothing Mask Oh you know I love a facial mask ~ this is a 2 piece hydro-gel, which I am not that in love with. I know that I’ve had issues with Laneige Water Bank series before ~ it is very floral-perfume scented (you’d think with the name Water Bank it would be odorless or a fresh scent), so we’ll see how this works. The hydro gel is supposed to lower your skin’s surface temperature to help soothe, along with with green tea and chamomile. The essence in this mask will penetrate deeply into your skin, to keep it moisturized and hydrated. This supposed to be a very hydrating mask and I am sure if you follow me on IG, you will see me review this in the near future. RV $4.80
Description: Submerge skin under a soothing layer of moisture. The hydrating and revitalizing sheet mask, infused with skin – perfecting Hydro Ionized Mineral Water, soothes and cools skin upon contact. The mask utilizes Biogen Technology to prevent future moisture loss and maintain adequate hydration. The unique hydrogel material retains maximum moisture while adhering closely to the contours of your face for the perfect, non – slip fit.
- Hydro Ion Mineral Water: Infused with 6 ionized moisturizing minerals that play a role in regulating skin moisture, it swiftly penetrates the skin to activate natural moisturizing genes in the skin.
- Quinoa extracts: Quinoa has been a food source for mankind for the past seven thousand years. It is also known to protect the skin from dryness and damage.
- Natural olive oil: Micro-sized botanical oil particles absorb quickly into the skin to reinforce the lipid barrier in the epidermis to help retain moisture and smoothen the skin texture.
- Tillandsia extract: Rich in betaine, a natural moisturizing factor (NMF) that plays an important role in hyaluronic acid synthesis in the dermis.

Revlon ColorStay Eyeliner in Black I use liquid eyeliners and if I were to use a pencil one, I would like it to be a color other than black. Meh. Anyway, this is a retractable and waterproof eyeliner pencil with a built in sharpener. And it is in black. I mean, even charcoal would been nice ~ but jade ~ that would have been lovely. Come on Target ~ let’s give some nice colors to the ladies here. RV $5.99
So, this month was not that great for me. I like that I have a new eyelash primer to test out and the conditioner from HASK. I will try the facial sheet mask, but I fear it might be floral scented. The rest of the box was, well, boring and this was one of their more pricier boxes at $10.00. The RV was slightly over $37.00 and I just don’t see the value in this month’s box. Obviously, so did other ladies, because the box hasn’t even sold out yet and it is in the 2nd week of November!! Here’s hoping next month looks better or I will pass on it.
Did you get this Beauty Box from Target? Should Target make this a monthly subscription and what do you think they should charge for it? They have changed their policy so you can only place one box in one order, as so many people were ordering 10 or 15 boxes at a time.
[descriptions in italics from target.com]
I skipped this month because I wasn’t seeing the value. Maybe if were priced a little lower it would have more success? Personally I don’t think Target should make this a monthly subscription because I like knowing what’s going to be in the box so I know whether or not I’m getting the best value out of it. That’s just me though 🙂
