What’s In Your Aroma Box?
All of the essential oils, unless otherwise noted, have a screw top lid and there is a plastic lid inside that has a tube, so that you don’t spill out all of your oil if you drop the bottle (and it doesn’t break). I also like that the oils are in dark cobalt blue glass bottles to help protect them from UV rays and light.
Ho Wood (cinnamomum camphora) Pure Essential Oil Ho Wood is related to cinnamon, but its scent is quite different ~ it is an almost sweet floral-woodsy scent, very delicate and relaxing ~ Ho Wood is used as a substitute to Rosewood ~ and its chemical composition is similar to Rosewood as well. Vetivert (vetiveria zizanoides) Pure Essential Oil Vetivert is a very earthy scent ~ it reminds me of grass and dirt ~ yes, I know that sounds weird, but it isn’t a fresh mowed grass scent, but more like being in a field of grass. Vetivert is used in a lot of mens products as well as bath and body products as well ~ I love vetivert mixed with bergamot ~ an earthy citrus scent. Lavender (lavendula angustifolia) Pure Essential Oil Lavender is another one of my favorite oils and I love its herbaceous scent. I love mixing this with mint and getting a refreshing, yet calming scent. Create your own sleep-time mist by using lavender oil mixed with distilled water and spray on your bed linens. Add a few drops to your diffuser to help calm and relieve nervousness and depression. Description: Traditionally known for its balancing, relaxing, pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory properties. Commonly used for nervous tension, depression, headaches, hiccups, insomnia, impatience and irritability. Use neat on insect bites, as it may neutralizes poisons. Commonly used for skin conditions such as acne, to soothe burns, for hair and skin care, and in men’s cosmetic products. May be used in the birthing room with a diffuser during childbirth.

Peace Potion Roll On I got a little weepy seeing this item in my box ~ we do need more peace, kindness and love in this world. This is not yet for sale at Herb Stop ~ this scent, for some reason, reminds me of dark chocolate with oranges. It does have bergamot and orange in it as well as vanilla, so I think that is why this is triggering that scent remembrance for me. Use this whenever you need to feel calm and also, roll this on to the bottom of your feet before going to bed ~ it will help center and clear away stress. 100% natural and vegan and made in the USA. Ingredients: 100% Pure Essential Oils of Bergamot, Orange, Lavender, Ylang Ylang, Cedarwood, Vetivert and Vanilla in a base of Pure Golden Jojoba Oil.
Herb Stop also included an “Stress-Away Bath Blend” recipe which uses all of the oils in this month’s box. Use 20 drops lavender, 10 drops ho wood, 5-10 drops vetivert. I really enjoyed this month’s box with its stress-busting, relaxing, grounding theme. Everyone needs to have some down time and today’s world is so high-strung with too much junk information out there. We don’t know how to process it properly. Relax and take the time to listen and learn, filtering out the negativity and hate. I paid $19.99 for this and received a value of $42.46, which included a custom blend recipe roll on. Please note, essentials oils are not to replace seeing a doctor if you have serious ailments or issues. However, aromatherapy, scents and herbal tinctures/oils have been used for centuries with great success. I would never state that this should replace seeing your doctor, but if you know your body and you have discussed this with your doctor, you should be able to use essential oils for minor treatments.
