I have posted these insta reviews at my Instagram account and I am now doing a handy digest on the following products on my blog

I am a Memebox Ambassador and they kindly sent these products to me for review.

Acwell is a fairly new brand at Memebox and they have a 7-day mask pack program ~ some are sleeping packs and others are wash off packs.    They contain hanbang ingredients ~ traditional Asian herbal medicine ingredients ~ highly concentrated and claim that they deliver “abundant moisture” to your skin.   The products that are sold at Memebox are travel size and each 12 gram pouch contains enough product for at least 2 uses ~ 2 for the wash off packs and 3 to 4 for the sleeping packs.  They come in a foil pouch and they have a twist off cap that can snap back onto the pouch for later use.

About Acwell

Beautiful people are gathered to make beauty with beautiful products. This is the mind of BNH Cosmetics brand “Acwell”. “BNH Cosmetic is ready to realize the effort for beauty and health worldwide.” Only useful substances from four Korean oriental herbs including peony and licorice in Dong-eui-bo-gam (traditional Korean medicine) are used for the development of Acwell skin care products for troublesome and sensitive skin.

Acwell Water Pumping Sleeping Pack The description states that there is hyaluronic acid in this product, but when I looked up the ingredients online,  it doesn’t contain it.  It does have glycerin, however.   Its point ingredient is angelica giga (Dang Gui), also known as milk thistle ~  which contains antioxidants, which helps with anti-aging by stimulating blood circulation, plumping up skin and reducing the appearance of wrinkles.  It is contains compounds that have anti-bacterial and anti-septic properties and that helps blemishes, cuts and wounds with healing and disinfecting.

This has a spice scent to it, which might be due to the traditional Chinese Medicine ingredients in this product ~ despite its name, this water pumping mask seems to be in line with TCM masks. I didn’t find it to be effective as a sleep pack at this time ~ it is the wrong season for such a light weight clear gel product that contains alcohol (but doesn’t smell like alcohol). I do think this is better suited for oily skin types than dry skin types and would be very effective in the summer time, when there is a lot of moisture in the air. I felt this didn’t moisturize or keep moisture in my face when I used it as a sleeping pack. However, not to be wasteful, I did use this as a daytime moisturizer and I did like it much better! It didn’t cause any blemishes, felt really nice and smooth when I applied it and wasn’t sticky or tacky ~ absorbed quickly, and wasn’t greasy, but controlled my oil. I do like how this can be reused multiple times as the twist off cap will fit right back on to the pouch. Final verdict ~ this might be good in the hot muggy months as a sleeping pack, but for drier cold months, this is perfect for oily skin to use as a daytime moisturizer.

Acwell Bubble Peeling Wash Off Mask   This is a foaming bubble cleanser  ~ I know, it states wash off pack ~ but I view these as bubbling masks as you don’t keep them on for 10 ~ 15 minutes but 1 to 2 minutes.  Once again, this product has a few TCM ingredients, as well as not being ingredient heavy ~ it only has 9 ingredients!  This foaming bubble cleanser type product is unlike some other charcoal based bubble masks, as it is very gentle, doesn’t cause an itchy feeling or dry my skin out.  The package should contain enough for 2 uses, but be careful as this product is liquid-y.  You can see the chestnut shell powder in the liquid cleanser product before it foams up on your skin.  Chestnut extract has been used in TCM for centuries as a antioxidant and the shell powder helps exfoliate dead skin cells.  I didn’t need to add water for it to start foaming ~ it just does that on its own. It does smell like a generic soap product, not the best scent in the world, but it is acceptable.

Leave on for 1-2 minutes and then rinse off. This is supposed to deep cleanse your skin and remove any gunk or excess oil on your skin, but I didn’t really notice a difference. That said, my skin didn’t feel stripped dry nor did I feel like I had to slap on a moisturizer right away. Is it worth getting? Probably not as part of my daily routine, but I do like the convenience of these packs ~ these small packs are very handy for traveling as they are under the TSA requirements for liquid/gels at 12 grams, they are flat and the cap does snap back on.

Description: daily exposure to pollution and harsh environmental elements can truly cause damaged skin for dirt gets accumulated during the week. Acwell Bubble Peeling Wash Off Pack provides gentle exfoliation by peeling dead skin cells off the skin to free the pores from impurities. This allows the skin to breathe and absorb the proper nutrients it needs for healthier, smoother skin.

Ingredients: water, ammonium laureth sulfate, ammonium lauryl sulfate, acrylates copolymer, glycerin, castanea crenata (chestnut) shell powder, angelica gigas (Dang Gui) root extract, polygonum multiforum (He Shou Wu) root extract, cuscuta japonica (Tu Si Zi) seed extract analysis

Acwell Relaxing Skin Sleeping Pack The last item in my insta-review is the relaxing sleep pack.  Once again, this is full of hanbang ingredients, that is for sure. I will say that Acwell’s mask packs have been all hanbangy with their TCM ingredients. However, I have found that the 2 sleeping packs that I have tried, including this creamy white sleep pack, are better suited as a day moisturizer for me. I have oily skin and these were not that hydrating or moisturizing for a night pack. The moisture level only increased by 7% ~ however, I could see myself using these products in the summertime, when it is more hot and muggy and I don’t need a heavy sleep pack. No irritations, no rashes, it smelled very herbal-floral, very light, not unpleasant. I will save this for daytime use

Description: After a stressful week, your skin deserves some intense pampering! This sleeping pack has an aromatherapeutic scent that helps give you a more relaxing sleep. This is infused with calming herbs that also nourishes the skin to improve its texture and complexion.

Ingredients:  water, cyclopentasiloxane, dimethicone, oleth-15, cetearyl alcohol, angelica giga (Dang Gui) root extract, polygonum multiflorum (He Shou Wu) root extract, cuscuta japonica (Tu Si Zi) seed extract, psoralea corylifolia (Bu Gu Zhi) fruit extract, lycium Chinense fruit (Gou Qi Zi) extract, achyranthes Japonica (Huai Niu Xi) extract analysis
