So last month’s Yogi Surprise Jewelry Box was just awful for me ~ read here ~ and I am hoping this month will be better. I don’t have high hopes for it as I truly disliked the spoiler for this month, but there is still another jewelry item plus the treat! They usually give one spoiler for the jewelry box, but the other 2 items are a mystery 🙂 What is Yogi Surprise?

Sun Salutation Cork Bottle Necklace So, this was the spoiler. I am not a fan ~ I like bottle jewelry, but the bottle here is ugly and totally uninspired. The stones are pink aventurine, which look more peach and this is on a long antique brass tone chain. This also has a really nice sun charm in brass. I think I am going to remove the cork bottle and add other charms to this chain, as I do like the chain and sun pendant. This is an 28 inch necklace, with the cork bottle adding an additional 1.5 inches with the drop. RV $75.00 (ahahahaha)

Sandalwood Chakra Stone Bracelet Now this is more like it! This is what I expect from Yogi Surprise Jewelry! I love this ~ it is made with medicinal sandalwood beads ~ which I can smell and it is beautifully scented ~ and 7 round stone beads, representing the 7 chakras ~ which are the 7 main energy centers in our body. The stones will help target each chakra to help balance and recharge, allowing for a balanced flow of energy resulting in happiness, well being, clarity, positivity.

Paleo Eats Coconut-Cacao Bar I always look forward to the chocolate treats in my box, and this one contains two of my favorite sweet treats ~ coconut and chocolate. This is a gluten and dairy free energy bar and it does look a little sad out of the wrapper. Since I do not have issues with dairy, I decided to spruce it up a bit ~ I heated this bar in the microwave for 30 seconds and then put a bit of whipped cream on top.

You can see that the chocolate melted a bit, like one of those lava fudge cakes ~ this was delicious served this way! Even if you can’t have whipped cream, try heating it up ~ it really enhances the coconut and chocolate flavors. Very yummy! I didn’t feel too guilty adding the whipped cream on top, because this is NOT a low calorie or low fat bar to begin with! RV $4.00

So, let’s get the bad stuff out of the way first ~ the necklace is a dud for me and there is no way that the RV comes close to $75.00. However, the bracelet is a winner and I love it, along with the Paleo Eats treat. I paid $25.00 for this box and received a RV of $111.00. Yeah, no.. haha But I love the bracelet and the treat, so I feel it is worth it and part of the proceeds from this box will go back to the local artisans that made these items and help educate their community.
