The Glow Game Series with Patrick Ta Ver.1

I am a brand affiliate with Patrick Ta, so I receive a product complementary monthly in exchange for a review. This is a very exciting collaboration and I am thrilled to be part of the Patrick Ta fam!  I am mostly a matte fan, but Patrick Ta’s products give my skin a radiance without being sticky or dewy ~ which I really appreciate.  I love exploring the Patrick Ta catalog, as the products really are out of my normal comfort zone.  I am learning how to use and appreciate glowing skin and so far, I have enjoyed all of the products I have received.  This is the first quarter roundup of the products I have reviewed originally on my Instagram account @colebiancardi.

Some products were complementary to review and was not paid.  All reviews are my own honest opinion and  I never have been asked to write copy for a brand.  This blog post might contain promo codes, affiliate and referral links, which using my links will help generate a small commission that helps support my blog at no extra cost to you.

I have an affiliate link (click here), which I make a very small commission at no cost to you and if you are purchasing from Patrick Ta, I would really appreciate it if you used my link as it help keep my blog going!  Now until February 15th, you can save an additional 10% by using my affiliate code of MICHELE10

To use, mist in a T and X formation and let dry on skin. This is so lightweight & the mist is so fine that it is really like putting nothing on my skin. I like that it dries quickly on my skin and it “fuses” my makeup, so it looks more even and flawless. Like an airbrush. My skin didn’t get a luminous glowy look, as I didn’t put drench my face ~ I think you really have to apply this in layers to get that glass skin look with this mist. So, in a way, I find that to be a positive, as I really didn’t want a glass skin look ~ this left my skin feeling hydrated but without any dewinessโฃ

Now I had read that this works in preventing makeup from smearing all over on a face mask, so I did take it for a test. I did put on lipstick as I wanted to mark the mask that I did wear it with makeup on

I wore my mask for several hours as I had to go out and run errands & when I returned, I could see that the makeup above my mask looked good & hadn’t smeared or faded. When I took off the mask, I did see my foundation around the places where my mask rubbed my skin, so I would say this setting spray will not work under a face mask. However it will keep makeup looking good and in place without the mask. Another bonus is that it didn’t clog my pores, which is a major plus with adding any additional products on my faceโฃ

Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Polysorbate 20, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, Propanediol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Allantoin, Citric Acid, Saccharomyces Xylinum Black Tea Ferment, Sodium Hydroxide, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel Extract), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Marrubium Vulgare Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Rosa Canina Seed Oil, Fragrance May Contain +/-: FD&C Red 40 (CI 16035)

These two items were ones I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about them as they aren’t products I normally would purchase for myself.  However after using them for a month, I will say they are fantastic, even for this matte finish loverโฃ

This uses a blend that provides a multifaceted radiance in a white pearl finish. This contains oils that will nourish the skin, provide a shine without being too dewy. This comes in a few shades, but Look At Her is almost transparent as I mist this spray over my face ~ it gives my skin a watery glow, without looking oily. This is a glow for everyone, but especially oily skins!โฃ

Ingredients: Butane*, Isobutane*, Ethyl Trisiloxane, Octyldodecyl Ricinoleate, Mica, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Linalool, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491)โฃ *The Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR) Expert Panel have deemed Butane as safe, and it is also affirmed as GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) by the FDA

This has shimmer and sparkles with a high gloss shine and it is a sheer lippie ~ which makes it great as a topper for lipsticks ~ that is how I normally wear it.

wearing Major Glow Highlighting Mist & Major Glow Lip Shine as a lipstick topper

It isn’t sticky and has a vanilla-mint scent to it. The sparkles are not chunky & I don’t even know it is there. This looks, smells and tastes great! I would love to try out some of their other Lip Shines nowโฃ

Ingredients: Polybutene, Isostearyl Isostearate, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Polyglyceryl-2 Tetraisostearate, Hydrogenated Styrene/Methyl Styrene/Indene Copolymer, Synthetic Beeswax, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Mica, Stearalkonium Bentonite, Silica, Aroma, Propylene Carbonate, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-T-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Dicalcium Phosphate, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil [Mentha Piperita Oil], Tocopherol, Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate, Limonene, Butylphenyl, Methylpropional, Tin Oxideโฃ

Major Glow Softening Lip Masque ๐Ÿ’ซโœจ in She’s Juicy  is a winner! I think this is my favorite so far out of the products I have tried! Okay, I was a little confused by this, as lip masks mean something else to me ~ in Kbeauty, lip masks are products that you wear overnight and are very occlusive and emollient. This is shiny lip balm with a bit of shimmer and it is meant to be used during the day over or under lip products. It has that classic vanilla mint scent that Patrick Ta uses and that I love so much!โฃ
โฃ
This contains an emollient blend which creates a film on your lips, helping to reduce water loss. This has vanilla & peppermint oil in here, along with a cooling, more gentle menthol derivative. As this product’s ingredients state it *might have* carmine in it, I cannot consider this to be vegan or cruelty freeโฃ
โฃ
I really love this one ~ it feels lovely on, soft & provides enough moisture without being sticky. It does need to be reapplied during the day, as it is a combo of a balm + gloss. The packaging is just beautiful ~ with its highly reflective square rose gold lid sitting on top of a frosted rose gold bottom. I would love to see this in a stick form as well, so it is easy to tuck in a pocket! I think this product would get higher ratings if Patrick Ta changed the name ~ I have seen some reviewers unfairly compare this to real overnight lip masks, when in fact, this is not one. View this as a daytime lip balm-gloss that you can wear alone or as a topper
