As I was going thru my HUGE stash of skincare products and trying to decide which ones to use next, I came across two items that I purchased from Memebox back in the days when they were Global.   I just adore these two products.

Re·cipe By Nature Slowganic Facial Cleanser  Every since I saw those pods that people got in their Global 8 box (I believe that was the one…), I started getting obsessed with this product ~ this was May of 2014.   I posted about this product (click here) when I first “discovered” Memebox and I did purchase the Lemon cleanser at that time.   Memebox then stopped carrying the product until earlier this year, when they released a Re·cipe By Nature Value Set, which had the Green Tea cleanser.    Before Memebox stopped shipping internationally, they did offer these cleansers at their store at insanely low prices, but no free shipping 😦   Slowganic cleanser comes in these really cute, plastic jam jars, but they are heavy ~ I did purchase another Lemon and an Adlay cleanser.    I have a couple of the jars unopened, a current one in use and a few sample pods that I managed to grab in swaps.  This has a pH level of 5 to 5.5.  I’ve modified my original review below to give a bit more information on the each cleanser type.

Slowganic has a bouncy texture, like a marshmallow, and you just pinch off or scoop out just a bit.  Add water and it will foam up nicely and apply to your face to cleanse.   I found this had a nice foam for a lower pH cleanser, it cleansed beautifully and it didn’t strip my face dry.    The cleanser is not sticky when you take it out of the container and it is 65% moisture, hence the texture.   Slowganic is made of 98% of natural ingredients and raw green tea and comes in this nice “jam” jar with a locking lid ~ very unique packaging for a skin care product.   This product has a lot of lovely botanical goodies (green tea, jojoba, olive oil, lime oil, lemon oil, brazil nut oil, argan, rosemary, lavender, almond oil, horse chestnut and so on..)  so check the ingredient list below to ensure you don’t have an issues with them.

Lemon is for brightening and uneven skin tones, Green Tea is for oily skin and Alday is for dry or aging skin.  I have used all three via the sample pods with no issues as they are basically the same formula with the exception of one ingredient in the Alday and Green Tea and two ingredients in the Lemon.  I currently am on my 2nd (and last) jar of the Lemon cleanser.

Ipsenature 5 Seeds Apple Water Brightening Scrub I first purchased this in August of 2014 and I found a treasure!  In fact, when this scrub was in the Snow White box, I went back and purchased another one, because I knew once people started using this, they would either love it or hate it.    And of course, it did sell out at Memebox ~ but just like the Slowganics cleanser, they did restock it in January, where I purchased 2 more of them and I only have 1/2 jar of one and one unopened jar.  And that’s it.  My original review can be found here, I did feature it a favorite products blog post and I will repeat my original review:

This scrub’s description sounded very appealing (apple – peel – appealing – weak pun) to me and I was interested in the concept of apple water. According to the box, Ipsenature 5 Seeds Apple Water Brightening Scrub contains 8,000 mg of Apple Water extract, which will help minimize skin irritations and leave your skin smooth and hydrated as well as brighter.   The 5 seeds are 1,600 mg of gentle seed powder ~ walnut, apricot, rice powder, corn powder and strawberry ~ which help in removing dead skin cells and excess oil in your pores, as well as simulating and promoting new skin cell growth, for fresher, healthier looking skin.  This is a very creamy cleanser and is very mild and gentle.  It does exfoliate but it foams up like a cleanser, not a scrub.   It has a light scent, not unpleasant, but it a bit medicinal ~ at least to me.   When I first used this, I did notice that my skin was softer and seemed more “bright” in its tone.   I have oily skin and this product is gentle enough for me to use several times a week ~ yes, I know I shouldn’t exfoliate that often, but it is what it is.

I have been using this product now for almost 2 months and I really would like to make it a staple in my cleansing routine, as I feel it effectively cleans out my pores, while removing dead skin cells and my face feels refreshed.  This also has papaya and willow bark extracts, which are great enzymes to help exfoliate and remove dead skin cells while being soothing to your skin.  If my face is a bit sensitive, I know I can use this product without any irritation.

BTW – I didn’t waste my swatches ~ I used the cleanser and the scrub on my face after I took the photos! Waste not, want not!

Product Description: Don’t envy apples, you can get ultra-smooth apple skin using this brightening scrub that smooths out skin surface and gently exfoliates.  Apple water is great for evening out and brightening skintone.  Ideal for all skin types.  This product is formulated without parabens, sulfate, benzophenone, mineral  oils, isopropyl alcohol, synthetic colors or fragrances.

So, these are the top items off the top of my head that I wish Memebox would restock in their shop.   I guess I could go the testerkorea route and request them, but argghhh, the shipping!!    I think that both of these items were huge favorites of Memebox Addicts and Memebox would do right by their customers by bringing them back in stock.  I know I would be a regular purchaser of them!   What are your “Memebox Bring Back Products”?  Ones that they had in a box or in their shop and now it has disappeared?  I would love to know! I’ve emailed hi@memebox.com to let them know of my wish list, so who knows ~ maybe if you email them with products you loved, you might see them in the store again.
