Unboxing July 2016 ToGoSpa Society Box

What is ToGoSpa Society Box? Well, it is a monthly subscription services that caters to supplying me with my eye gel habit. They also include an additional product ~ sometimes it is more than one ~ called The Benefit. Every month, we get a hint what the next month’s Benefit theme is and it was “Shhhh, our lips are sealed” and I guessed lip masks! Was I right? Let’s find out!

Before I head into the unboxing, I want to briefly tell you what ToGoSpa Society is, if you don’t know. If you do know, you can skip down a bit to my unboxing 🙂 I subscribe to ToGoSpa Society just to get their amazing eye gels monthly and they also add in a “benefit” product(s) that varies monthly. I am on the $27.50 variety plan, but I have been grandfathered in, so I pay $22.00 a month ~ and will receive the same Benefit product as the other plans, so I am glad that I am not missing out on that! ToGoSpa makes it really easy to switch your plans online as well. The $27.50 variety plan will supply me 2 packs of eye gels ~ randomly selected from Ice Water, Green Tea, Coconut and Pomegranate packs with each pack containing 3 pairs of gels (6 treatments total) ~ plus a “benefit” product, which could be one of their products or a product that they really like ~ valued at $20.00 to $50.00

The “Benefit” Product

Got it! Yep, lip masks 🙂

Coconut LIPS AKA the Pout Plumper I normally dislike lip masks because they usually are one solid piece of mask, so once it is on your lips, you cannot drink any beverage. I drink a lot of water, so when I am deprived of my water, I find that I get even more thirsty (some weird brain action going there). Anyway, these have a slit for your mouth, so I can sip thru a straw my water or iced tea and can leave these on for 20 minutes or so. Lip masks are just like eye gels ~ they help plump up and refresh your lips, keep them hydrated and moist. If you love to wear matte lipsticks like I do, it is important to have a good canvas (your lips) to apply your matte lippies ~ cause matte formulas show every flaw on your lips ~ you may think your lips are in good condition, but there could be small chapped area!

I like to do the following to keep my lips in shape ~ I first use a lip scrub to help exfoliate my lips and remove any dead skin and it will add oils to my lips. Then a lip mask to quickly infuse hydration and moisture to my lips, so they plump up. At night time, I use a dense rich lip balm (Aritaum Ginger Lip Mask Treatment is one of my favorites) to really soothe, smooth and repair my lips. Sounds like a lot of work, but it really isn’t ~ the lip mask is the only time consuming step ~ as I leave them on for at least 10 minutes and as long as 20 minutes. Just toss them on while you blow dry your hair in the morning and iron your clothes.

These are coconut lip masks, so I am thinking the formula is similar to the Coconut EYES, but don’t quote me.

These aren’t on sale yet at ToGoSpa, so once they are, I can post the ingredients. I received 6 packs of lip masks, so this is pretty cool (and pricey too!) These are around $4.16 apiece, so the RV is $25.00

As I am about to review a matte lipstick, this Benefit came at a good time. I like that this has an opening so you can still talk and drink something while you are wearing them. I paid $22.00, which included shipping and received a value of $50.00 If you order before the 15th, you can still get this month’s box. Next month, ToGoSpa hinted that it will be “Per Your Request” I know that ToGoSpa has been conducting surveys for the last several months, asking us what we might like to see in our boxes ~ so maybe they are taking those suggestions! BTW ~ I suggested Indigo Wild Zum Soaps and Wash With Joe Coffee-Mint Body Wash. I am now very interested in seeing what they put in the boxes next month 🙂
