KollectionK is a new K-Beauty online shop, whose motto is “Kollect Korea and Keep Kute Stuff!” They are based in South Korea and their mission is to offer fun and humorous new ideas and products from Korea to the International market. They offer cosmetics, skincare, fashion items and cultural products, home decor, accessories and much more. They have a reviewer program and I applied ~ after I was accepted, I was able to pick out a few items that were of interest to me. Some of the items I chose were the brand new Etude House 0.2mm Therapy Air facial sheet masks. All of these reviews were initially posted at my IG account over the course of several weeks.
These masks are a daily low-irritant mask made of a breathable 0.2 mm fine micro sheet mask ~ as light as air!! The essence is quick absorbing for the most part ~ at least the ones I used ~ they are gentle and not harsh on skin, with ingredients rated 1-2 grades EWG. All of the masks are 7 free, uses natural scents and are hypoallergenic. Although I am sure that people might not be happy with the presence of alcohol in some of these masks…. The recommended time for leaving these masks on is 10 to 20 minutes, but I have left these on for much longer because they are so wet. They have three types of mask essence: watery, ampoule and emulsion. Most of the masks I used were watery essence and a couple were ampoule ~ I didn’t see a difference between those two in terms of essence texture. However, watery type absorbed better with a matte dry down and the ampoule was more dewy and sticky on my skin. The third type, emulsion, is a more milky-creamy essence and I didn’t have any of those masks. All of the masks contain 2500 ppm of the featured ingredient except for the Hyaluronic Acid, which contains 7000 micrograms of the featured ingredient.

Etude House 0.2 Therapy Air Mask – Aloe Soothing Moisture (Moist Water Type Essence) I used this earlier this week when I had a very bad reaction to some medicine I was taking for an ear infection (I thought I was going to crawl out of my skin) and I needed a soothing, cooling mask to use. This mask has 2500 ppm of Aloe extracts, which is a very hydrating and nourishing ingredient ~ Aloe packs a lot of moisture, while being an anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-aging ingredient. The mask was dripping wet with a very watery essence and it has a scent that reminds me of a cross between aloe and geranium ~ a spicy aloe! The mask sheet is thin but it doesn’t tear and it drapes and conforms to my face nicely. I left this on for 20 minutes and removed. My skin was very moist and dewy ~ it also was a bit tacky, due to the ceramides. The mask does nothing for my pore size, but does help reduce the heat and redness from my skin (I was having a VERY bad reaction, did I mention that, to meds). However, once it dried down after 5 to 10 minutes, the essence was absorbed completely, no dewy finish (whew) and my pore size looked smaller. I am really enjoying this new line from Etude House ~ I was never a fan of the “I Need You” line but this one is becoming a fast favorite for inexpensive but effective masks.

Etude House 0.2 Therapy Air Mask ~ Strawberry Brightening & Revitalizing (Ampoule Type Essence) This is my 3rd Etude House 0.2 Therapy Air mask and I chose strawberry as I love strawberry masks ~ they are great for oily and blemish prone skin. Strawberries are rich in anthocyanins, which help protect against oxidation (cell damage) caused by UV light, act as an antibacterial & astringent, to control oil & acne prevention. Strawberries nourish your skin with a slew of vitamins: A, B1, B2, B6, C & E, just among some of them & antioxidants, which helps prevent/reduce the signs of aging. Whew!! So the fit is the same ~ pretty decent and the mask is thin, but not too thin, dripping in a very wet, watery essence..that doesn’t smell like strawberries. It has a very sharp bitter alcohol scent 😦 However, the scent goes away pretty quickly and because this mask is so wet, I was able to leave on for 35 minutes. When I removed it, the first thing I noticed is how sticky my face felt. Very tacky. And it doesn’t dry down on my skin quickly ~ 20 minutes later, my face is still tacky with the essence residue. And dewy!! This mask is nothing like other strawberry masks I have used (MDB, Innisfree) and this is a mask that will provide a lot of moisture to your skin and it shows. I didn’t notice any brightening with this. If you have normal skin, you might want to check this out, even though it has alcohol in it. It really made my face look glow-y and dewy and I have oily skin.
Ingredients: Water, Dipropylene Glycol, Methylpropanediol, Niacinamide, Alcohol, Glycerin, Hydroxyethyl Urea, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Butylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Fragaria Chloensis (Strawberry) Fruit Extract (2500ppm), Arginine, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Allantoin, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Coptis Japonica Root Extract, Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Dehydroacetic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Disodium EDTA, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Polyglyceryl-10 Myristate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Boswellia Serrata Gum, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Beta-Glucan, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Pinus Palustris Oil, Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin Orange) Oil, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Phytosteryl/Octyldodecyl Lauroyl Glutamate, Ceramide NP cosDNA analysis

Etude House 0.2 Therapy Air Mask Tea Tree Refreshing & Soothing (Moist Water Type Essence) I am playing catch up with my mask reviews ~ I used this a couple of days ago and sorry for the scary-drugged-out eyes. I just came back from the optometrist and had my eyes dilated so my pupils were REALLY HUGE!! I am really enjoying the Etude House 0.2 series so far ~ this is their tea tree mask and quite honestly, this mask doesn’t smell like anything, let alone tea tree ~ so for those who dislike tea tree scents but love tea tree benefits, you might want to check this one out! This mask is super thin, dripping with watery essence (I didn’t get any of the milky essence masks in this line) and I left this on for a good 40 minutes. It was very refreshing and cooling on my face while I was wearing it. When I removed it, there was a lot of essence still sitting on my face, but it did dry down nicely without any tacky residue or stickiness after 10 minutes, and my face did feel hydrated without feeling greasy or dewy. It didn’t do much for reducing swelling on a blemish I have, but it did reduce the redness. I think the best part of this mask was actually wearing it, as it was so refreshing
Ingredients: Water, Glycereth-26, Dipropylene Glycol, Propanediol, Alcohol, Hydroxyethyl Urea, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Extract (2500ppm), Sodium Carbomer, Allantoin, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Coptis Japonica Root Extract, Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Dehydroacetic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Disodium EDTA, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Polyglyceryl-10 Myristate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Boswellia Serrata Gum, Beta-Glucan, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin Orange) Oil, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Pinus Palustris Oil, Phytosteryl/Octyldodecyl Lauroyl Glutamate, Ceramide NP cosDNA analysis

Etude House 0.2 Therapy Air Green Tea ~ Moisturizing and Soothing (Moist Water Type Essence) I used this mask the other day because my skin needed some soothing & moisturizing.. 🙂 I couldn’t seem to take a decent selfie ~ I was so tired! But the fit is the same fit as the other 0.2 Therapy Air masks…pretty good fit, very wet wet mask and it had a bitter citrus scent to it. Due to its amazing drippiness, I left it on for almost an hour ~ it was very cooling on my skin and felt very nice. After removing it, my face felt pretty moist, but not overly dewy, my pores looked a bit tighter and the blemish next to my lip was really reduced in redness and didn’t hurt as much. This is a nice, no frills hydrating mask with anti-inflammatory benefits.

Etude House 0.2 Therapy Air Mask Lemon ~ Moisturizing & Brightening (Moist Water Type Essence) I used this the other day and it is my last Etude House 0.2mm Therapy mask. This one has to be in my top 3 favs from this series. It contains niacinamide and lemon extracts to help brighten your skin tone and lemon is a natural source of Vitamin C and the antioxidants bioflavonoids. It helps protect your skin against UV damage and is also an anti-inflammatory. This mask was really dripping with essence and very watery ~ the scent ~ well, if I tried really hard, I could smell a citrus scent, but for the most part, it was scentless to me. The fit was good and I left it on for 50 minutes ~ when I removed it, my skin did look brighter and more even in skin tone, but I still saw some redness with the blemishes around mouth and nose (yep, stress zits!) The essence dried down quickly and left a matte finish on my face but my face still felt hydrated. I really liked the temporary brightness this mask gave to my skin, so I will give this 2 snaps!
Ingredients: Water, Glycereth-26, Dipropylene Glycol, Propanediol, Niacinamide, Alcohol, Hydroxyethyl Urea, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract (2500ppm), Sodium Carbomer, Allantoin, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Coptis Japonica Root Extract, Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Dehydroacetic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Disodium EDTA, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Polyglyceryl-10 Myristate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Boswellia Serrata Gum, Beta-Glucan, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin Orange) Oil, Pinus Palustris Oil, Phytosteryl/Octyldodecyl Lauroyl Glutamate, Ceramide NP cosDNA analysis

The following two masks are not from KollectionK, but I thought that it would be good to review them here as well. The Lotus mask I have reviewed here before and it was the first Therapy Air mask I tried.
Etude House .2 Air Therapy Soothing & Purifying Lotus Mask (Moist Water Type Essence) This is a new series for me from Etude House ~ I am familiar with their “I Need You” series, so this will be a great one for me to try. This mask is great for oily skin, as it contains 2,500ppm of lotus extracts, which are known to help purify and soothe your skin, while moisturizing. It also has beta glucan and sodium hyaluronate, which attract moisture while locking it into your skin. This has anti-inflammatory ingredients, to help soothe and calm your skin ~ licorice and allantoin.
This mask is dripping with essence and it is very thin, but not so thin that it rips easily ~ they are smooth and feel really nice on my skin. These masks are marketed as a daily low-irritant mask made from .2 mm “air sheet” which is breathable and will deliver the lotus essence to your skin effectively. The fit is quite well, just missing out around my nose. This has a warm lotus scent to it. I was able to wear this mask for 35 minutes without a problem and when I removed it, my face initially felt very moist and sticky, but within a few minutes, the essence has completely absorbed into my skin. My face looked brighter, clearer and less reddened.
Ingredients: water, glycereth-26, dipropylene glycol, propanediol, alcohol, hydroxyethyl urea, butylene glycol, glycerin, 1,2-hexanediol, nelumbo nucifera (lotus) flower (lotus) extract (2500ppm), sodium carbomer, allantoin, hydroxyethylcellulose, glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice) root extract, coptis japonica (goldenthread) root extract, zingiber officinale (ginger) root extract, camellia sinensis (green tea) leaf extract, dehydroacetic acid, sodium hyaluronate, disodium EDTA, dipotassium glycyrrhizate, polyglyceryl-10 laurate, polyglyceryl-10 myristate, caprylic/capric triglyceride, boswellia serrata gum, beta-glucan, hydrogenated lecithin, lavandula angustifolia (lavender) oil, eucalyptus globulus leaf oil, citrus nobilis (mandarin orange) oil, citrus limon (lemon) fruit extract, pinus palustris (longleaf pine) oil, phytosteryl/octyldodecyl lauroyl glutamate, ceramide NP cosDNA analysis

Etude House 0.2 Therapy Air Mask Hyaluronic Acid ~ Moisturizing (Ampoule Type Essence) This is my 2nd to last Etude House 0.2 Therapy mask ~ a new improved series on the “I Need You” masks. HA is a fantastic ingredient: it is an intensive moisturizing ingredient which bonds water to keep skin hydrated. It is a natural substance found in the human body and it made up of amino and uronic acids, and helps retain 100 to 1,000 times its own water weight in our skin cells. I love products with HA in it, including facial sheet masks, as they give my oily skin a boost of hydration without any greasy or oily feel. Unlike the other Etude House masks I tried, this one was ironically not dripping with essence. It felt drier than the other masks ~ either I have a dud or the HA mask, which is to moisturize, is not a wet mask. The essence is a watery type and scentless. The mask fit is similar to the others in this series and this mask did dry out quicker than others, so I removed after 15 minutes. Despite not being a really wet mask, my face did feel very hydrated and moist. So, I guess whatever essence they did provide was more than enough to provide the moisturization results needed. Like the majority of the 0.2 Therapy masks I tried, this one did not leave a sticky or tacky residue once it dried down. Even though this is an ampoule type, due to the lack of essence, I felt that is why it didn’t leave my face dewy ~ unlike the Strawberry version

Final Thoughts
I think that the new series from Etude House is so much better than their old “I Need You” line ~ the fit is superior, the thinness of the mask, the essence types, the performance ~ all have been improved. These are really nice basic, inexpensive masks with no frills. However, don’t let the no frills fool you ~ these do provide results and if you are looking for a mask on a budget, I recommend this series from Etude House. I know I want to try out some of the other ones that I did not get. For more reviews on this mask, check out my fellow beauty blogger, Kinseng, review ~ she reviewed some of the emulsion masks as well as others. My favorites that I tried are the Lemon, Lotus, Aloe and HA masks.

Hi Rea, these masks are one time use only, so you cannot reuse them once you apply them on your face. You can sheet mask as often as you want to! I try to do one sheet mask a day
